Innovative Electric

I was having my bathroom painted; I scheduled the painter a month in advance. I was going to ask him to put up a different vanity light when he was finished painting. When he removed the old light fixture, he discovered the that the builder had not installed the light fixture to code and there was a stud between the existing wiring and where the wire needed to be for the new vanity light. So, I had to scramble to try to find an electrician that could do the job ASAP. I called Jeff and he was able to squeeze me in that same week. Fortunately, my painter was able to juggle his schedule too, which gave me time to resolve the electrical issue before the walls were painted. Jeff was super nice. When he saw me wearing a mask, he kindly offered to wear one, but I told him it wasn't necessary. He also took off his shoes. My carpet is so dirty that I told him that he could keep them on, but I appreciated the gesture. Jeff fixed the problem in minimal time. He didn't even have to remove any more drywall. I was very impressed with the results and I was extra pleased that he checked that the fixture was level. I couldn't be happier.

The provider initially came out to provide an estimate for under cabinet lighting. At the time, I really liked him. I chose him to do my job. He called back a few days after and said the product he wanted to use was on backorder for over 2 1/2 months. He mentioned another product that he could get right away. I agreed and gave him my approval to order that product. Said he'd call me after the weekend to set up time to do my project. 2 weeks later, I had not heard from him so I called him and he started out by saying, "I'm real sorry about not calling you back, I've been busy". Then he proceeded to tell me that he decided after speaking with me that he didn't want to use the alternative product so he never ordered it. I was shocked that he hadn't bothered to call me back over a 2 week time period to tell me anything. Still, wanted to give him a chance, because again, initially he was nice. Gave him another call and he said he'd do the project and call me on Monday (2 days later). Again, one week went by and NO CALL! Called him and left a voice mail asking him to please call me back one way or another out of common courtesy. He called me back and when I answered he hung up. I called him RIGHT back and got his voice mail - so clearly he was hoping for my voice mail likely to tell me, "Sorry he's been busy". This company is NOT professional at all! To treat customers like that is ridiculous! COMMUNICATE with your customers whether busy or not. After a day on another project call someone back on your way home or something. Don't just ignore them. Absolutely the rudest thing to do. This reflects the fact I would not feel confident he'd finish a project or even come back if you needed something changed or fixed after he does the project.

Excellent! I called on Friday night and left a message and he called back within five minutes. He offered to come out immediately, but we agreed on Saturday. He was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and completed the work quickly. The price was also reasonable. I highly recommend Innovative Electric and plan to have him install indoor and outdoor light fixtures in the near future.

Jeff was fabulous. He was prompt, friendly, explained things well, and fairly priced. He did a great job and I would hire him again at a moment's notice.

Jeff (the electricain) showed up right on time & did the job in less than hour. He was friendly & obviously knew what he was doing. I've actually hired him for another job, but we're waiting for better weather. I would recomend Innavative Electric to anyone who nees electrical service or repairs.

Jeff contacted me within a day or two of purchasing the deal through Angie's List. He's kind of "old school" in that he prefers to do business over the phone and on paper. He is good about returning calls in a reasonable amount of time, and his handwriting on the carbon copy I got for my inspection report was legible. He offered to perform the maintenance needed that he identified on the inspection report, but he didn't do a hard sell at all. Recommended.

Was very professional asked, made sure the fans were installed where and how I wanted them. The only thing that was a negative for me was that he did not have enough tarps to place on the floor under the work area.

Prompt, honest and got the job done in a timely fashion. I will definitely use them again in the future!

Our house is wired a bit odd so we decied to use purchase an Angie's List special to have Innovative come out and help go through our fuse box and figure out what is what, while also giving us a good overview of where our electrical stands. He was very helpful and professional and we learned more than a couple things we had not about some of our wiring and improvements we plan on doing in the future. Will definitely reach out to them when the time comes!

Provider (Jeff) arrived on-time and was very friendly throughout the whole process. He was very approachable with any questions while he installed our lights. Good professional work. Would hire again for any electrical job. Cost in the end was slightly more than quoted as it took longer than expected to complete the job per provider. Clean-up from job was 100% our responsibility, not a problem for us.

Electrician was very responsive to my needs and the work was done efficiently and timely. In spite of some hang ups from my side, he was very cooperative and accommodating in completing the tasks.

I was installing some flush mount lighting and came across a light fixture where I needed to flip two circuit breakers to silence my circuit tester. This seemed odd so I called Jeff. He was able to fit me in that afternoon and arrived on time. The problem turned out to be with my tester - false positives. He explained why I was having the problem with the tester and installed the light. He discounted my bill some. I appreciated the information and gained some useful knowledge. I will call Jeff to install a chandelier when I figure out what I want.

Called yesterday at 3:30 PM. Explained problem and Jeff set up an appointment for next morning at 8:30 AM. Jeff was there promptly at 8:30 and fixed problem.

Jeff is fantastic! He's helped us with several projects and I'm always impressed with his workmanship, honesty and integrity. Especially with electrical concerns, it's important to know that you're getting knowledgeable advice and that the work is done well. I'm always confident about the work Jeff does, and the amount he charges for it is always fair. We will always call Jeff for our electrical work and refer him without hesitation.

Jeff did good work on a previous project so we called him. He came out and gave me an estimate acceptable to me so we agreed on a date for the work. He came that day but did not do the work because he explained the fixture I purchased was not appropriate for the install location. I accepted his explanation; so we agreed I would purchase a different fixture and we selected a new date. That date came and passed with no work or phone call. For the next three weeks I left messages asking why he did not show up as agreed and asking for a return call. I have left a total of five messages and heard nothing. I have now given up on him and will go elsewhere.

The job was handled very efficiently. My problems were solved and at a very reasonable price. He was very professional and prompt.

After listening to my failed diagnostics and the steps I took to isolate the problem, Jeff stepped through several of the steps I had taken. With his knowledge of the style and age of our house he was able to find the single outlet I had not known was on the circuit and of course, this was where the problem was found. The shared neutral circuit was connected directly to the outlet by the stab-in connectors. This is a very bad thing. He corrected the issue in a way that will no longer be a potential problem and was out within an hour.

Jeff returned my email promptly, gave a rough estimate over the phone, came out within days as scheduled, to take a look at the project. He gave me a very reasonable quote and was able to complete the work at the same time. He was businesslike and polite.

Jeff came in first to review whether or not it would be an easy job or not (based on how the ceiling above the sheet rock was built), saw that it was pretty easy to do, gave me an estimate of work and when it could be performed. He not only did an excellent job, but the estimate was within a few dollars and done on the same day he told me it would be done. He even gave us several ideas on where the lights should be placed and we went with his recommendations. We LOVE the new lights in that room now!
