We hired them after finding them on Angie’s List. The work turned out fine. He did exactly what he said he was going to do. He cleaned up well after himself and was very timely.

I called Monday morning for a quote. The owner (Walt) was at the property later that morning with a quote and some recommendations. The work was completed later that afternoon. Several trees were cut down and other trees had low hanging branches removed. All the trees, branches, and leaves were cleaned up and loaded on a trailer. This company is professional. The work was completed on time and for the quoted price. I will be using Living Water Tree Service again.

This is a real family business. Showed up with father, mother and children (teenagers and younger). Worked professionally did all that was contracted and more. Cleaned up well and removed waste branches, etc. Hard workers! Nice people and would recommend this company for any similar work in this area.

I contacted Walt because he is close to me and the several good reviews on this site. He warned me that due to the recent storm the work would need to be about 2 weeks out. He came and gave me an estimate, called in two weeks, set a date and performed the work with no issues. I was not home during most of his work, when I arrived his crew was almost done. Walt made sure I was satisfied with the work before leaving. He and his crew did a great, professional job and I would use him again.

After reading the reviews on Angie's list Walt was my first call - and he turned out to be my only call. I called him for a quote and he happened to be in the area. He came out and ended up doing the work on the spot. Great service and I plan on having him come out and do some more work in the future.

very prompt did a nice job on the tree and the clean up. We went elsewhere on another tree because the price was a little high.

He is obviously affiliated with a deeply religious church (hence the Living Waters name) and considers his work as a duty to God, which he takes very seriously. He and his son were meticulous in trimming every tree and bush exactly the way we wanted it, took out all the dead branches, and when they were done cleaned up after themselves and left our lawn and driveway "as though it never even happened", to quote the commercial for ?? We called about getting a bid on the work we needed done and Walt was able to come out later that day. He want over the things we want done and made some suggestions for other questions we had. We decided a few days later that we wanted to have him do the work and called he was able to set set a date a week later. He show up on time the day scheduled and reviewed job with me and discussed some questions about the job. He got started after telling me what was to be done first and then what sequence for everything else. During the day a few things came up and he did a great job of keeping us informed. Everything was done as we wanted some extra was handled. The cleanup was great and everything looked great when he was finished and we were happy with the result. We would use them for future projects.

Quick, clean, and efficient. Walt showed up at the appointed hour, removed three large spruce, cleaned the yard, and removed all of the trunk and branches. Will recommend to friends in the future.

Walt was a pleasure to deal with. He remained in contact with me as we worked out the times near the Thanksgiving holiday. Price, quality, responsiveness, punctuality all A's across the board. A++ for professionalism and being able to to make those types of cuts with that chainsaw and get those trees to go the way they did. I won't hesitate to call Walt again if needed, and will send him whatever business I can down the road. Thanks for the excellent work!!!

After a major wind storm, we discovered a huge branch had fallen on our roof. We looked on Angie's list for a tree service near our home in Andover and someone who had good ratings. We found Walt. I called and he answered immediately and he said he could come out that very day! He came as promised and removed the tree branch without damaging the roof. He charged a very reasonable price and we couldn't be happier with the service he provided!

Walt from Living Water Tree Service was on time for the estimate and the job. He is very friendly and knowledgable. The work he did was excellent and he was very meticulous with the clean up. I would not hesitate to call Living Water Tree Service the next time. I really trusted his work and honest pricing.

I have used Living Water Tree Service two times. The first was last October, when Walt Witzke, a certified arborist, checked all of my trees. An oak tree had several branches hanging low over my neighbor's driveway. Walt trimmed the lower branches, then moved on to trimming the dead branches in the front and back yards. While Walt was working in the back, I asked the neighbor if he was happy with the raised oak. He said he would like one more branch removed, and when Walt was done in the back, I asked him to talk to the neighbor. Walt then took the additional branch off of the tree, making the neighbor very happy. I had Walt come back in June to shape a seriously overgrown evergreen tree, that had also had some storm damage a few years ago. He took an evergreen blob and turned it into a pretty tree! Clean up both times was excellent. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing tree service.

