I cannot say enough good things about Steve and Zen Windows! The online quote was super easy, with no surprises when he actually came out to take measurements. We replaced nearly every window in our house, which only took a couple days, and I wouldn't have even known the crew had come in the house had we not had to let them in...they were super clean and respectful! The price was impossible to beat, the service was exceptional, the windows look great, and I will definitely be recommending Zen Windows to every single one of my friends and family that ask me about window replacement! Steve was super easy to work with in the quoting and ordering process. I liked that I could get a quote from him by providing pictures and measurements via text/email. I had a few other companies quote the job, and I was ready to be done with having a pushy sales pitch in my living room. Pricing was as good or better than other quotes I received, and I liked Steve the best so it was an easy choice. It unexpectedly snowed on the first day of the job, which limited how much work could be done. So Eric (our installer) showed up early and worked long days the next two days to get the job done. He did a great job and was very friendly. He cleaned up after the job both days really well. Wouldn't know anybody had been there working, except for the fact the old windows were out and the new windows were in. Happy we went with Zen and would recommend them.

Nothing but good things to say about my experience with Zen. Needed three windows replaced, and Steve and his crew made the process feel easy from start to finish. No sales pitch like other companies, just helpful information so we could make an informed choice that fit our price range. The installation was also a breeze. Steve's crew were respectful of our space, and we could tell they were treating the job with care. The windows look and function great! Would recommend to anyone looking for quality windows at a fair price from a company that cares about the customers experience.

Steve is great to work with. We had previously replaced the windows in our house that we used most of the time. After seeing how nice it was to have functioning windows that we didn't have to wrestle with every time we opened and closed them, we decided to replace our remaining windows. We had such a positive experience with the first set of windows that we just called Steve and told him what we were looking for. I love that we didn't have to go through an hours long sales pitch....Steve gave us a price over the phone. His work crews are friendly and clean up after themselves. Great experience.

We just had our windows installed by Zen. This whole process has been wonderful start to finish. The owner is great at answering any questions we have, and even came over personally as the window installers were finishing up to make sure everything went smoothly. One of our windows didn’t open all the way, and he came over to fix it himself! I love how reachable he is, and how quick he is to respond. Besides all that the windows look amazing! I strongly recommend Zen windows!

Zen windows just finished their first job for us replacing the windows on the upper floor of our house. I say first job because we will hire them again next year to replace the main floor windows. We were very happy with the windows, Steve, and his entire crew. I used a thermometer to measure the temperatures inside the windows. One old window on the main floor and one of the new windows upstairs in the same location. There was 22 degree difference!

It went very well. This was the first time I’ve had to get windows done, as I’m a new homeowner. Steve from Zen Windows was very helpful in explaining how the process works and answering all of our questions regarding the windows themselves and what to look for as we shopped around. Very little pressure and understanding on his end, which we very much appreciated.

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Zen Windows. After several PowerPoint presentations from other vendors, it was nice to work with Steve’s more customer-focused approach. The window brand Zen sold me reviews as one of the best and the warranty is great. The installers were quick and did a great job and the customer service from Steve has been great. I love my new patio door. I have more windows to install in the future and it is nice to know I won’t have to do any more research to make the right decision on who will be installing my next windows.

I love the idea that if my young son or daughter accidentally breaks a window, then I can call Steve at Zen Windows Twin Cities to get it replaced for free. The peace of mind is amazing. Steve at Zen Windows was amazing. My daughter needed all new windows in her home and got a quote from a leading company and was very disappointed in their pricing and sales pitch. We went on line and got a quote from Steve. He was professional and answered all of our questions and the price was fantastic. Her windows were custom ordered, well made, came in quickly and installed perfectly. I am thinking of getting new windows in my own home and will be calling Steve for that. Hire this company! We received a quote quickly and it was a great price. Steve came out and did final measurements and we had our windows in 3 weeks. Eric was our installer. He was here on time, was great with our dog and just the nicest guy. He installed our windows on the hottest days. Eric was fast and did great work. I cried when I came home after the trim work was done. Beautiful work. Steve came over the following day to check everything out and show us how the windows work. Beautiful high quality windows and a fantastic team. Thank you so much!

