We were fraudulently charged for inept or not provided service.  They did not provide written or honored verbal estimates, and failed to repair what was billed. This company advertises online with free pickup and delivery. The owner, Jon Glassel, provided no estimate of service prior to work even after requested, but stated "we'll let you know if it's anything major". They did not. It was major. On two ATV's, one 2004 Polaris ATP 500 HO 4x4, and a 2002 Actic Cat 400 2x4, they charged $460, and $375 respectively, but failed to repair anything from the Polaris other than a tail light and ignition switch, returning the vehicle with the same "stuck clutch" while running, and creeping while in gear. They claimed to have rebuilt the carburetor, but apparently missed the needle & seat gas leak that we'd requested addressed, plus subsequently lost the carburetor overflow hose, so not only did it still leak, but now leaked on the top of the engine block, endangering my wife's life, had it even ran long enough to so. They claimed a tune up, oil change, and lube, but the oil filter on both vehicles charged this is unchanged (a professional would never do this), and the air cleaners and filters are filthy, with not even an attempt to clean them much less replace. The Arctic Cat 400 2x4 had only need of a replacement battery & oil change, but they broke parts from the carburetor during their standard "carburetor rebuild", instead of just cleaning it with solvent, and I was told on multiple occasions in the nearly month we waited for it, that it was just a minor part costing a "few dollars", and Jon Glassel told me my bill for that vehicle would not exceed $250, as it was just a battery, and minor part needed for the carburetor. His accomplice "mechanic", Tom Glexner he said his name was, claimed to not have worked on the Polaris, but affirmed to me that my total bill would actually be between $150 - $200 TOTAL, no room for interpretation, till after Jon decided to hold the vehicle hostage for $375, now claiming $160 parts + $215 labor, for essentially changing a battery, and breaking a "maybe" varnished carburetor, but with 92 octane gas, this vehicle had sat similarly every season, and started up, and ran without needing any service. At the 10 day mark, Jon Glassel actually told us the Arctic Cat was finished, and that we needed wait additionally on the Polaris. After this, and breaking his word, and delivery dates multiple times, he delivered the Polaris first, and claimed they needed to order in parts for the Arctic Cat's carburetor. Jon picked up our ATV's on 10-20-2012, and returned the last one 11-17-2012, after numerous lies, promises by Tom Glexner to fix our Polaris on our property, when dropping off the Arctic Cat. The Arctic Cat now has several missing parts (screws, tabs, maybe more), and the idle is set so high that it spins the tires without you touching the trottle. The police were called, Report # 12-256064. Jon Glassel left as Officer Moore arrived. I believe they held the Arctic Cat "hostage" so he could insure the first over the top bill $460 for almost completely failed work, would clear, then jacked the price on the Arctic Cat for shear greed / fraud. I believe this man to be scammer, and criminal, and will be filing against him in court regarding this matter should not the majority of his service bill be refunded. I would not trust them to work on a tricycle, much less an engine. This company already has an F rating on the BBB, and numerous online complaints from craigslist. The gave us back a bag of supposed parts from our Arctic Cat including a corroded needle & seat, which would be rather impossible from the inside of working vehicle with high octane gasoline, even if it were varnished. They broke every promise they made, accept being on time to pick up the work before we had a chance to find out who they were, and the one where he finally brought our vehicle back after he doubled what I was told would be my bill (after completion), and I told him that I would see him in court. He said he was fine with that if my check was good. MY check is as good as my word. Solid granite. Ultimately, I wish this company to be out of business, and Jon Glassel behind bars, but if not possible, I wish to have my money refunded, to the extent of what will now need to be fixed immediately following $835 of "service?", and nearly a month of calls, promises, lies, and deception. I wish his "mechanic" Tom Glexner, who claims to be "buying the business", to be mentioned as well, so that if he doesn't mislead, and lie to other customers, and pretend to be an honest and honorable man, while failing to come through on either labor, his word, or really anything he promised. He is also the type that promises to be somewhere, fix what was already charged for, never shows up, and forgets how to use a phone. I will file a civil suit against Jon, and because he has no respect for Civil judgements or the BBB, I will hopefully follow up in District court to make it stick.
No one should allow these individuals to have, hold, or work on anything.  I will now have to bring both vehicles in for professional repair to resolve what is still or newly damaged or inoperable.
