Today's Window Fashions

Description of Work: This was for two blinds ( Large) and we decided for one of the bedrooms to go with A top quality blind and for the other bedroom a very good brand but not the top. Jon at Today's Window Fashions was more than helpful and very patient while we changed our minds 3 times, but finally decided on the right product and are very satisfied with our decision.

Description of Work: Initial meeting with Jon Schmitz where we discussed what was the best color, price and needs for room. Brought many samples to choose from which helped me with my selection. Jon was also very knowledgeable about the material, price and color of his product which helped me decide which one to purchase. Also, the positioning of the blinds helped when I didn't know that it could be done that way. I was very pleased. The blinds were ordered and came within 3 weeks and were put up quickly and professionally. I was very impressed by the way Jon and the other employees worked so quickly. I am extremely pleased with the results and my new blinds and would definitely use them again. Thanks Jon for a worry free purchase!

Description of Work: Measured and in 4 weeks installed 3 blinds on bay window. Beautiful job. I have asked for written quotes on bedroom windows twice, but to date do not have them. That is my only complaint with this company.

Description of Work: No services were performed. We initially had an appointment to have them come to the house for an estimate on August 12. On August 11 in the late afternoon we got a email saying they needed to reschedule. We agreed on August 26th between 10am and 11am. By 1:00pm on the 26th I had not received any notification of any kind, no one had showed up, no phone call, no email. Later that afternoon I had a voicemail from a completely different person saying that he had written the date down wrong and could we reschedule. I had left a voicemail and an email for my original contact person, Jeff, on the 26th and have yet to get any response from him. We were not impressed at all and will not be doing business with this company.

Description of Work: The cost was double what I would pay at a store. He said they only had brand of the style I wanted, so that drives up the price. He was very nice about it and said I could get my money back.

Description of Work: Initial appointment cancelled because samples were not in the office. I had to do most of the calling. A week later went to their office and looked at samples. We were told that installation would be free. I called again 3 days later (they forgot to call me). Told me there would be a $125 charge for measuring and installing. First I had heard of that. I expected to pay $100 for about $300 worth of a single-window shade. Instead, it would have cost much more. Their guy didn't tell me that installation is free only if you spend $1000.

Description of Work: A very good company, they will have a contractor that does work for them. He will come to my house and fix my curtain.

Description of Work: I met Jeff at the MN Home and Garden Show. He followed up with a phone call the following week to set up a free in-home consultation to help us replace window treatments as we remodeled our home. Jeff was timely, professional, and knowledgeable. I appreciated his expertise and suggestions as we started the process of replacing window coverings for our living room, dining room, master bath and basement patio. Jeff was very patient and responded to questions promptly with both calls and emails as we mulled over the many choices before us. After reviewing several different options with four different vendors, we chose to order Hunter Douglas products with Today Window Fashions. Jeff was down-to-earth and not pushy, seemed trustworthy. His pricing was excellent as he was willing to meet his competitors' pricing.
