there was a clog in the drainage line of my washer and they cleaned it out and got my washer working again.

Chris called to get details of problem and set up time for service. Quote for problem was given and time for service call was set. Mark called to say he was on his way and arrived within 15 min. Mark came in and asked if he should remove his shoes, we said not to worry but thanked him for asking. He started fixing the problem and was very knowledgeable and very easy to talk with. He finished the job without any problems and could not have been any more professional. He answered all my wife's questions. We could not be more pleased and will use them again if necessary and will also refer them to family and friends.

I would give him six stars if I could. Chris was extremely helpful and courteous. He gave me a detailed explanation over the phone before he even came out of what he thought the likely issues could be and what the cost might be to fix the appliances in each scenario. Then when he did come out, he was on-time, friendly, and really helpful. He gave us an estimate on fixing the freezer and didn't try to push to do that work, because he felt that the cost of the repair would be too high (because of parts) and it would be more worth our while to replace it. He did a fix on the refrigerator that took care of the problem without having to order any of the parts he originally had thought might be needed when we spoke on the phone. All in all, we just paid for the trip fee; he didn't even charge us for the actual fix. I would recommend him in a heartbeat and will definitely call him again if we need any other appliances fixed.

Excellent, on time, brought all needed parts, replaced switch, replaced belt (requires a lot of labor to open unit), and cleaned out lint from pipe and unit inside.

My husband was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, needless to say we are overwhelmed. The last thing we needed was appliance issues. Chris corresponded with me often to answer my questions, research the problem to make sure fixing it was prudent rather than replacing the unit. He also wanted to make sure he diagnosed correctly and preordered the part. He was kind and sympathetic regarding our devastating medical situation. He and his assistant were timely, professional and very respectful of our budget given upcoming medical bills we will be facing.

Chris called promptly and we determined that I might be able to deal with the issue -- the issue being, the washing machine needed some cleaning -- without having a service call. While he was certainly willing to come out and service the machine, he was exceptionally forthright and helpful, explaining how I might easily clean the machine myself, if I wished to give it a try. I thought that was very honest of him, and so he gets high marks from me.

The washing machine door wouldn't latch one day after the latch had been difficult for several weeks. I called and spoke to Chris, who had previously installed other appliances (not this washing machine) in our house. He understood the problem, and said the part would need to be replaced. He offered to preorder it for the repair, told me upfront that express shipping on the order would add $36 to the total cost of the repair. I agreed to this and we scheduled the repair for three days after my call. He arrived on time and performed the repair. The part was larger and more complicated than I had expected. The price was included in the above total cost. There have been no problems since the repair, and this washing machine is used heavily.

I called and left a voicemail on Monday. Chris called me back within 10 minutes. The repairs weren't urgent, so I waited until the next available first-thing-in-the-morning appointment, which was Thursday. Chris called me 30 minutes prior to when he would arrive, and was available earlier than my appointment, but waited until I was available at 8 am. He was professional and knowledgeable. He was in my home less than 30 minutes. For the dishwasher, he cleaned the filter, leveled it and tested the motor. All was well. When he looked at the washing machine, he knew immediately what was wrong, ordered the part and we made a return visit appointment. He was available Monday, but I was not available until Tuesday, and I was able to schedule it around my work hours. Matt called me Tuesday and was running ahead of schedule, so he asked if it was okay for him to come early. I was able to run home from work, he completed the repair, and I was back at work within 40 minutes. He replaced the part, tested the washing machine and was on his way. Their pricing is reasonable and only charged for the repair and parts, not two visits. I am impressed and will refer anyone I know who needs appliance repair to Chris's company. Professional, knowledgeable, courteous, efficient. Can't describe them any better. Thank you!

Chris called before coming,out and was right on time. He explained everything that he needed to do and kept me informed as the work progressed. He was very pleasant to talk to about the work. He kept the area clean and was very knowledgeable. He is very efficient. Before he finished he tested and double checked his work and cleaned up when complete. I will definitely use him again.

The refrigerator repair went very well. We had used this repair service in the past and were pleased so we called them to fix our frig. Each time they were punctual, professional and personable. As I remember, their prices were OK. I would call them again.

Chris and I talked on the phone several times regarding the lack of cooling in my GE side-by-side refrigerator. He gave helpful tips to try to diagnose the issue prior to coming out. He was always prompt in calling me back. Ultimately, we found out that we had a potential covered part through GE directly, so we did not use Chris, however, we would not hesitate to call in the future.

