They did a great job. They were able to come within 24 hours and the person who came was very nice. He was also able to take care of everything right without having to come back later or order parts. We also thought the price was reasonable.

Service went well. Air Comfort called me about 15 minutes after I'd made the appointment for two days from now and told me they could have someone over immediately. Joe arrived within about 20 minutes and checked out my A/C. Joe was very pleasant and took care of the A/C and added Freon. Service was done pretty quickly.

My old central a/c unit gave up the ghost during a particularly hot stretch in the late summer of 2013. I had service coverage with CenterPoint, but they wouldn't have been able to take a look for several days. I searched Angie's List for local companies, and Air Comfort was immediately available. The technician tried installing a new capacitor in the old unit, in the hope that that would do the trick, but was unsuccessful. He recommended a new unit, and as the old one used a no-longer-manufactured coolant, I agreed. We ordered it, and two more technicians came to install it the next day. It all went very smoothly, and the new unit works as it should, with the added benefit of using less energy than the old unit. Because of Air Comfort's prompt service, I dropped my a/c coverage with CenterPoint, and I'll likely give Air Comfort a call when it comes time to get a new furnace.

Jim and his team were great. I called Jim at air comfort to schedule an estimate for the purchase and install of a boiler for our in floor heating in our lower levwl. Jim showed up to the estimate on time and was very knowledgable about the install process, as well as product knowledge. His price was very reasonable and also informed me of a rebate throught CenterPoint that no other company informed us about. we hired Aircomfort are are now

I called Jim and he met with me the next day to give me a estimate. He was on time and very professional and helped me decide what was the best product for the price to go with. His sales process was informed but not pushy. He was able to schedule the installation the very next day. The next day was a very bad snow storm and the two guys performing the installation were understandably detained due to traffic and they called me to let me know they were going to be late. They were very good at the installation and did not make a mess. I just had the city inspection of their work yesterday and it passed no problem. I would call Air Comfort for any heating or cooling needs.

Joe was very prompt and discussed having the main trunk cleaned, which he did. I was planning on doing the returns, but he was honest and said they didn't look too bad and to wait on them. I would use this service again!

The first thing the installer said was, "This furnace can't be installed here." then he called his project manager who sold us the system, got instructions and installed the system correctly.

When I called Friday evening to schedule someone to come out, I asked if it would cost extra to come out on a weekend, and of course it was. The offered to put us on the schedule for Monday morning, so we did that. The technician came and after looking at and testing the A/C unit, found there was a hole in something, can't remember what, coil maybe, that the refrigerant was leaking out of. He had no idea how much it would cost since he had never seen that problem before, so he contacted the owner. He filled the A/C with refrigerant so we could use it if we needed to and told us the owner, Jim, would contact us, which he did later that day. He told us the part that needed to be fixed was almost as expensive to replace as a new unit and it wouldn't be here for a couple weeks. He also tried really hard to get it covered by the warranty since it had just been over 10 years and the reason for the hole was the way the unit was made, but the company wouldn't do it since we had just had warranty work done in June. So, he gave us prices for a few different units, the pros and cons of each, and told us to think about it and get back to him. We called him later that day and told him we decided to have a new unit installed. He scheduled someone to come out the next day and install the new A/C. They came when we were at work and everything was done by the time we got home. We couldn't even tell they were here except for the new A/C unit.

I called Air Comfort back about 4 days after they replaced the inducer motor to report that the furnace is starting to make the same noise again. Additional diagnostic testing confirmed that the blower motor was making the noise as the bearings appear to be worn. The technician was able to replace the motor right after the diagnostic testing. The work was performed quickly and the technician was kind and professional. The furnace appears to be running much smoother and quieter. The technician also recommended that I consider getting the air ducts and A-coil cleaned as that A-coil is partly plugged. He provided a quote for that service. I was pleased with the service I received.

Per recommendation from technician from earier appointment I decided to have air ducts cleaned as it has been over 5 years since it was last done and I have several animals in my household. The tecnician, Joe called when he was on his way and provided approximate arrival time. Joe explained the process and provided approximate time it would take to complete. The work was done as quietly as it could be done and during the process I could just smell the dust and when complete the air was so much cleaner. The furnace sounded like it was running quieter as well. Joe was very professional, personable and took the time to answer my questions. Great service, glad I had this work performed.

Right when the outside temperatures dropped I started to notice that in the evenings it appeared that the furnace was making more noice which was never a problem before. I called to schedule appointment and they put me on the schedule the next avaialble time. The technician, Joe called to notify me in the morning when he was on his way and approximate arrival time. Joe was very professional, personable and helpful in answering my questions. He listened as I tried to describe the noise I was hearing and when I was noticing it, more so in the evenings. Joe went to run diagnosic check and when complete he did inform me that the inducer motor was running hot however he couldn't replicate the noiise which I described earlier and clearly stated that it could be something else in addition to inducer motor that was running hot. Joe placed order for replaceement part and made plans for installation the following day. Again, he called me in the morning when he was on his way. Joe explained approximately how long it would take and that he would let me know when finised as I was working from home that day. The work was completed in a timely manner. Joe was very helpful and professional, a good representative for the company.

