We had Greg Johnson installations install carpet in three rooms and re-stretch the family room carpet. They showed up right on time and had it done before I returned home from work. It looks fantastic, and we have Greg quoting some more new carpet on our stairs and upstairs bedroom and hallway. Thanks guys great job and great value!!

After reading all of the positive reviews, we were hopeful and trusting of Greg and Dustin to finish our basement with some new carpet. But what started off as some minor inconveniences quickly turned into a disaster of a job. To start, we were shown, and we chose, several different carpet styles before we were called the next day and told they were out of stock (three times, to be exact) instead of just showing us in-stock product to begin with. This delayed our install by over three weeks. Greg and Dustin would wear their dirty, snow- and mud-covered shoes inside our house, we even offered shoe coverings and they laughed at us and declined. When the ground was frozen, we offered them to park in our back yard to have easier access to the basement. They returned when it was warm and the ground was wet and soft, and Greg was very rude and refused to move both vehicles when we asked if they would please not park on our lawn. The reason they had to return (multiple times) was because of a hallway seam that was giving them a hard time. When we called about it TWICE, after two mediocre attempts, we were told that they knew it looked bad and they would come fix it. Instead of initially letting us know they’d come fix it, knowing it looked horrific, they waited for us to call them and say we did not approve of the work. We received many rude comments and profanity from Greg both to our faces and heard on our home security cameras, garbage and coffee cups were left, our toilet and bathroom was left dirty from their use, and they would show up at least 45 minutes later than the scheduled time all six trips that were made to our house. We do not recommend this company. The hallway seam is still not fixed, and Greg knows it and says he is not coming back (per our Ring camera).

The Installer was 1 hour and 15 minutes late. Calling 15 minutes after his start time to let us know he was almost there. (He got there an hour after that first call.) He said the job would take approximately 2.5 hours. When he did finally get there he explained that they would have to scrape the floor, (This was no fault of his or ours. We didn't know it needed to be done and he didn't know there was drywall residue on the floor) so we estimated we should add 1hour for this. So 3.5 hours. After an 1 hour and 45 Minutes he came up and told us he had to leave for 2 hours to get a hair cut. We needed to have this done on the 5th due to some time constraints for other installations so We agreed to let him go. (We didn't feel like we had any other choice since he had already started the project.) He was gone approximately 2.5 hours. What should have been a few hours away from work for us, turned into an all day project and I was forced to use vacation time. He finished up in approximately 2.75 hours total work time, but the actual time including the 1.25 hours late was 6.5 hours. We asked for a discount for the installation and he was rude and confrontational. He commented under his breathe as he walked away with profanity. We had inspected his work before he left, but his behaviour left us shocked and we missed a 2 foot section that was not finished. We called and asked him if it was his practice to not finish a job. He asked for details and blamed his helper, again with profanity. When he was done he told us he was sorry that it has been a bad experience and that was not his norm. We told him we were sorry to. More profanity under the breathe as he walked away. After vacuuming the carpet there are little frays along the walls and a few spots in the second room that the carpet had to be pushed down onto the tack strips to make it stay down. Over all the carpet is in and looks nice enough, but we will not be using this installer again.