Chris is awesome. Our refrigerator water dispenser was making a surging/hammering sound when dispensing a glass of water. Another service company in town that Whirlpool uses was unable to resolve the issue after three trips to my home; so, they asked if they could walk away and refund me my money. I called Chris at Appliance Care and explained my situation. He took notes and told me he'd do some research. A few days later, Chris called to say he thinks he figured out the issue. He ordered a part, installed it, tested it and the issue is resolved. I would definitely recommend Appliance Care to my friends and family.

My refrigerator stopped working over the weekend. On Monday I started calling repair services on Angie's list. The smaller companies like Appliance Care just had voice mail and I left messages. The larger firms had receptionists who all said that the earliest appointment would be Friday and that would be to diagnose the problem. Then parts would need to be ordered. I'd be without a fridge through the Labor Day weekend. Minimum $200 for the 2 trips plus parts and labor. Chris Carlson Returned my call and said he was busy too but that he could come out on Wednesday. He arrived and found the problem in short order, a relay that turned on the compressor. He drove to a parts store in St. Louis Park and bought a new relay and was back in about 30 minutes (miraculous since it was a 17 mile round trip through a major construction zone). Installed the relay and it worked. He also cleaned the refrigerator cooling coils, and the total cost with tax was under $180. I'll use him again and refer my friends.

I had two guys come out to look at the washer and dryer. There was a charge for them to come out and then they ordered a part and came back and installed it without charging for a second service call. They also cleaned the air ducts in a separate trip. Recently, our GE dryer started making noises, a year after they repaired it. I sent an email asking about it and was told that this usually was an indicator of a part wearing out, possibly the drum Rather than spend more money on a dryer that already has been repaired, I purchased another one but was grateful for an honest reply that perhaps the fix would be expensive if I threw more money at the dryer. Yes, I will use these people in the future. I liked that they did not charge for a second service call. I liked that they were very thorough and respectful. I liked that both repairs were made and have not been a problem since the repairs. They just plain seemed honest. Charges are estimates. I don't really remember because it was more than a year ago that I had them out.

Quick, easy and saved us from buying a new washer!!

I was very pleased! I was so disappointed with my new dishwasher soon after we bought it 2 years ago - the cheap plastic rollers and assembly began breaking not long after it was installed, and I had to be very careful when loading it; to the point of only putting light dishes in the top rack, or it would come apart and the rack would sag. In addition, it simply wasn't cleaning well and more recently, wasn't even dissolving the detergent. Mr. Carlson very capably addressed each problem and explained along the way what he was doing, and why. Every question I had, he was able to answer. I feel like we have a brand new dishwasher!

My front loading washing machine was not pumping out the used water, and I thought the pump had failed. Mark told me how to find and clear the trap that precedes the pump. Once I cleared out the trap, and made sure the drain hose downstream of the pump was also clear, everything worked correctly again. If I get stumped by the next appliance problem, I'll call again.

Excellent service, prompt, efficient, very reasonable price. Called for service at 10:00 AM and left VM, they returned my call within 5 minutes, scheduled service call for same day. Service Tech Matt arrived at 11:00 AM (after calling at 10:45 to notify me of his expected arrival time), almost instantly diagnosed problem, verified problem, and completed repair by 11:30 AM. WOW! Matt was courteous and professional, knowledgable, efficient and provided accurate and complete information. I couldn't be more pleased!!!

They cleaned out and reset my dryer which worked briefly but when it went out again a few days later they came out and replaced a part for free. Now my dryer is working perfectly. They were extremely helpful and I would recommend their services to anyone.

This was the second time this month that we needed an appliance repaired. Matt did a great job both times, including given us options a problematic dishwasher that didn't have the parts available that was needed.

When I called to inquire about an appointment, I received voice mail, but Chris returned my call within fifteen minutes. Even before seeing my oven, he correctly diagnosed what was wrong, over the phone, and told me exactly how much it would cost to fix. He answered some other questions, as I debated whether or not I wanted to repair an appliance that is already over a decade old. As he answered these questions, he never pushed to come out and take a look; he just fielded them as honestly and professionally as I could. Once I decided to move forward with the repair, Chris set an appointment for three days out. His tech phoned me about thirty minutes before the appointment time to let me know he was on his way. Then, the tech arrived at precisely the time he'd pledged to be here. The tech was every bit as polite and professional as Chris was over the phone, answering all of my questions and completing the repair within thirty-five minutes. While there were likely cheaper options available, I am very happy with Appliance Care's service and would not hesitate to use them again.

The technician was very knowledgable and thorough in fixing both appliances. He communicated well the issue and how he had resolved it. Both problems were resolved and we have had no issues since.

Presented cost of repair with cost of similar washer. Because of age of washer - 15 years - will buy a new washer.