We knew we were going to have to replace our furnace and A/C when we moved into our home based on the inspection. We decided to do it this year, and decided to get a Trane (well, my wife really wanted a Trane). We called several installers, and Air Comfort was able to come out and provide an estimate. They took the time to understand our concerns (uneven heat/cool in 2-story), did plenty of measurements and recommended the appropriate size of both furnace and AC. Was able to get installed within a week! Many reviews say that installation is 80% of a successful Furnace and A/C install (that may be high, but I knew it was at least just as important as the brand). Air Comfort Heating and Air Conditioning was very professional and did an excellent job inside and out. They were clean, tested everything, and made sure we understood all the settings. All in all, (well so far) we are very pleased. The AC is working much better than the old one. We'll see how well the furnace does later this year.

To do all over again, I wish I would have replaced it before it was redtagged so our furnace as was could not be turned on. The early winter hit and it was very chilly in the house. Do always have a larger credit card emply for purchases like this can be made without hardship around the holidays. So Jim (I think is his name or Tom the owner.) is excellent to work with in that he is very concerned about his clients and able to work with them on payment so they keep their water heater and furnace running.

Overall i was very happy with the service

On Friday afternoon at 4:30, we discovered that our A/C unit was not cooling. A call was placed to our regular service provider, but they couldn't come out till next week. We found the information on Air Comfort Heating and Air Systems and were pleased with the reception we received from Christi - especially since we were new customers and it was late Friday afternoon. She dispatched a technician and we had a follow up call from the technician to let us know he was on his way. On his arrival, we learned he was the owner of the company. Talk about service. He was thorough in his assessment of our system and unfortunately it was just too old to be saved. James was thorough in discussing our options were and after reviewing those options, we decided to replace both our A/C unit and furnace with a more efficient unit. We were thrilled to learn that he could have his technicians here on Monday morning at 7:30 am. Monday came and his technicians arrived right as promised. The two technicians who performed the service were clean cut, knowledgable, respectful of our property, and quickly got to work. They laid down tarps to protect our floors and when they left the house was a clean as when they arrived. The technicians did a great job of keeping us informed of their progress and later that morning the owner, James, stopped by to check on their progress. By 3:00 we had cool air running through our system. When it came time to pay, the bill was exactly was the estimate was. No hidden surprises. We couldn't have been more happy with our experience with Air Comfort Heating and Air Systems and look forward to using them for our regular service in the future. I must say their customer service really stands out and we have already referred them to several of our neighbors without hesitation.

Tom got there on time, was very friendly but went right to work and they worked from 7:30am until 5pm, did a great job, cleaned up and explained how to work everything very clearly. Very impressed with the two gentleman who worked on everything.

I had a do-it-yourselfer install dryer venting for my furnace exhaust and had it go through a wall with no clearance. I had this company come out to give me a quote on replacing the dryer venting with grade b piping. The price was good, and I was told that getting a power venting furnace and hot water heater was another choice I had. My only complaint was that the person providing the quote did not look in my attic where part of the venting that had to be replaced was. This made me feel like he was pushing for the sale on the furnace and hot water heater.

I don't remember how much they charged me for the services. They were very professional. They were very clean and well organized. They finished the job within the scheduled time. They explained everything to me thoroughly. They were very courteous. They recommended me a cheaper unit than what I wanted, and they told it would work better. They were very good. They came within a day of the estimate and finished the work. I guess their price was good and I will use them again in the future.

They were on time for the estimate and work. They made suggestions on how to equalize temperatures between two floors (works great). They were very neat and clean while doing the work, and I am very satisfies. The heater is not required yet, but our air conditioner now cycles. It keeps the entire house comfortable due to the extra returns that where recommended and installed.

We received an estimate from the owner, Jim. Estimate cost was in line with the other estimates we had received. Set up a date for them to do the install. Two technicians came, they were very professional, polite, worked hard and did exactly what was promised. The owner stopped by in the middle of the install to make sure everything was going according to plan. The install was completed in the time frame promised and the house was as neat as it was when they arrived.

I received a fair estimate, and setup a time to go forward with the work the next week. The technicians showed up on time and ready to get started. They proceed to rip out my old furnace and put the new one in place. They worked at keeping duct work sealed, vent lines in order and any wiring neat and clean. They worked until they got things done and did not rush things along, they stayed until 10:00pm to get the job complete.

I called them on March 30th and they returned my call. They came out the next day in a storm (we live in Clear Lake) and went through everything and explained the problems and what needed to be done. He also gave me an estimate and scheduled the work to be done the next day. The crew was great and went through everything when they were done. Areas were left neat and clean.

Overall, it went very well. They arrived on time their wasn't any delays they helped us work out some issues with the air exchanger had to get placed in a certain area so he helps figure out a way to do it with so little space in the room.

Outstanding!! Joe was here slightly ahead of his scheduled time, finished right on time and left not so much as a footprint behind. He exercised extreme care to make certain that he didn't disturb anything and was very careful about tracking snow/dirt into the house.

We were very, very impressed by their work. They performed the work on the date planned, and the crew arrived punctually at 8 AM. They worked quietly and efficiently, they were polite when we spoke, they persevered into the evening even though a blizzard came sweeping in! The outdoor work was much more difficult in our 14" thick old walls requiring the guys to go in and out many times while the snow piled up all around. Even though I advised the men they could leave early because of the weather, they stayed in order to complete the job. They finished up at 9:30 PM and left the area neat. The next day the owner came out to replace a cracked part. We were extremely pleased with their perseverance and professionalism.
