We are a full service heating and air conditioning contractor who is licensed, bonded, and insured. We provide free no obligation estimates and are available 24 hours a day for emergency services on all brands. An authorized Trane Comfort Specialist dealer who is N.A.T.E. certified, a member of the BBB with an A+ rating and an Angie’s List Super Service Award recipient. Financing is available plus Visa, Master Card, Discover and personal checks are accepted for payment. Other services we provide: Rotobrush Duct Cleaning, Maintenance Agreements, live operator for your after hour emergencies. Description of Work: I was getting a constant water trickle (but making puddles) in my basement. |Called just to see if they could investigate. He did exactly as I asked and gave me advice on what kind of company I should hire to do more investigating, because he could not tell for sure where it was coming from without tearing out drywall,etc. He was very courteous and I was pleased just to get the first step out of the way. In the process of looking for the source of the water he checked the pump on the furnace. He informed me that the company that installed the furnace should still have a warranty on it, if that was the problem. I appreciated the info. However, when I did have the company that installed it come out, they found that the hose that connects to the pump was left off which would explain the increase in water flow between the time I hired Air Comfort and the installing company.

Description of Work: We had them come out to give us an estimate on a Trane furnace. The salesman was here for over 2 hours. We felt he was trying to sell us more than a replacement furnace. The reason we decided not to go with them was that the other place that gave us an estimate was approximately $200 or so less, plus they weren't trying to sell us more than what we wanted. They sent someone who worked on furnaces and very knowledgeable whereas this place sent a salesman.

Description of Work: AC stopped working on my rental property and had them come out to repair. I bought Angie's list special for the service call. The technician needed to take the unit apart to check coil for leaks which would be charged hourly rates, and I decided to get the unit replaced. I got an estimate but decided to go with a cheaper unit from another company. Overall good experience, and would recommend them.

We called Jim when our central air unit sounded like a truck using its ''Jake Brake''. When we called his shop at 10:30PM on a Thursday night, we were shocked when he picked up the phone and got us on the schedule. He quickly identified the problem & said that he could fix it. We asked Jim for his frank assessment as to whether or not we should replace the unit. He advised replacing the system due to its age (house was built in 1962 & this was original equipment). We had been thinking about putting in a heat pump & Jim did a great job of answering our questions & directing us to folks who could give us more detailed answers if we desired. We greatly appreciated Jim's patience with us, and throughout this entire process (as well as other times we've used his service) he treated us like we were the only customers that mattered. I am certain that he treats all of his customers, as well as he treated us. We are very impressed with Jim and would recommend him without hesitation.
Description of Work: Replaced our 44 year old furnace and central air unit with a new furnace w/ variable speed fan, central air unit and heat pump. Jim & his crew did a great job of installing the duct work, exhaust and air returns needed to bring things up to current code. They sensed our apprehension about cutting holes in the walls, inside and out. They were extremely careful about not making a mess and did a thorough job of cleaning up after themselves when they left. I didn't see a single scrap of ''stuff'' left behind when they finished after completing the install (which was done entirely in one day).

JIM WAS EXCEPTIONALLY FAST IN RESPONDING TO OUR CALL AND TALKED US THROUGH OUR OPTIONS WITHOUT OUR FEELING ANY SORT OF PRESSURE. WE WERE MOST IMPRESSED IN HIS WILLINGNESS TO TAKE ON THE ADDED CHORE OF MAKING THE ORDERS FOR US AND THEN FOLLOWING UP TO ENSURE THAT WE GOT THE ITEM(S) ORDERED. HE DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB IN TAKING THE TIME TO SHOW US WHY OUR OLD PRE-FILTERS GAVE UP THE GHOST & HOW WE SHOULD CARE FOR THE NEW ONES. HE ALSO TOOK THE TIME TO EDUCATE US ON HOW TO CARE FOR AND WHEN TO REPLACE THE DISPOSABLE FILTERS.
Description of Work: WE WERE HAVING A DIFFICULT TIME GETTING REPLACEMENT PRE-FILTERS FOR OUR FURNACE & AC SYSTEM. WE CALLED JIM ''OUT OF THE BLUE'' AND TALKED TO HIM ABOUT OUR PROBLEM. HE CAME TO THE HOUSE, FIGURED OUT THE CORRECT PRE-FILTERS WE NEEDED AND ASKED IF WE WANTED THEM ORDERED. WE DID AND SO HE ORDERED THEM FOR US AND THEY FIT PERFECTLY. HE ALSO HELPED US FIND THE CORRECT SIZE DISPOSABLE FILTERS AND AGAIN ASKED IF WE WANTED HIM TO ORDER SOME FOR US. WE DID AND SO HE ORDERED THESE, TOO AND HAD THEM DIRECT SHIPPED TO THE HOUSE.
