Sparkle Pool Service

We just bought a foreclosed home in Eden Prairie, and the pool had not been used for 2 seasons. I've never owned a pool before and don't know anything about them. Dan came out in a timely fashion and began the miracle. When we took the cover off, our pool was NASTY! It was black, full of leaves and smelled. Dan and his guy, got to work and started the transformation. They got it running, showed me what i needed to do between their service calls and gave me a pool 101 crash course. For the most part it was just a bit of elbow grease on my part with their knowledge. Except when the first weekend the pump quit! Dan answered his phone on the weekend and even sent a guy out to fix it on a Sunday, FANTASTIC service. Over the next 2 weeks, it was just me cleaning, vacuuming, and backwashing. We're 3 weeks in and i plan to go for a dip after work tonight. Amazing the transformation that has occurred! Not to mention the knowledge they have given me along the way. Sparkle is great, especially if you're willing to do a bit of the work yourself. I'm sure if you wan the VIP treatment and dont want to do any cleaning they can accommodate you, I'm new to owning a pool, but Sparkle has EARNED my business!

This is our 8th season using Sparkle. I'm just guessing we spent $500 for the season, not really sure. They are about $40 a week for service on our in-ground pool. Trust me, cheaper than buying all of those crappy chemicals yourself and spending hours scratchingy your head over your pH measurements. They use pure chlorine gas instead of those crappy pucks which is the only way to go. Nicest crew and incredibly helpful. Dan has talked me through a number of issues with equipment over the phone to help me save money for repairs. And when they have fixed stuff for me they are incredibly reasonable and do a great job. Our heater has been a thorn in my side for years trying to keep it running. They fixed it the beginning of this season and it fired up immediately every time I turned it on. I'll use them for as long as we have a pool and recommend them to anyone I know who has a pool. If you are looking for a pool service these guys are the best!

They had closed my pool in the fall. They are so nice and so caring. I probably spend about $150 for this season. They are very friendly and very available. I can call them in the morning if I have a problem and they come out the same day. My neighbour uses them and she recommended them. They do the best they can and they are reasonable.

Pool heater wouldn't start from the control panel. Called over the weekend to request service & received a call back on Monday, A.M. which was what I expected. Service could not be performed until Wednesday, which again was OK with us. Service person (Dan) came out on time and replaced the transformer, which powers the control panel. Service was fine and parts cost seemed valid, but I thought a $125 service call charge was exorbitant. I'll use someone else next time.

I was able to schedule the pool opening when it fit my time frame. I'm a new pool owner, so I had tons of questions. Prior to the opening, the office staff patiently answered all my questions and provided advice on a good pool vacuum to buy (and even the best place to buy it). During the pool opening they fixed a couple items on my pool that aren't normally included. They replaced a broken pool light that another vendor said would cost much more to fix. They've been doing the chemical service since the pool opened. I love my pool service vendor, and better yet, I trust them.

I have used Sparkle Pool Service for years and have been very pleased with their service. All the members of their team have been very easy to talk with and can answer almost any question. We opened our pool with them again this past year and discovered the motor didn't work anymore. They had one on hand at a reasonable rate (I looked around at prices after the fact) and were able to install it immediately. When I am in need of service they are quick to come out and fix the issue....and if for some reason they cannot come out promptly they will work with you and talk you through any issue to help you try to solve it yourself. I have been very pleased over the years resulting in continued loyalty to their business.

No problems whatsoever. Pool was always in great condition.

Diagnosed and replaced the pump motor efficiently. Tech was able to diagnose problem correctly over the phone. Repaired the next day as scheduled. Left the old pump motor for inspection as requested.

WE HAVE USED SPARKLE FOR 3 YEARS. THEY ARE PUNCTUAL, EASY TO WORK WITH AND COMPARATIVELY INEXPENSIVE. OUR POOL ALWAYS LOOKS GREAT. IF YOU ASK, THEY WILL TAKE THE TIME TO ANSWER AND/OR SHOW YOU HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR POOL. I THINK THEY USE A GAS CHEMICAL INSTEAD OF POWDER. IT''S WORKED FINE FOR US, BUT I HAVE HEARD PEOPLE SAY THEY DON''T WANT TO USE THIS TYPE OF CHEMICAL.
