Cozy Insulation

He seemed to care about what he does and provided very professional customer service. It is a family run business and treats his customers like he would treat his family. He is very friendly and respectful. I would definitely refer him to anyone who needed this type of work done.

Jason was recommended to me by the roofing company we used and we are very glad they made that recommendation. He and his coworker came out and installed the blown in cellulose, fixed the venting for our bathroom fans and insulated them, insulated around the lights, and increased the insulation on the back of our access door. They arrived on time and immediately went to work. The job was completed in about 5 hours. They did a good job cleaning up. Part of the reason we needed to have the work done was due to ice dams. Jason made valuable recommendations regarding the kitchen lighting we were putting in and how it could affect the formation of ice dams. He also made recommendations regarding the soffits on our house. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I had ice dams this past year which caused leaking in my kitchen and bathroom. I called Jason on Saturday and he was able to meet with me on Sunday morning. Jason arrived on time, assessed the issue, explained what he was seeing and informed me that the insulation looked to be fine and that he didn't believe I needed to do anything. I appreciate his honesty as he could have tried to sell me something that I didn't need. If I ever do need anything, I will be sure to contact him in the future.

Jason (the owner) took the time to go into our attic (others just peaked up there). He spent a lot of time looking around and examining everything. Talk about a knowledgeable and thorough guy. He stated that due to some structural issues that needed to be addressed first he would pass on the job. Then, he still spent at least a half hour explaining everything. He is a no bs, no sales, straightforward type of person (which was very refreshing). He could have easily just said he would pass and left but he really took the time to explain everything about our attic and what types of problems we have. We had already received other bids. He clearly explained how the other proposals wouldn't work for our house until other issues were resolved. He could have easily just sold us on the job but instead explained how he would be just taking our money and we would be gaining very little. His honesty was so appreciated. He definitely saved us lots of money. He's definitely the one I will use in the future for any insulation projects.

Jason came out, was on time and very professional and knowledgable. After looking at our home, Jason gave us tips on how to prevent ice dams in the future, and told us we did not need additional insulation. My wife and I were very impressed with the service Jason provided, and very appreciative of his honesty. With our limited knowledge, someone less honest could easily have sold us insulation we didn't really need. Thank you Jason!

Jason and his coworkers installed blown in cellulose insulation in our 2200 square foot attic on one of the hottest days of the summer. They arrived on time, installed all the chutes where they could, insulated all the bathroom fans and lights, blew in the insulation, and cleaned up. He informed me that because of the angles of some parts of the roof, he would not be able to put in a chute or get insulation in completely. He said it would take a full-day and he was completed in about 3/4 of a day. I also had him add insulation to the garage at the last minute and they did that with no problem and minimal extra cost. My only minor complaint is that they had the attic closed and everything cleaned up before I got a chance to see what they had done - but I also didn't mention that I would like to see it before they were completed, so it wasn't their fault. This is the first year in our 20 years of living here that we have not had any ice dams, which is the main reason we were adding insulation. I wish we would have added additional insulation years ago.

We had an ice dam that caused water intrusion in our new old St. Paul storey and 1/2 house. An energy audit told us we had no insulation in the flooring in the attic and only minimal insulation in the crawl spaces next to the finished portion of the attic. When the water started dripping in through the ceiling on Christmas day we were pretty upset and very anxious to get the insulation taken care of as quickly as possible. Cozy insulation was able to come out the following Saturday for an estimate and was able to work us into their schedule the following week. They did a very thorough and professional job and the house is quite a bit warmer and less drafty. Their price was under the estimate provided by the energy auditor but they did everything recommended in the audit. I was very happy with the work and would recommend them without reservation.

They insulated the knee-walls on the second floor of our 1950 home. The attic had been converted to a bedroom years before. Insulation had been added then, but was inadequate. It went very smooth and as expected. Received three bids. They were in and out in one day. Cleaned up afterwards. We notice the difference in insulation. We plan to have them back to do more work.

