The repairman was friendly and helpful.

I called several contractors - all A rated on Angies List. Most wanted about $100 for a service call, plus parts and labor expenses. When I spoke with Mark at Appliance Care, he offered up a no charge consultation - which I noted someone esle had done on a previous report. (He also offered to make a service call for a reasonable $70) Mark told me that in most cases, there is nothing wrong with an oven (which was the suspect), but the detectors. Given that my oven is only 2 years old, that sounded reasonable to me. So I took my own CO detector, which has a display showing exact amounts, and tested the oven for leaks. There was no CO coming from the oven, even with the oven door open and my detector overhead. The installed CO detector was making some chirping sounds, so I disconnected it and left my own CO detector in place for the occupants to use and test while cooking. No problems since. All that said - Appliance Care takes good care of customers, even when there no money in it for him. He is to be applauded.

Washing machine wouldn't turn on at all. I called Appliance Care and Mark came over the next day and right on time. He replaced the sensor and now the machine works great. He also checked to see if the belt needed to be replaced, which it didn't. I asked him to check the dishwasher because the dishes weren't getting as clean as they used to and the dispenser hatch was broken. He ascertained that the hard water and detergent being used were the underlying issues, and made some suggestions as to what I could do on my own to resolve. I have followed his advice and he proved to be corrrect. I decided not to have the hatch repaired after weighing the cost vs. the age of my dishwasher. I believe it would have been a little over $200 for parts and labor. Mark was great--was prompt, conscientious about not getting dirt in the house, and happily answered my many questions. I appreciate that he was honest with me and didn't simply try to get more money, especially regarding the dishwasher. I thought the price was a bit high as both issues were resolved in less than an hour, but considering the company's integrity and positive experience would definitely use them again.

Appliance Care showed up on time and repaird the dryer at the estimated price. Two months later, a new sound developed. Appliance Care scheduled an appointment for four days later to look at if for no charge and speculated it was probably the motor. Because the dryer was so old, we bought a new dryer two days later and cancelled the appointment.

The work he did has held up, his advice seemed to be his honest opinions (without an agenda), and he was friendly and warm.

Found our dishwasher was not draining water. I called Mark and he made an appointment for us the next day. He came out and right away had a good idea as to the issue. He began cleaning out the filter. It had become clogged and that was the problem. He had us up and running within the half hour and gave us some helpful advice to ensure this problem does not happen again. I won't call any other appliance service business. This is the second time I have used Appliance Care for two different issues and they are top notch. They know their stuff, get right to work and fix it right the first time. One can't ask for more.

Excellent. My call was returned within a few hours and we set-up an appointment for the following Tuesday. The serviceman over the phone diagnosed the problem since he said there are few items which can go wrong on a gas dryer. He gave me the prices for each repair over the phone as well. He was courteous and even worked his schedule so that he came within my time frame.

Applicance Care returned my call immediately when no one was available to take it at the time. I was very happy that they were able to send someone out the next morning. The repair was quick and on budget.

I love them. First of all the guy Mark, who came out was very experienced. One of the experiences I had with him was that, he first ran me through the procedure over the phone. So that he wouldn't necessarily come and charge for a call, which is awesome. Not everyone does that. Everyone would want to come and make their money. He did come and made a call on the washer. It was all worth it. He was honest and awesome. He charges through his visits. He came twice to fix my refrigerator door. He came the summer before and also the last summer to fix my refrigerator. It's a poorly designed fridge and there's a lot of wear and tear on the door. He's worked twice to make it work. He said next time if he comes, he won't be able to help me. I think he's honest and his prices are fair. He's efficient and he gets the job done. He does not charge for things that he thinks it's not worth. He's very clear on his work. I would use his services again in the future.

Refrigerator Repair - On Easter I left messages for three A vendors that I picked from Angie's list. I told them they could all call me back as early as 7 AM Monday. Mark was the first guy to call back about 7.30 AM. Since we had no cooling at all, Mark send Chris out first thing Monday morning. Chris was very professional and knew his stuff. Unfortunately our compressor was bad on a 4 year old GE Profile Fridge, which is a very expensive part and repair, so we passed on the further repair. Chris offered to put a new circuit board into the fridge just to make me comfortable that it wasn't the circuit board. Unfortunately, he didn't have the proper board on his truck. He was 99.99% certain it was the compressor, so I felt comfortable with his assessment. After spending the afternoon looking at the cost of new refrigerators, I called Mark back the next day to see if they could pick up the board and test it, just to be sure. Mark didn't even hesitate, he sent Chris to get the part and Chris stopped over and installed it. Chris was correct, the board didn't work and it was the compressor. They probably spent another 2 man hours getting the part, talking to me on the telephone and testing the part. They didn't have to do this. This is above and beyond - and remember, when I asked Mark to send Chris out with the part, he didn't even thing twice about it, he just did it. I have worked in corporate training for 20 years, and this is a prime example of superior customer service that I can use in my training.

