We were selling our townhouse and the inspection showed we needed to replace 2 windows prior to selling. We now live in FL and needed to do most of our communication from afar. Steve was very responsive - he coordinated his initial measurement with our daughter's schedule. We were very impressed with his response and great work. Would definitely recommend him!

After several (4) 2-hour sales pitches from other window companies, I was so overwhelmed with the process that I had almost given up hope to find to a fair and reasonable contractor. I was quoted high prices at the initial meetings and then given lower prices after they left (many phone calls). My initial meeting with Steve, at Zen Windows, was a breath of fresh air; he was straight froward, professional, no pressure. He told me the cost up front with no haggling. I immediately felt comfortable with his approach. He showed me the windows, which are high grade, told me the price - and that was it! (He was priced thousands less than the competitors). I took my time to decide, about 10 minutes, and decided on Zen Windows. The job was finished today, and I could not be happier. His team is Top Notch, they covered the carpets with plastic, took down and reinstalled the blinds, and matched the interior wood trim to match my existing molding - the windows look amazing. He even arranged for the city inspector to come out while he was here - of course, they passed! I am so happy with the results!!!! 10 out 10!

Steve did a great job on the project and I was very pleased with the work. We got 3 great windows and they look great and are a ton more efficient than our old ones. I have done some shopping for windows and Zen Windows are a great price for what you get. I got the triple pane windows and come winter I know I will feel a big difference. I also like the no-salesman approach. A great way to get windows!

I highly recommend Steve ..he is extremely responsive, meticulous in his work, bid was accurate..work was not easy but he obviously is very experienced in handling challenges! Would hire him in a minute again.

We had 3 windows that we needed replacing. I looked at Angies list and looked at the deals and based on the ratings decided to contact Zen Windows because they offered a quote over the phone. I was concerned about bait and switch but Steve was very upfron, asked me some questions about what I wanted and the size of the windows and got back to me with a quote. There was no pressure. I decided to go with Zen. Steve came out and measured the windows and said he would get back to me when the windows came in. A few weeks later Steve contacted me and we set up an installation date. Steve and his crew arrived at the appointed time and proceeded to install the windows. There was an internal blemish on one of the window panes and Steve ordered a new one. A few weeks later the window came in and Steve scheduled installation at the same time as the city inspector came. I just wanted to mention that he came equipped with smoke and CO2 detectors so that we woukd pass our inspection. None of our other contractors did that and most of them just said that the ones we had were adequate. We are very pleased with both the windows and our experience with Zen.

From the first contact to the time they finished the installation Steve was very easy to communicate with and was very up front about the costs and options. I liked that I was able to send him the approximate size of the windows for the pricing without having to make an appointment. When it came to the installation day Steve and his crew were punctual and very professional. I had to leave to go to work but when I came back it was like they were never there, except for the great windows were in place. There was no pressure at any point of this process. Even though it was a small job, Steve did a very good job at making feel like a VIP customer. Definitely will use him again on other projects.

Steve and his crew from Zen Windows did a great job. They showed up on time and worked until the new windows were completely installed and met my expectations. They were organized and kept everything extremely clean on both the inside and outside of my house. They took the time to explain functionality of the windows when they were done and after they left you wouldn't have known they were there. I am very pleased with the windows. They look great and I look forward to cooking in my kitchen this winter without feeling the wind blow through it.

My dad had Zen replace some windows and was very happy. The orginal windows of our 1964 house were definitely showing their age, and we were looking to replace some. At first, I was going to go with a big box store, but found that communication with them was not going well. From start to finish, my experience with Zen Windows was top notch. I emailed Mr. Copsey to ask about an estimate and he had numbers back to me the next day. We set up a time for measuring and he was out when he said he would come. He let me know when he would order the windows (the day after measuring), how long the windows would typically take, and gave me a range of days to pick from when they would be installed. Once Zen received the windows (they arrived as expected) we set up a day. The crew came when they said they would. Wow. When I came home after the install it was as if the windows were teleported in place. There was not the slightest hint of the crew ever having been in my house. They lay paper down on the floor, move furniture back in place, and replace window treatments. They also haul every trace of the old windows away. The results were spectacular. The vinyl matched the woodwork on all five windows almost perfectly, and the windows themselves look beautiful from both the inside and outside. SO nice to get rid of those old, ugly aluminum storm windows! Once we moved ahead with Zen Windows, Mr. Copsey made it clear to us that he wanted us to be 100% satisfied. If anything is not to your satisfaction, he said, let us know and we'll make it right. The quality install, beautiful windows, excellent communication, good price, and responsiveness leaves me 100% satisfied. Based on our experience with Zen, we are going to have them replace the rest of the windows in our house, and we'll be recommending them to anyone who needs new windows.

The owner Steven Copsey was so professional, friendly and knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to work with him and his crew. I'm super impressed. The windows look so good I couldn't stop looking at them I kept going in and out of my house to see them even though it's so cold out. The frame of the windows look so fresh, bright and clean and the trim looks so slim it leaves more of the window exposed letting the outside in, much more than my neighbors who have a lot of white trim that takes away from the window, Now I really can't wait for Spring. The windows just brighten the rooms and they look beautiful. I opened them last night and they just slide open and easy to clean. I am amazed at how great they look. One of the biggest reasons I bought my condo was because of the beautiful big windows and now they have really been enhanced and accented which I believe will really add to the value of my home. I highly recommend Zen windows to everyone, they did an exemplary job, excellent quality, good service and a great price.