Jason was on time for the estimate and on the installation day. The work to be performed was well spelled out on the estimate. The work was done quickly and all areas were cleaned up extremely well. Jason was very courteous and easy to work with. Working with this contractor was a very good experience.

I highly recommend Cozy. Jason was great to work with, arrived on time, was clear about his estimates and explained what needed to be done. He reviewed the energy audit report to be sure he covered what the report noted. When he did the work, he was very professional, worked quickly, cleaned everything up well. And he made sure I had the info I needed to get an energy rebate. It was a very good experience.

It went very well. Jason explained everything that needed to be done and gave us a quote. He also came back to look at everything again to make sure the recessed lights were the correct type and that we knew what to expect. He arrived on time on the day that we agreed with and worked all day. He boxed the lights in the attic, put in chutes, and blew in the insulation. They cleaned up after themselves and I couldn't even tell they were here.

Jason was very pleasant to work with. I had three people bid on the job and he was the only one to mention the rebate that would be available. He advised who to contact and helped with the paperwork after the job was complete. Very professional and easy to work with.

Jason was great to work with! Prompt arrival for both the bid and the job. When he left there was no messy trail of insulation or dirty boots to indicate he'd been there - just a warmer home for us to enjoy. He explained about the energy rebate we could qualify for and even had all the paperwork for the rebate ready for us. We just needed to add our account number, sign it and mail it. My husband appreciated that when Jason was done with the work he invited him to get up on the ladder and look in the attic to see if he was happy with everything. Since my husband had been in the attic about a month before we called Jason it was easy to see Jason's good work. It was a pleasure to hire such a hardworking pleasant independent businessman! They showed up on time, and did a good job adding blown-in cellulose insulation in the attic. They even checked an area for leaks for us where we had previously had a problem (not in their job description, but kind of them to help out). Price was good and they were efficient at what they did. I'd give them a B+ for clean-up, but with the blown in insulation I expected to have to dust afterwards. Overall I'm very happy with the service.

Jason and his crew did a great job. It took them a little over two hours, they cleaned up after they were finished and he filled out the rebate paperwork for me as well so I was able to just mail it off.

Came to my home promptly to make a bid.All the others mentioned that there was a $350 rebate available but Cosy was the only one who said that it had to be done before the job. Arranged for the audit which I go a week or so later. The audit was done on Aug 28 so I called Cosy and said we were ready for the work. Friday was the best day for us and he suggested the next Friday, Aug 31. On Friday the Cosy team arrived at about 9:15 and installed 15 soffit intakes, sealed all the by passes and added 11 inches of insulation to the attic, cleaned up thoroughly and were gone before noon.

Jason came out for a free estimate and then I scheduled work with him about 2 months later. The bedroom was finished by the previous owners and an energy audit (following very high utility bills) revealed poor insulation--Jason quickly diagnosed these problems at the estimate and explained what he would do and why it would work.He cut access holes in my attic knee walls, and insulated my attic bedroom and put perfectly matched, wood trimmed panels where he cut the access holes. I was particularly happy that I didn't have to do any painting or finishing work after he finished up the job.It was easy to schedule and Jason had the the best price. Very happy with the service and would definitely use him in the future.

Cozy came out for a estimate on the day I called them. We agreed on a price which was considerably less than other estimates I had. We agreed on a date one week for the work one week later. They came on time and did the work in a professional manner. Cleaned up after themselves.

Outstanding! Jason really is a down to earth guy who understanding customer service. He did a great job with clean up and also repaired a closet door that they had broke (and told me about it) at his cost. I have already recommended him to 5 of my friends.

Not much to tell, they came, did the job beyond my expectations, and left - all with minimal disruption.

Jason was very easy to communicate with, in phone, via email, and in person. Of the 3 estimates we received to update our attic insulation, he was the only person to invite us into the attic and show us what he'd do. His price was better than the other estimates, and he was the only one who told us about an available Xcel Energy rebate - he even filled out the form for us. He scheduled our insulation install, and showed up 30 minutes early. He was very polite, answered all questions, and vacuumed when done. We are very happy with his service.
