+ -1 moreI tried his DIY recommendation and it worked. The total cost will be about $300 instead of $3,000.I HIGHLY recommend this contractor.
Description of Work: Ben came over to provide an estimate at exactly the time promised. After talking about my moisture problem he immediately identified the cause and offered several remedies. He recommended that I try one more do-it-yourself alternative before I paid the $2-3 thousand that his solution would cost.

+ -1 moreEverything went smoothly. There was a slight miscommunication between myself and Ben about R-13 and R-15 batts, but it was resolved early into the project. I think that it came about because I got the quote a few months before we were ready for the work to be performed.
Description of Work: Install styrofoam chutes from soffit to upper ceiling area. Insulate 2 X 4 roof deck area with R-15 RF batts and poly with 4 mil. vapor barrier. Install 1" certifoam on interior slant area to get R-19. Insulate ceiling area with batts and poly with 4 mil. vapor barrier. Insulate gable end house walls with R-11 batts and poly with 4 mil. vapor barrier.
