Kelly and his helper did a great job installing our tile! We had approximately 400 square feet installed and it looks awesome. We were trying to get our floor completed before Christmas and Kelly was able to get it done. Thank you very much!!!

Kelly did a wonderful job installing our intricately designed marble backsplash. He was professional and personable. Kelly doesn't work with glass tile so we ended up taking back the tile we initially selected and replaced it with stone. Very satisfied with the finished results. We asked him several times to redo small sections because of the variation in the tile but he was very pleasant about our requests. He went way out of his way to track down the tile we needed to substitute for the tile we returned in order to be done for our New Year's Party. But he came through and pulled some strings to get what we needed. We are very grateful for the extra effort.

Kelly was up front about cost from the beginning. No hidden surprises. He also measured and estimated in a few minutes, and came after work hours. Great experience from beginning to end!

They finished the project on our tight - timeline. He spent time educating us on how the tile would be installed based on the tile we selected, how to care for the tile and grout and offered up suggestions on grout color, placement of inserts and recommendations on some additional pieces we needed. He took care of working with the Tile Shop to ensure that the right products, amounts and pieces were ordered based on what we picked out. They were extremely courteous in our home - they kept the space well protected during the project and left it spotless when they left. They were very friendly as well. I noted "N/A" on price as we did not receive other quotes for for this project. The cost was in line with our expectations though. His bid was extremely detailed and we understood every aspect of the bid. We did have some add on costs, per our request, and he detailed those charges out before proceeding. He ran into some 'complications' in the guest bedroom bathroom but adjusted at no extra cost to us. He worked hard, and provided great suggestions. We will definitely hire him again for future work.

The entire job went very well. Kelly is easy to work with with good ideas. I would use his company again and refer to others.

We had our idea of what we wanted to do and he just didn’t seem like he wanted to work with our idea. I don't know how to explain, but I just don't think I could have worked with him. I would never use him in the future

It went very well. I, the homeowner, assisted by removing the tiles in advance, thus also saving some money. Kelly is a very nice person and does what he says he will do plus. He is a true pro.

The provider responded quickly to my outreach for an appointment. We missed paths, so I hired another contractor. The provider did follow up to offer services and was professional. I would consider this contractor in the future for tile work.

This was a job with much uncertainty due to type of subfloor and very uneven previous poorly done tile job in bathroom. Many unknowns before floor was tore up. The 44 square ft bathroom floor ended up needing four bags of leveler and Kelly prepared cracks and holes so there was no seepage of the leveler. Finally a level floor and straight tile with no lippage like before. There was a couple of spots on the grout that didn't quit look right when I got a closer look after he left. He was glad to come back out and take a look and all it required was a little tool to scrape off something and then it looked like the rest. Provider was patient with me while I checked out the products he used to make sure they were low or no voc as I'm chemically sensitive. He was kind enough to do an extra step on something and used some epoxy paint that I didn't know about and it had a strong chemical odor, but thankfully that odor went away. Kelly cares about quality work and products and pricing was comparable to another bid that I got. Only downside was choice of gray grout colors with the Custom Building brand grout. I wanted to try to match closer to the Laticrete Silver Shadow grout that I had on the bathroom walls to go with floor tile but I ended going with Snow White which looks good and bright but I still wish there would of been a gray especially where we had to add a partial shower tile towards the floor. Overall he tackled a difficult horrible tile job that a general contractor did, so please get a tile person the first time as I've learned my lesson the hard way. Especially if you have only one toilet!

Very quickly returned initial call. We live in a high-rise with lots of rules. The first day was a bit delayed as he had left his cellphone at home which made communication between us slow. Once he got setup he was very neat and efficient. Works alone.

Our project went very well. First off, Kelly contacted me during the evening, the day I submitted my request via Angie's list. He was heading out on vacation, but contacted me to let me know that, plus to tell me we could have his trusted colleague come out and give us a bid while he was out. After we accepted the bid, Kelly communicated with us on the the tile ordering and timing of the project in relation to his other projects. He recommended great tile stores that I otherwise would not have found. Once the work started, things went very smoothly, even though we discovered some surprises after demolition. I really appreciated him coordinating with the plumber and dry wall expert - he essentially played the role of general contractor, which made my life so much easier. As to the tile itself, Kelly did a fantastic job. He is a perfectionist when it comes to laying tile. He makes sure things are done right the first time and he pays attention to the smallest details. I would definitely hire him again.

He was very good and excellent. He does everything with precision, he is considerate and he manages things well. He is very particular, very professional and he is very, very good, Everything fit properly and everything looked excellent.

Kelly and one assistant did a wonderful job installing a tile backsplash in our kitchen. Their attention to detail was impressive. A few of the tiles were a bit darker than the rest and looked out of place. We didn't really notice this, but once Kelly pointed it out we agreed. He took it upon himself to the tiles. His attention to the way the tile pattern was laid out over the entire wall was great. The job was done efficiently and cost exactly what was quoted.

Kelly did a great job and we are very happy with his work. He knows what works well and we used that knowledge in tile selection and grout color. We didn't think 20X20 would work in our foyer being that it was not a large space. Kelly's eye for those details made the space look great. We have other tile projects coming in our kitchen and we plan to get Kelly involved again. Project took 4-days.

Kelly did a great job. He is very passionate about his work. He was a great help in suggesting types of tile/grout color. If it wasn't for him I may have a grout with a PINK tint. I picked a grout that was very wrong and Kelly made sure I did make that mistake. He really cares about the end result.

Kelly was a pleasure to work with. He returned our calls promptly. His advice and recommendations to us on several tiling option open to us were spot on. He worked quickly but the job was very professional. He lived up to all his promises. The key thing is that he was on time, he didn't waste time, he recommended several changes based on his experience, he completed the job, he cleaned up and his price was very competitive. We have received several complements from friends on the quality of the installation job. I have some other projects involving tile installation I will use him again.

It went well. Kelly and assistant provided a detailed bid (not what I received from another company), arrived on time, completed job and cleaned up everything. I did not realize there would be as many decisions as there were (pattern, size and placement of shower cubby to hold products etc.). Kelly explained the different options and pros and cons to each option. One thing I would say is that Kelly is picky. Things I would think are 'good enough' he would want to point out and offer better options and why. When it came time to pay, Kelly stuck to bid with no extra surprises. Overall, I found Tile and Style to be reasonably priced and honest. I would definitely hire or recommend.

Kelly and his team did a great job. We felt that we were given a fair price and were explained all of our options clearly. Things were done in a timely manner and the results were great. Would recommend if you are looking for someone to tile your home.

I did a search of Angie's list for three contractors to contact, and Tile and Style was among my choices based on reviews. Ironically, he was also referred to us from another contractor who was aware of his quality work. Kelly was punctual, pleasant, and professional. He came to our home for the measure, the bid, and fully explained what he proposed to do, the time frame, etc. We accepted his bid. His policy is to start and finish a job rather than jump from one project to another. When our countertops were installed I contacted Kelly to schedule the tile project. He arrived on time, worked diligently and cleaned up at completion. There was a problem with our small tiles matching up (we had purchased them independently) and required extra time to figure it out, i.e. a puzzle. He took the challenge head-on and did an awesome job. The next day he returned to grout and do a final cleanup. We are very pleased will hire again.