I could not be happier or more pleased with the quality of Walt's work. The price was good but the quality was exceptional. He came right out for the estimate and had the job done when he said he would. My only concern - and this is after the fact and after it's settled in a bit - is that Walt mentioned he had his kids working with him and his wife. Not knowing the kids ages, I'm not sure how I feel about this. Walt did mention the kids played with my dogs a bit and I'm assuming this was done through the fence. Obviously everything went well - no one was hurt, the dogs didn't get out, nothing was broken - and the kids were supervised, but I'm not sure how I feel about it. Still, I wouldn't hesitate to call Walt for any tree work.

--Called for a quote; he came out right away that day. --His quote was $200-$500 less than the competitors. --He was able to come and do the work by the end of the week. --He brought with some of his teenage sons to help out, who had great work ethic. When the job was taking a bit longer than he thought, his wife came out to help also. --My young kids were VERY interested in the work being done; he was great with them, and gave me warning when he was about to do something dangerous so I could get them out of the way. --He did what I asked him to do, and it was done to my satisfaction. The clean up was superb; you would have never known they were there! --The only issue was when the big branch swung a little further out than he expected as he removed it from the roof, and it knocked some of the boards off my wooden fence. He fixed it right away (none of the boards were broken, just needed to be nailed back in).--Really nice guy, nice family business, great work at a great price!!!

Walt and the boys were wonderful. We had a wicked Widow maker hung in 2 trees. This thing had a vertical branch attached to it that made it scary for me to even walk under. We also had a tree that was leaning on the corner of the deck. Not hard but surrounded by trees. They tied off the Widow maker and then dropped the parts in no time at all. The second tree came down just as quick. They cut the large wood in sizes for a splitter. all the brush was taken away. I also had Knee high grass cut and gone over like twice in that price. I had others come out to give me a price. Everyone that was close to that price just wanted to just drop the tree. I will use living tree again.

As I stated previously Walt did an outstanding job.

We had a major wind and hail storm in 2010 that toppled some of our most prized trees on our lot. I was very concerned about letting my family friend cut those trees down, as any mistake could end up dropping a tree on someone else's yard or home. So, I turned to Living Water Tree Service. They are local for me, and I enjoy supporting local business, and have nothing but praise for this company. LWTS was very good handling the problem, worked independently, and finished the job in short order. I enjoyed using them so much that Walt has been back for additional jobs. In 2011, I contacted LWTS again for some additional tree removal. Twenty years has allowed much of the smaller, decorative trees to turn into large fixtures, and I felt as if they were choking off my ability to use the yard. Once again, the company did a wonderful job getting the lot cleared. I also used this year to stump grind the trunks left over in 2010. For that job, he hired out, and the person who came with the heavy machinery was an absolute professional as well. The only issue that I have is that he brought his family with him to perform the cleanup. Some of them were obviously very young, and I was concerned about injury, especially when parts of the job involved some very large trees (over forty feet). I completely understand that Walt may be using the opportunity to teach potential future tree surgeons, so they'd be welcome on any of my jobs, but if something like that concerns you, I am pretty sure he would honor your wishes. In any case, I would recommend LWTS to anyone. I am pleasantly surprised at the results.

Walt was great! Quick response, on time, on budget, and cleaned up, you would never know that he was here! He will be getting our tree business moving forward.

I found Walt on Angie's list and decided to give him a call. Walt was very prompt and surveyed the job before giving me a quote. The tree that was down was a large boxelder and had four large trunks to it. It was a big project. Walt was an excellent communicator and kept us well informed of when they would be coming and when they would be done. He stuck to his original quote and cleaned the site quite thoroughly. I was very pleased and would use him again.

The tree is right next to the house and it is about 10 feet. Our neighbor had one of his oak trees go down. So I wanted to know if the arborist could come out in order to look at it and to see if there were any concerns. The arborist was very pleasant and answered my questions. I never paid him for any services. He was very helpful and informative as well. He didn?t want to come out to look at it but he gave me a lot of tips. His responsiveness was very good. I have done some other tree work in the past with another company and I am very satisfied with that company. So I would probably not use the services of Living Water Tree Service again.

They did a great job. We called in a professional because there was a possibility of the tree falling on our home, and he did wonderful work. His rates are very reasonable. I got quotes for double what he charged. I was very happy and would use him again.
