Did a terrific job communicating with us when they would be out to give us an estimate, install the poles and install the chain link fencing. I would highly recommend this company and would use them again in the future.

Description of Work: Although final price was different than original inaccurate quote from original employee, the final job was of highest quality, completed on schedule, and looks wonderful. We will certainly use them again.

Description of Work: I had a chain link fence installed in my backyard with two gates. I had called multiple providers for estimates and North Star Fencing was the ONLY company to call me back the same day. It took other companies 3 weeks to return my calls (if they called back at all). Pricing was competitive, the team was professional and courteous, and the quality of work was outstanding. I will recommend this company for anyone looking for a quality fence.

Description of Work: They first gave a free estimate and consultation about the fence I wanted to have installed. They were very nice and extremely helpful with suggestion. The price was the lowest of the three estimates. Once the work began it was completed quickly. I would recommend this business for anyone who wants a high quality fence at a reasonable price.

Description of Work: We had a fence installed around our backyard. We found John to be very informative before we hired him. Once the work started he remained true to his price and the work promised. The crew was wonderful. Very respectful at our home, cleaned up every day. The fence is gorgeous! Northstar Fence exceeded our expectations. We would hire them again, and would definitely recommend them.

Description of Work: I contracted with North Star Fence to install black vinyl chain link fence and two gates in my back yard. I'd had an earlier estimate that was pretty high. Based on Angie's List reviews, I got a bid from North Star and signed the contract on the spot. They're a busy group, so I had to wait about three weeks, but the crews were great - called before they came, checked with me to make sure the fence was placed where I wanted it and worked efficiently. This is a friendly group to work with and I am SO pleased with my new fence (so is the dog!)

Description of Work: The whole process was excellent from beginning to end. John the owner responded to my phone message within a day and showed up on time on the designated day for the estimate. He was very cordial and answered all our questions and reviewed our options. We decided on 65 feet of six foot cedar fence with an additional 20 feet of four foot cedar fencing. We were told work would begin in three weeks (actually took four but that was just fine with us). Jeff and Brandon set the posts exactly where we wanted them and were immaculate in their clean up. Ken and Dennis came about a week later to finish the rails and pickets and did a high quality and professional job using high quality materials. The fence is beautiful and is exactly what we wanted, and is drawing rave reviews from the neighbors!

Description of Work: Extended fence around deck so our dog couldn't escape out from under it. Also removed a section of fence that wasn't in good condition, and replaced it with a new section of fence and a new gate.

Description of Work: Set 39 posts. The yard was uneven and John Newberry spend all day Saturday with another worker setting 2 and 1/2 inch diamter schedule 40 9 foot galvanized posts three feet deep into eight inch diameter holes with cement he mixed right off the back of his truck. In spite of the uneven ground, the posts were set straight and true and he set the heights and explained how to build the six foot high dog eared cedar fence to look level. Due to my budget constraints, I only had him install the posts and the gate and I built the rest myself. He was very helpful in getting me the brackets to allow metal post to wood fence connections, and even gave me some for free he had around the shop. He works dawn to dusk and was busy trying to work in my job into a narrow time frame due to my limited days available. He often was late coming over to drop off brackets or the bill, usually after a very long day, but this guy is worth the wait. the day of the job, he came early and stayed late and worked until it was finished. he takes pride in his work. He knows what he is doing, and is honest and easy to work with. I totally recommend this guy. The fence turned out great, he was willing to take my calls with all kinds of questions and taught me a lot about tricks of the trade to help my fence be beautiful and well built.