They told me what work would need to be done but I haven’t decided if I’ll have the work done or I’ll just get a new oven. They have wonderful service, they stand behind their work, they are knowledgeable, and they are easy to work with.

I called them when my fridge went out. It turned out to not be a problem. I liked them as they gave me some advice. I thought that it was very good. They knew the appliances.

I called Appliance Care based on the comments on Angie's list. I was offered a time that did not work with my schedule. Mark offered a revised time and we agreed. Less than 20 minutes after my initial call, Chris the tech called and said he could be at our home within 15 minutes. Chris was very professional and knew exactly what the problem was. He had the old part removed and the new one installed within 20 minutes. He even made a quick fix to stablize my dishwasher at no charge. With in an hour and 15 minutes of my first contact with Appliance Care, I had a working stove again. The one con could be price. The new part was $55 and labor was $115 for less than 20 minutes of work. I don't have any comparison to other vendors and their price point. However, when you compare the cost against their timely arrival and professional technician, I can't complain too much. I will definately do business again with Appliance Care.

This was the first time I called this service provider. My call went to voicemail so I left a message. I received a call back later that day, with an apology for not calling sooner. He explained that he had been on a big job that day. By the time I received the call back, I had arranged for another repair service to come the next day so I did not use Appliance Care this time. I would call them in the future since they were responsive.

I called, explained the issue and someone was out quickly to take a look. He seemed to enjoy the challenge of determining what was wrong and spent at least an hour looking (and disassembling the refrigerator to follow the wiring diagram). While I was disappointed it couldn't be fixed I was pleased to regain the ice maker functionality. The cost was very reasonable given the amount of time spent and I will definitely call again if I need appliance repair.

We called and left message. Shortly later a call back confirmed serviceman could arrive the same day, between 1 and 3pm. Around 1pm received call that serviceman would arrive in 5-10 minutes. Some concern that he might not have correct igniter for less common brand, which would mean several days delay. Fortunately he did have one that fit and was able to complete repair in less than an hour.

While there was some construction going on at my house the fridge seemed to stop working. I happened to have an electrician here at the time, his tester seemed to indicate a short. I called all over trying to find some help on a Saturday afternoon, this provider was the only one who picked up the phone. He walked me through a bunch of troubleshooting steps, and the fridge seems to be working fine. He was friendly, and so willing to help without even asking my name! I will absolutely call him when I need large appliance repair. I cannot recommend this provider enough!

He was nice, friendly, and honest. He did not charge me for changing the bulb. He was not able to work on a particular model, but he was great.

They were fabulous. They looked at the appliance and told me that it can be fixed and I need not waste money buying a new one. They were very honest. They did not even give me a quote. I liked their honesty the most. They could have charged me for something but they did not. They came very quickly too. They are very responsive. I rate them high overall. I will definitely use them again in the future.

I awoke on Christmas Eve to a refrigerator that was making funny noises and not cooling. Thanks to Angie's List, I found Mark at Appliance Care. He was willing and able to come within two hours (despite challenging weather) and made the repair, thus saving a major hassle on my holiday weekend. The refrigerator is now working fine, and I'm very grateful.

Washing machine was leaking from the bottom. Repairman diagnosed the problem as a pinhole in the pump, which he said is a very common problem. He replaced the pump and finished the job in about half an hour. The work was done efficiently and the machine has worked fine ever since.

Throughout the process, communication and punctuality were excellent. Diagnosis and estimate was made for two appliances. One appliance was repaired during a subsequent visit. No issues. Would use again.

Arrived on time, did a very competent job

Cam out the same day. Fixed the problem. Cleaned up his mess.

I was very happy with the service. My calls were returned right away and the repair man was there right when he said he'd be there. He gave me an estimate and then we discussed whether it was worth repairing or if I should just replace the unit. I decided to repair it and it was done the next morning. It's like a brand new oven!
