+ -1 moreVery good work done over a course of several weeks. Had to let previous coat of sealant dry before next coat. Job looks very good overall. Pleased with responsiveness and quality of work.
Description of Work: New garage roof. Replace eave on one side of roof. Seal eaves on main house against rodents and birds. Seal flat roof areas with tar sealant. Painted all outside trim on main house - replace and repair as required.

+ -1 moreA neighbor a street over had some siding work done and we had read about DG on Angies list. We called, set up an appointment to see about an estimate. That was very timely. They said they would write up an official bid and drop it off in a few days. We have never seen or heard from them again. This was about a month ago.
Description of Work: No work was done, we were looking at having some siding work completed.

+ -1 moreThey arrived on time, worked long hours, kept me informed as to how each piece of the project would go.. Steve Did an excellent job as the manager of the project in explaining the details of the owrk, and how long it would take. They understood that I was selling the house, and need it complete within a week for the open house and they did not fail the project. They performed extra work on the roof line, fixed door trim incorrectly installed by someone else. They went above and beyond. The area cleaned up well, Steve is available all the time, whether I called him morning or night and always ansered "not a problem" no matter what I had to ask, or have them do. Everyone on the project was professional, they work long hours to get the project done. I had bid from other companies, but Steve and his assurances stood out. Would not hesitate to hire them again.
Description of Work: They vinyl sided the 4 level split house, even fixed extra areas on the roof line. fixed door trim incorrectly installed by someone else. Installed cedar siding on front of the house, re-installed the lights, and even new lights , cleaned up the area and left it spotless.

+ 0 moreMy salesperson did a good job working with my insurance company to get funding for as much of the damage as he could. I ended up getting the entire roof and siding for 1/2 the building covered, which I was happy with. Work was done in a timely and professional manner, with all debris removed promptly. It has rained several times since it was complete, and there have been no leaks reported. I was provided all proper lien waivers and paperwork upon completion of the job. I am happy with the experience, and would work with them again. In addition to the exterior work on this property, I also got a bid for additional attic insulation on a different building. Pricing seemed fair, but it was not in my budget to do at this point.
Description of Work: This is the 2nd job I have worked with DG Home Exteriors on in the past 6 months. DG did a complete roof replacement, and partial siding replacement for another one of my properties. This included tear-off and removal of the roof and damaged siding, and installation of the new roof and 1/2 the siding on the building.

+ 1 moreThe whole project was around 10 days start to finish all permits were completed and my property look undisturbed. In all I tell everyone about Steven at DG Home Exteriors and now I am telling you.
Description of Work: A sales men named Steven came out and told me about a promotion that DG Home Exteriors was doing on windows and doors and I was blow away by the detail and overall quality that I received from them. I was given many options in regards to product colors, options and prices to suit my needs and budgets. After my 15 windows and 2 doors were done completely in two days I decided to also side my house with a new vinyl siding I was told about by their salesmen and it is so nice, and virtually seamless. The windows are so much better and no drafts. The best part is you will get the best product for your budget and you will also come away from your project with a much better understanding about the products and how they work on your home, I learned so much. With my insulation. windows and siding I saved around $$500.00 in propane and received a nice tax credit too An. A++++ people and experience from me

+ 1 moreThe whole project was done in one day, and the yard was left immaculate - not a single nail on the grass. Everything was done in a professional manner and with proper permits. Lien waivers were provided upon project completion. It has rained since, and there are no roof leaks. My sales person (Doug) was very responsive and handled all the meetings with my insurance company. All of my questions were answered, and I am happy with the experience. This is not my first roof replacement, and I have had issues with previous contractors doing shoddy work, not paying for the supplies, screwing up the insurance claim, etc, but this went off without a hitch. I would use them again, and am in the middle of another roof project with them right now. Thanks!

+ -1 moreThe shingles arrived before the project was to start and the dumpster was delivered that morning. The old shingles were removed and the wood was inspected. Everything was good and the work continued. Roof vents and flashing was replaced. The shingles went up and they look great. The crew cleaned up any building material trash from the roof project. I would recomment them and have them back when I need any other work done.
Description of Work: Tear-off of old shingle. Replace all roof vents and flashing. Install new shingles and nessesary calking.
