It didn't happen

Fantastic! Chip and his crew are awesome. From the first visit to the last detail, From The Ground Up did amazing work. Chip was always with us when we needed to choose things like counter tops, cupboards, pulls for the cupboards, tile, etc. The attention to detail and getting things right never waivered. I highly recommend the company for any remodel project. Chip seriously went above and beyond what we expected, and at a fair price. He was the only contractor we interviewed who understood the value of our home and what we could afford to put into it.

During the fall of 2013 I used John Caldwell and From the Ground Up Services to tear down a leaking all glass sunroom and replace it with a four season room. John did an excellent job of communicating with me during the pre-construction period of what to expect, including the unexpected. When work started on the demolition of the sun room it was discovered that water damage caused by the old sun room leaking into the main structure was far more extensive than could have been anticipated. John worked diligently and quickly to repair the water damage and to protect the house from further damage. Once this work was complete the construction of the new room commenced on schedule and with excellent workmanship. Costs were contained inside the budget with exception of the repair of the water damage that was not figured in the original cost. These costs could not have been anticipated by John and the amount invoiced was reasonable for the work done. Working with From the Ground Up on this project was an excellent experience, John did first-rate work, communicated with me on progress and issues and was priced fairly. I would recommend From the Ground Up without qualification.