Steve and crew did an awesome job! Steve worked with our schedule to provide a quote and measure for the windows. He followed up upon completion to check on our satisfaction with products and service. His crew was punctual and professional and worked hard to keep areas clean and undamaged. We had 2 casement windows that were about 25 years old and needed replacement. We had other windows replaced by Zen and were quite pleased with them. We got estimates from other window companies, none of them even came close to the Zen bid. Steve is very easy to deal with and his crews are amazing, Respectful, neat and extremely thorough. HIRE ZEN. We had an excellent experience. Our porch windows, and a screen door, were replaced by Steve (and his colleague Erik) from Zen in June 2019. Fair price for excellent carpentry and window and door removal and replacement. They worked fast, efficiently, and professionally. Steve and Erik trouble-shooted a crooked porch that would have made window and door replacements a bit of a challenge for less experienced people. Steve was responsive to our many questions and he made (and kept) his promised schedule. Steve and Erik are professionals who work thoroughly and with a sense of humor! And they left with NO MESS. Our last experience (with a bathroom contractor) had us cleaning an hour/day after they left. Not so with Zen: at the end of the job, our porch was spotless and the windows and door were beautiful. We didn't know what a barrier our old and inefficient windows were to our enjoying our porch. We sit out there every day now. Our only regret is that we waited so long to have this job done: we feel like we have another room in the house now. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Steve and Zen because of expertise, fairness, and good business practices (kept to a schedule, problem-solved an unexpected issue, no surprises from the company). Really nice people, too.

Steve answered by email immediately and came out to my house and fixed both issues at no charge, even though i had bought my windows in 2016.

Steve did a great job of selling the windows - not your typical salesman that keeps on you to make the purchase. He presented the product, explained, and let you decide with no pressure. Once windows were ordered and received, (a couple weeks) the installers showed up and did a great job. Very hard working and professional.

I feel I could not write a positive enough review of Zen Windows. It is currently the coldest day in 30 years in the Twin Cities, and our new windows have made it possible for us to sit in comfort anywhere in our house. Zen Windows offers a quality product at a fair price and with quality installation. In an industry that is full of pressure sales tactics and elaborate, time-consuming demonstrations, Zen does business is a straightforward and ethical manner. I would recommend Steve and his partners to my family and friends highly and without any reservation or qualification. I had waded out into the waters of replacement windows after inspecting our new to us home in St. Paul. It was clear that the windows were old, but a close look showed that several were failing in multiple ways. We decided to replace all of them to increase functionality and insulation. When we waded out into the world of replacement window companies, we met with 5 companies that were generally highly rated here and elsewhere. Each of those companies sent a rep to our home to assess the situation, measure windows, and talk about various products. In a couple of cases, the company followed a demonstration with a high-pressure offer that involved calling the home office for permission to lower the price “for today.” There is none of this nonsense with Zen Windows. Here are the product choices, here are their prices installed. Nothing about how deeply discounted they are today, etc. I’ll say that Zen wasn’t the lowest bid, but it was very close, and the lack of posturing around price, the lifetime warranty, and frankly the feeling you get dealing with someone like Steve made the decision a no-brainer. The windows took about 4 or 5 weeks from initiation to delivery. They are made in Ohio, shipped to Minnesota, and they are installed by pros that Steve hires himself. The installation went well, took about one day of intensive work by two installers, and another half day of work by Steve himself finishing things off, inspecting, and making small tweaks. In the process, he discovered a few problems that needed to be fixed, and he promptly ordered the necessary parts. Those parts were installed (again, by Steve) when they arrived. You can read abou the company, their products and their pricing on their website. What I can say is that, after working with them and having the expert and timely follow up that has been necessary, what is described is what you will get. They are not the cheapest windows, but I am confident that I got the finest quality that I could afford, and I am working with a company that will make things right when they go wrong. I will call Steve immediately the next time I have a project involving a window. He’s honest, easy-going, and reliable. He is invested in the customer’s satisfaction, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Steve is very responsive & excellent communicator all through the process of initial contact, estimates, selection, installation process.. We replaced 4 windows. We were satisfied with their installers as well. In our case, after few months we had a stress-crack in one of the windows. I took a picture and Steve responded within few hours, he was able to order a replacement and did replacement on Christmas eve.
