Mark was very fast in responding to my telephone Voice Mail message asking for help. He analyzed over the phone what he thought the problem could be based on my description of the symptoms. He thought the problem could involve 3 parts, and he brought the parts with him, so that no addition trips for parts were needed. His analysis at my house determined that 2 of the 3 parts were defective.

After trying several different things, we were told the problem was either the motor or the pump (I hope I'm getting this right - it has been a few weeks). Both they felt were not worth fixing given the age of the machine. We agreed and made arrangements to purchase a new machine. We appreciated the honesty and speed with which they handled our concerns.

This company was quick to answer my call and set an appointment date. Ron came out on time and was pleasant to work with. He quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered parts and I am waiting for a return visit to install the parts needed. Very satisfied overall.

This is the thrid time I have had Appliance Care out to fix or check something. Mark is always polite and straightforward with any questions or concerns. Their price for this service was $59 and $89 lower than two other quotes. I came to use them because AC Carlson recommended them when I bought an appliance through them, and I will certainly use Appliance Care again!

I was excited to try this company after reading their reviews on Angie's list but was a bit disappointed with my overall experience. The tech arrived on time to one of my rentals but I was running late and he refused to wait or even take my phone call. I needed the work done so I gave them another try and the second tech who came back 2 days later was very pleasant and I was satisfied with the estimate he gave me. I did not hire them to make the repair and instead replaced the dishwasher instead.

Oh my gosh, this guy is AWESOME!!! He was super friendly and knowledgeable. He fixed my fridge perfectly! I will absolutely use him again if I need to :)

I called Mark and left a voicemail letting him know that our ice maker and water dispenser on our fridge were not working. He returned the call fairly promptly and asked some questions about the fridge. He said he needed to research a few things and call me back. He called me back and told me that the problem might be a few different things and we agreed that he should come to the house and check out the fridge. Mark was able to come over in a matter of hours. About an hour and fifteen minutes later the problem was solved. He explained what he did and what we might expect in the future. Mark was very professional and even graciously put up with one of our babies screaming his head off. He was able to take a credit card for payment. We are very happy with the entire experience and think that the price was extremely reasonable. We would definitely recommend him to others. If you look at the other reports I've submitted you'll see that I am not always an easy "grader" of services - but when I get service I like, I certainly like to tell others. Mark is a high quality professional.

They have done an outstanding job of installing the appliances for me. They take their job very seriously and provide excellent quality of service. They also take time to talk to me and explain everything in detail. It is a family own business and they are really good.

After helping me over the phone three times in the past few years, I finally had an appliance problem that required assistance. He came out and tried to get the existing pump to work, but it continued its grinding noise. The part was not available in the metro area, so he ordered one from Chicago and came back a few days later to install it. Every thing went as planned, for the estimated price

Mark diagnosed the problem and gave us an estimate over the phone, and said they could send someone out the next day. The repair person came within the time frame (but toward the end) and repaired the problem and answered my questions. I gave them a B for price, but this is the only estimate we got and I do not know if it was high or low.

I called on a Thursday and Mark told me over the phone that it seemed my icemaker needed to be replaced. He told me the cost would be about $200 for parts and labor. He came out the following Monday (about 45 min. late, but no big deal), and tested the icemaker, which was dead. He replaced it and helped me level the refrigerator. Very knowledgeable and professional--I would definitely call him again.

Mark was actually able to diagnose the problem over the phone. We even had someone out previously who misdiagnosed it (thought it needed either a new mother board or digital front control panel). He was able to help us in a very timely fashion which was wonderful. It turned our to be the damper/fan that wasn't working (and ironically the GE experts probably misdiagnosed it when we first had the problem under the one year warranty when they replaced the mother board.) The labor price was just fine (estimate right on), but in our research online we felt the part price was somewhat high. However, having him purchase and install it gives you the warranty. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable. He will definitely stay in our calling files and be someone we recommend.

I contacted Mark and described the problem. He explained to me where to find the directions for re-setting the control panel myself, and walked me through them. He was extremely patient. I tried following the directions, but was not successful, so I contacted him again to schedule a service call. He walked me through the steps one more time to try to re-set the panel, and waited on the phone as I did it. This time it worked (the previous time I had been in a bit of a panic, and didn't read the directions carefully). A day later he called me back, in part to make sure everything was working, and also to get the directions from me on how to re-set my particular control panel, as he had another customer with the same problem. I think many people would have made a service call instead - it would be a simple fix for them, and quick money. Mark went above and beyond in helping me. I would not hesitate to both hire him myself, and recommend him to others.

Our Amana refrigerator had suddenly stopped working. In describing what had happened to Mark over the phone he was already able to diagnose the problem and give me a cost estimate. When he arrived, he replaced the defrost timer and we were back in business. He impressed us with his breadth of experience and the fact that he was able to service so many brands. It was also very helpful that he could come over the same day that we called.

I love his availability and responsiveness. He doesn't hang around talking. He does his job and goes home.

Overall, my experience with APPLIANCE CARE was fabulous. Mark, the owner and main guy there, was punctual, friendly, cooperative and very knowledgeable about appliance repair. Mark even showed me things that I can do to help keep my air conditioners running well and as efficient as possible, which I really appreciated. I would definitely use APPLIANCE CARE again. I'm told they can fix any appliance in the home so one stop fix it shop is always convenient!
