The provider came on the agreed upon day and did a great job. They edged the grass on the side of the driveway to ensure they could do the whole driveway from edge to edge. The job was done well and in a professional manner. I would and will use them again in the future. Thanks!!!

I had my driveway sealcoated by Blackjacks Sealcoating using an Angie's List offer. I'm very happy with the work and with how Barry communicated with me. He called me promptly and said he would try to have the driveway sealcoated within the next 7-10 days, depending on weather. Within that timeframe, he called me to let me know he would be out the following day. I am very happy with the quality of their work and I would definitely use them again.

They were professional, punctual and did a nice job. They took the time needed. It wasn't rushed through.

It went very well. He was very trustworthy and kind. He gave me an estimate and then it cost exactly what he said. He did a nice job prepping and applying. The cracks did start to open up within a few days and I called to ask what I should do and he came back and reapplied sealer to them without any charge or issue.

The timing was good. They were professional.

Worked with Barry to find a date that worked for me and weather conditions. Spent time to trim grass, prep, fill in cracks and apply hot sealant. Looks great and would recommend.

We had trouble contacting Barry initially but I believe this was an issue with Angieslist. Once we made contact, Barry was very responsive. Barry visited my address ahead of time to make sure that the conditions of my driveway would be appropriate for the deal. I appreciated that he took time out to do a preliminary visit because I don't like surprise charges on the day of the appointment. My driveway was a little over the square footage included, but Barry was willing to include the extra area which I very much appreciated. My home was scheduled for the 10am-12pm window but the crew did not arrive until around 5pm. This was an inconvenience to me because I initially had a professional commitment at 11am that I kept pushing back and finally had to reschedule. Fortunately the person that I was obligated to had flexibility in their schedule. I was surprised that Barry called in the evening to follow up. (Irresponsible companies won't follow up on issues after the job has been completed and you kinda have to chase them down. This company was not like that.) He asked me what time the crew actually showed up and apologized for this miscommunication. He explained that he had given his crew instructions to do things a certain order but they did it opposite. He said that he would talk to the crew lead who was actually a family member to make sure this doesn't happen again. While waiting for the crew was a little stressful, I understand that this kind of thing will happen from time to time. If this company had constant complaints about punctuality that would be a different story. In my communications with Barry, he seemed like a genuinely nice guy that wanted to make sure he was providing great service. Although they arrived late, his family member did a great job on the driveway. They went through and covered the cracks first. Some areas that they could not properly seal because of the repair work required first, they warned me about head of time and I was in agreement with their assessment. They still did what they could to seal over it. They coated the driveway thoroughly. They also put the thicker rubber stuff at the top and bottom boundary of the driveway (I don't know what you call that stuff). In doing my driveway for the last several years, I noticed that not everyone adds that, but this company did.

Barry, the owner, gave me the best customer service I think I have ever had! The crew showed up right on time on the day they scheduled with me. they were very prompt and spent the time it took to prep my drive way before they even started the drive way.They trimmed the grass on the edge of the driveway and raked up the leaves. They were quiet, no loud talk or loud music . they cleaned up everything and all they left behind was a beautifully done driveway! I also could not be more pleased with how professional Barry was, he explained everything he was going to do, why, when,and then he did exactly what he said, I was not charged anything extra beyond the original quote. I will recommend him to all my friends and family!
