Everything went flawlessly, quickly, and very professionally.

After months of agonizing research and consultations with 4 different sized window companies, we recently chose Steve and Zen Windows Twin Cities to replace the majority (10) of the windows in our home. Not only are we extremely happy with the quality of the window products (Soft-Lite vinyl casements and sliders), but we had a great experience with the consultation, measurement and installation process. Steve proved to be very knowledgable and a great resource in helping us make our window choices, without the pressured pitch or manipulation that we'd felt with other sales reps. Frankly, the experience was like having a "friend in the business" over to talk shop over a beer. We very much appreciated the up front and direct communication without having to navigate through layers of reps and project managers that often comes with a large national company. To that end, we felt like we got a great value for our money knowing that Zen's prices were not bloated to cover the overhead and marketing of these larger vendors. Finally, we felt very confident in the lifetime guarantee of the products and installation service we purchased, knowing that any issues down the road would be addressed without charges or service fees. While Steve is a local small business owner, Zen is a national franchise who would honor these guarantees should Steve retire or close his local shop. Almost six months in, we are very happy with our windows and even happier with our overall experience with Zen. We would highly recommend them! In fact, our neighbors just signed a large window project with Steve recently based on our positive experience and recommendation.

Great! One of the doors I ordered kept getting delayed, Steve came up with an alternate solution that saved time and money. The crew, Alex and Austin, arrived on time, were respectful of property (and pets!) and cleaned up when finished. Needed a little more paint on the inside trim and Austin came back and took care of it. We are loving the new doors.

Buying new windows through Steve at Zen was a painless process. The windows look great and we’re installed on time. The installers were great and tidy with their work.

We shopped around and found Zen to be a great value for the quality installation and windows we received. Replaced 6 windows and it took the crew less than a full day! One window came with a broken lock and it was fixed the very next day. Would highly recommend.

The whole team was excellent and responsive. The day of our window installation there was going to be rain and we were sent frequent updates when the crew would be able to come out so that we could avoid the rain. 5 windows (and removal of the old windows) were completed the same day on our 3rd level! We will use Zen Windows for more window replacements in the future.

Excellent! The estimate process was so much easier than listening to a 2 hour sales pitch in person. I sent Steve some pictures of my windows and he quoted me a price by email. They were very affordable compared to other quotes I had gotten. After going to his office to see the windows in person I decided to order them. Steve came out and took measurements and placed the order. It took about 6 weeks to get them. The two installers did an excellent job! They worked so hard and cleaned up everything so well. I couldn't be happier with the whole process. The windows are fabulous!!

We broke up our New Window project into two phases so we could afford the cost and Steve was more than happy to do this. Steve was always respectful and courteous when he came over. His crew did a great job, left no mess, and were respectful (especially in 2020 while we were all at home). We had some issues on specific windows here and there and Steve ordered replacements (at no cost to us) and came over and swapped them out. The new windows look great and we are happy with the overall process.

Super happy with my experience with Zen Windows. Steve is great to work with and provided an awesome quote and all the info I needed to make a decision for my home. The window installation was seamless and now the new windows look fantastic! Would definitely recommend Zen Windows and plan to use them again for more windows I need done around the house in the future.

Finally an outfit that does great windows for about a third of the “other” guys. I don’t understand why I should have to take out a bloody mortgage to replace windows, and neither do they. Recommend.
