Fabulous. I was told outright that it would take more to repair the washer than buy a new one. Greatly appreciate finding this out BEFORE he started making repairs. The dishwasher turned out to be a simple issue, broken piece of glass in the pump filter, he explained what happened and why I couldn't find the issue. Quickly and cleanly fixed. Both service men were prompt, professional and very knowledgable, sharing details of what was going on and answering questions without hesitation. They are on my preferred services list for sure!

They scheduled a day and time, Matt showed up right on time, knew exactly what was wrong, had one part in his truck and went to home depot for another. Came back quickly, installed the parts, tested, found another problem, fix that one as well and now everything works great! They were AWESOME to deal with

We had an interesting conversation about old gas stoves and we looked at one of the gas ports for the oven which proved unproductive, although informative. Ultimately the burner on the stove was the primary reason I needed his service. He took one of the inlets, and sanded it out, something I could have done myself. The burner still does not work as it should, and for the service call alone it ought to work 100% of the time. I still think there needs to be an adjustment to one of the valves, but he ignored my suggestion on that account. Overall, the stove is working better than it had been, but we are still having trouble getting the oven to light the way it should be. This is understandable given the age of the unit (built in 1950) but he should not have left until he knew the oven was working optimally. Because of the repeated on/off of the valve for the left-front burner, too much gas built up in the house. I didn't know whether it was from the on/off attempts to get the burner to light or if it was from something else he had done while working on the unit, so I had to call 911 and get a man from the gas company to come out to check it. It was a nightmare.

Appliance Care quickly determined the problem, ordered the necessary part, and got the oven working again. Company representatives were professional, courteous, and very quick to return calls. We would definitely use them again.

Cost for fixing both items would have been nearly $400. Broiler problem was the biggest problem. It made more sense to purchase a new oven. He was very informative about expected life of the oven. Explained things in an easy to understand manner. Kind and professional. Will definitely call on again when I am having appliance problems.

He emailed me back in under a day and we then talked about the high costs of replacing both the circuit board and additional components potentially affecting the spin cycle. When I mentioned that the washer was 7 years old, he said that 7 years is a typical lifetime for front-loaders and encouraged me to think about getting a new washer. I highly appreciate his honesty when it involved his not getting business for a costly repair, and I will definitely contact him about future appliance repairs.

I was very impressed with this company and with Chris Carlson. Came out next day. Knew right away what the problem was and he was able to find the part immediately using his tablet (pretty impressive there). Went and picked up the part and fixed the Washer very quickly and at a very reasonable price. Very professional, polite and knowledgeable. I know who I will be calling again for Appliance repairs.

Perfect- Our local utility company, Xcel Energy, told us we needed a new compressor and it would cost close to $2000 to fix the problem- $100 per hour labor for 6 hour, $800 for a new compressor, new refrigerant at $60 a gallon, etc. We found Appliance Care on Angie's list. They responded to emails even on a weekend. They assessed the repairs based on our description of the problem, ordered the parts and showed up two days later and fixed the problem for $800. No new compressor needed. The repair took two hours and the person who made the repair was courteous, and explained everything in detail. We couldn't have asked for a better result. We'd call this company again, definitely.

Once again a pleasure to work with Chris and today I had Matt. As always prompt, friendly and great to work with. These guys are the best in the whole Metro Area. Have used them for every appliance in my house.

Prompt reply to my initial call, Chris talked me through the possibilities, then had a service person come out and take a look before ordering the part. they adjusted their next visit to my schedule to replace the parts. The repairman was knowledgeable, friendly and professional.

This went great. Chris returned my phone call quickly, and we were able to set an appointment that worked for my busy schedule. He showed up on time, looked professional and completed his work quickly and fr a reasonable price. Definitely my go to person for this kind of work from now on.

Great. They showed up on time - the price was reasonable. Then we realized that one of the burners was "flipped" so that if you turned the knob for the front burner, the back burner went on. I called Chris - he had someone come out and fix it right away. Would recommend again - great job.

This is the second time using this company. They installed an ignition about 10 years ago. The same problem this time around, my oven stopped working. The technician came to fix it and of course, the thing works! So, the service call to 'fix' my oven came to $95. I understand that trip charges and the time it took to test everything costs money and I was just happy that it worked so no biggie. Well, 5 hours later when I went to make dinner, the oven again did not heat. I called Chris and talked to him about it and we decided to just put a new electric board in. They had it in stock and could come over the next day! Well, the same tech arrived and he put in the board AND a new ignition. I was extremely surprised with a total cost of $135. I had expected over $200 as Chris quoted me that when we talked. This company is very professional, has good response times, and is not a price gouger. I will continue to use them for my appliance repair needs.

We called Chirs at 7:30 AM and left a message. He returned our call within 10 minutes. We explained our problem and he said he felt he knew what the possible solutions might be. After we gave him the model number, he said he would stop at his appliance part suppier and pick up various replacement parts. He said he wolud call when he was on his way. He called at 10:45 and he arrived at 11:15. He looked at the refrigerator, diagnosed the problem, and he had the repair part in the truck. The entire repair only took 30 minutes. Chris was very professional and has a very friendly and honest manner. Because of his depth of experience , I would be very comfortable asking him to repair any appliance.

Very professional from the moment I contacted them thru to project completion. Chris returned my phone call promptly, the technician called when he was on the way to our home, he explained what was wrong (a sensor wasn't working - so defroster wasn't working causing frost to block air path to frig). The tech ordered a new part, got our frig back cooling in the interim and then came back the next day to install with the new part. They were very respectful of my time and fit us in their schedules promptly. Would definitely use them again!

I've used this company three times. I won't ever use them again. Chris sent someone out that still needed to have a mentor and couldn't diagnose what was wrong. I still ended up paying the full price.

Called in the afternoon of 2/15/16. Promptly received a call back. Was given an arrival time of between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm on 2/16/16. Tech arrived promptly at 10:00 am. Dishwasher was repaired within 24 hours of contact. Very good service. I would use again.

My microwave quit working and I called Chris to confirm my diagnosis and get an estimate for repair. His rough estimate was nearly as much as I had paid for the appliance, so he agreed to get a more accurate estimate based on my specific microwave. He responded to my calls quickly and made several attempts to get the right model number because of some miscommunication. His more detailed repair estimate was still high enough to warrant a new purchase instead of a fix. I was impressed with his efforts to make sure my needs were met even though he did not get a repair job. I will certainly keep him in mind for future needs.

Chris answered my call on the first ring. After describing the issue I was having he indicated that he was pretty sure he knew what the problem was. He suggested ordering the part before coming to see the machine as it could take up to 6 days to get. He also indicated that I would not be charged for the part unless that was the problem. He called 3 days later and told me the part was in and we scheduled an appointment. He gave me a 3 hour window (THANK YOU! I wish more repair people would do this). He called about 30 minutes in to the window and said he was on his way. The problem was what he thought and the entire repair took about an hour. Thanks so much for great service. I will call again (but hopefully I won't have to).

They were responsive to all emails; they showed up on time; they finished in less than 20 minutes. Who could ask for more?

They were scheduled to install our dishwasher on a Monday. They called to say there had been a cancellation and they could come earlier if possible. I agreed to the earlier time and they arrived when they said they would. They completed the job in a short time and it looked great when they were done. The dishwasher was level, securely attached, and nothing was damaged.