Everything went so smoothly, which is always surprising when you live in a 1926 St. Paul home :). Steve was great to work with and we were very happy with our 5 new windows and the work they did. They were fast yet paid attention to detail and their clean up was amazing. Drop cloths everywhere and they vacuumed up the mess the window removal made. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Steve from Zen Windows was great to work with from the day I purchased the deal from Angie's list to the install date and the follow up email afterward. He and his workers did a great job installing 5 new energy star rated windows at my house. He was on time for every appointment from coming out to taking measurements to doing the install over a few hours on a Friday. He and his crew were professional and quick workers. Taking extra measures not the make or leave a mess. I highly recommend his services.

Steve was very responsive and easy to work with. He explained all of the details of the windows and service well. There were some additional costs from the original add based on window color and trim, but all was clear before work was done. The men who came out and did the work were efficient and polite. They took care to cover all of the openings to the room so that dust wouldn't spread throughout the house and the heat wouldn't all escape. The windows look great and the install was done very professionally. I would totally recommend Zen windows.

Zen windows was great. From communication by phone or email and working around my schedule, they were informative, helpful, and NOT condescending like a lot of contractors. They didn't make me feel like I was lucky to have their service. They told me they appreciated and wanted my business!

Contacted Zen Windows via email after looking into several providers (e.g. Champion WIndows, Renewal by Andersen, etc) and Zen was the first to get back to me and provided an initial estimate via email. I was able to send pictures and rough dimensions of the existing windows to help the process. I was very impressed by the responsiveness and speed of the quoting and measuring process. After comparing a few of the quotes, Zen Windows was price competitive, but also have a very good process for purchasing, quality control and installation. I'd much rather have all of the steps controlled by Zen than have different sub contractors through each step. I'm also very happy with the quality of the windows. The vinyl frame with double pane low-e glass filled with argon seems to keep things nice and cozy. There is 1 Andersen wood frame window in the same room and it seems to have much higher air penetration.

Steve immediately told me what he needed in order to make a bid and then showed up later to take all the measurements. My windows are really old, it's pretty much winter inside when it's winter outside. He showed up on the first day of installation with his workers, who were polite, efficient, and great with the dogs! I work at home so I was able to not miss a beat during the two days of installation. He took the reduction on the windows promised through Angie's List with grace... The windows are high quality and will last the duration of the house. We're still going to get a bay window in the front and I'm sure I'll be thrilled. They know exactly what they are doing--and I was looking for high grade windows and got them.

Zen was the first window company I contacted for a bid. They were the first because they advertised a bid over the phone. Steve had a quote back in 5-10 minutes. I proceeded to get three more bids. One of the bids was lower, but they were going to leave the inside finishing (jams and trim) to me. The other two bids were considerably higher. Finally, I contacted Zen back and asked them to come out with a window for my inspection. Their features topped each of the other windows I had inspected. Besides the superiority of the window, I especially liked the interior appearance - how it matched my other woodwork and the fact that the screen also featured the woodwork finish. Mr. Copesy accompanied his installation crew and arrive right on time on the morning of the installation. Steve introduced me to the crew, made sure that everything was ready and then left. The two installers were polite and personable. They laid covering on the floor all the way from the front door, up the stairs and into the bedroom. The installation was flawless. The two installers were masters. They were very meticulous, neat and precise and it showed in the end result. The interior finish was perfect. The stain on the jams and trim matched the finish on the window perfectly. The jams were solid oak as compared to my original pine. The corners of the trim are all tight and they covered the paint line all around the trim. What amaze me most was how perfectly the window fit, complete with jam and trim, into the original opening. It was as if the replacement windows were exactly the same as the windows that were replaced. When the job was completed, they rehung the curtains and installed the blinds. They even vacuumed the bedroom floor before they left. In time, the rest of the windows in my house will need replacing. There is no doubt who will replace them.

I purchased the deal after he came to my house to look at the windows and confirmed the deal would work for me. After purchasing it, he told me the windows do not qualify for the deal. He was going to charge me a lot of extra costs. I tried to work with him, but the extra fees were too much, so I’m looking for an alternate company.

It was Great! No sales man and NO high pressure. Steve answered all our questions. The guys were done installing the windows in a day and cleaned up extremely well. They said they would be here at 8:30 am and actually got to the house around 8:15. We really like the lifetime warranty on the windows and feel at ease knowing that. Everything was very professional.

It was excellent from the start. We interviewed two other companies and had to deal with the salesman coming to our house and listening to their two hour sales spiel. Steve emailed us the quote after he helped us determine what windows were the best fit for our house. Austin came out to measure and ordered the windows. The installation took a couple days and the guys were very clean and organized. Steve called daily to check in on us and to see if we had any concerns and to make certain we were happy throughout the install. The window quality is superior and the trim work is flawless.

As a single parent I really appreciated that I did not have to have a salesman come to my house. The estimate process was so easy. Initially when I called Zen Windows, I left a voicemail and Steve called back within an hour. He asked me some questions and emailed me a quote a couple minutes later. I am looking forward to having the windows installed.
