TERRY OVERACKER PLUMBING, INC

We use Terry Overacker Plumbing at our very large Cooperative. They are very responsive and very knowledgeable regarding all of our plumbing needs. They do little things like unplug sinks to large items like replacing the building water heater. They are quick to schedule our jobs. Tony, Gail and Greg are so nice to work with, so friendly, professional and knowledgeable.

Got a new water heater installed by these guys, and everything went great. Will definitely call them back in the future!

It went good. Came out and took a look, initial suggestion was to redo the bathroom. Had him come out again for a second opinion/look and we settled on re-caulking the shower.

One replacement leaked and had to be replaced

I called three plumbers, frantic because of the large amount of leakage and only two days before Thanksgiving. I was unable to use the kitchen sink or the dishwasher due to the leakage. I called three plumbers, and Terry Overacker Plumbing was the only place that answered my call rather than going to voicemail. They had a service person in my area. He was here within the hour. The service person, JR, carefully explained the types of disposals they had to offer and gave me the pricing. He then installed the new disposal efficiently. The disposal is great - we took the higher-end model. It is quiet and has a nice warranty, and most importantly, no more leak! I was very happy that they got someone to my house so quickly and did a great job. JR was very personable. I would hire this company again with no hesitation.

They did a good job. They missed our appointment and I had to call them. Due to the miscommunication, he did send extra workers.

He gives 30$ gift certificates for referrals. He is very personable and he left everything spotlessly clean. He himself is a neat appearing person and very personable. He is great and I am having him again. He told me what have to be done and how much it is going to cost up to a penny. The work that he did was beautiful and I did not have any problem.

I've used them for years. It was pretty expensive. They're professional and they seemed to know what they're doing. They were fine. They answered everything and they explained everything.

They did a great job. They removed the old tub and wall that had been water damage. They put in the new larger tub. It did take longer than originally planned but that was the only drawback.

We are doing a kitchen remodel and had to have our dishwasher and sink disconnected and reconnected along with putting in a new kitchen faucet. The work was done very well, Greg was very pleasant to work with and left the house clean and in good condition. The reason that I am giving a "C" for price is, because they are the only contractors that we have had out doing work that charged a "fuel charge" each time (2) that they came out. I put down that we would hire them again, but I would have to think about the extra fuel charge before I did.

I was really happy with him because all of the other emergency plumbers I contacted couldn't be here for 3 hours. Terry was able to come within a half hour. I thought the cost for the emergency call was excessive. When he was here he snaked the drain and replaced the trap, too. Everything he did needed to be done, but I thought the price was high.

The quote was about $2500. I didn’t have any issues with them. They were very responsive. They were on time; they were here when they said they were going to be here. They were very professional and I didn’t have any problem with that as well.

Repairs worked fine but to costly.

Very Good. Arrived on Time; Wrote up an estimate. I approved estimate. He had all necessary parts on his truck. He completed work. No surprises. Great job!

This company does quality work that I trust, but they have a sales-like approach that I don't like. It seems they are most concerned with protecting themselves (you have to sign a release form/agreement before they will even look at anything or give you an estimate - not touch, but just look!), and with trying to encourage you to spend more than needed. Greg was the person that came out for a leaking toilet. Ultimately, I decide to buy a new toilet from them and have it replaced that same day. The convenience was the main reason I moved forward and I knew the quality of work would be good. There was an issue with the toilet running after installation, but Greg returned the next week and corrected it. We've had no further problems. Again the work of this company is good, but I just don't like the approach and attitude. I felt more like I had a used car salesman in my home, rather than a plumber, and I didn't like the tone or approach when handling my questions. Now that I've done business with them few times, I don't plan to call again. I'll be moving on to finding other quality plumbers.

The main line had backed up, I had called Roto Rooter they came out and "cleaned" the line which was $400.00 video scope was done $100.00, the video showed a tile and roots hanging from the tile joints,I feel the roots should have all been taken care of when they "cleaned" the line. I was told it could be fixed by putting in a pipe sleeve,only guaranteed 5 years and cost of 8,500.00, See above.

They were very responsive and did a great job for me. I would use them again.

We noticed that the pipes under our kitchen sink were leaking/crumbling. We called Terry Overacker Plumbing, and they were able to send someone out the same day. While Greg arrived a little later than we were told he would, he seemed to complete the work in a timely manner and seemed very competent. While the price seemed a little high, we were happy with the work done.

My basement had flooded, and I called him in desperation to clean and dry it up. He sent a guy out who was not prepared to pump the water out. Instead, he came to clean the sewer pipe leading to the city line which had overflowed. It was misrepresentation for one thing. He did not do anything about the basement which was what I wanted him to do. He cleaned up the sewer line, but 6 weeks later it overflowed again. I called him again expecting him to redo his job satisfactorily, but he said that there would be a charge because his warranty was only for 4 weeks. I got another person to come and clean the sewer line and he charged me less than half of what Terry Overacker charged, and guaranteed the work for a year.

He is available 24/7, and he set out immediately when I called him. He replaced and cleaned up everything for me. He was responsive, professional and his pricing was reasonable.

They did a good job. I did not compare prices, but they do try to help with discounts and coupons. They showed up on time and did the work just fine.

The tub was dying and the faucet was leaking. They did everything beautifully. Everything works well. I will use this company again in the future if needed.

Six weeks after it was done it backed up again. He told me his warranty was only for 30 days, and it was two weeks beyond the 30 days. He charged me twice for cleaning out the sewer then. I felt that he misled me, I said I needed to clean up the water. A man came, and didn't have any cleaning equipment he just came to clean out the line, not the basement itself.

I called and they got me into the schedule the same day. Tony came out, he was really good about explaining the problem and some other water related problems in our laundry room. He said the leaking pipe would be fixed with the new faucet and supply lines. I thought the estimate was a bit high, but they would have charged me $50 for coming out anyway so I had them do the work. Tony had to run back to the shop for the replacement faucet. He worked fast, efficient and was very helpful.
