The deck he built was cosmetically frustrating because he cut a wide seam right down the middle of it. We were so bothered by that. He built it with hardy board on the sides and trek decking. I wish we'd gone with wood. We have continuously battled severe mold problems with the deck which now requires a special chemical treatment twice a year and it's frustrating. The improper deck construction was just the beginning of the problems. In the following Spring we called him out because the caulking everywhere was falling out all around the house. Siding was falling off in spots and the surface was dreadful with the crumbling caulking and patchy paint job. He replaced caulking and repainted. The next year it was not just bad again.. but worse. We called him again but he wouldn't even deal with me again. We've been fighting since then to get a response and corrected work. The attorney general is the next step.

From the beginning inspection, it became clear this small company was employing the latest technology and strong experience to trouble shoot a poor initial installation. They appeared on time every day, even working in temps nearing 100 degrees and were courteous and flexible with our requests. Their quality and craftsmanship was outstanding. They completed the project on time and with class. They rekindled our faith in home improvement contractors. We would be pleased to recommend this fine, small contractor.
