While in the process of deciding who we wanted to pick, phone calls, and e-mails were promptly answered. Once we signed the contract and gave our down payment - nothing. There was an issue of possibly not being able to have the stain that we picked out, so we told them if that was the case to please call us, and we would come down and pick out something else. That never happened. They never let us know that it was not the stain that we picked out until the day before the cabinets were to be installed (we had a completion date written in the contract). When we went down to look at the cabinets, we couldn't believe what we saw - they looked awful!!! And you would have thought that they would have only done one cabinet or a piece of wood, but no, they did all of them. This is from a company that we dealt with about 12 years ago and were very happy - but not now!! So to correct the problem the next step that they took was to try and sand and fix them. That didn't work. Finally, new doors and drawer fronts were made and stained, but with a stain that we had to just settle on, instead of something like we wanted in the beginning. The cabinets are made very well, and in the end they tried hard to make it right. I'm know that if they would have called us and we could have taken care of everything right at the beginning, my review would have been a lot different. When everything was finally done it was one month past the agreed install date! Yes, all of this cost the company extra money, but none of this was our fault, we kept telling them (our communication to them) "if you don't have the stain, let us know". We have a new kitchen, but with all of the hassle that we had to go through, it wasn't the experience that we were hoping for. The young man/men that installed the cabinets in the end were great - to bad that can't be said for everything/everyone!
