Called 12/30/2014 and got appointment next day. Called because he was able to arrive early. Check out dryer and found that it worked fine. Suggested cleaning out vent. He showed us the junk he was able to extract. He most likely saved us from a house fire.

He was punctual and worked quickly. Things went great. He even warned me that I should be looking at getting a new refrigerator (not immediately) but mine is 25 years old.

My washing machine stopped draining on Dec 15. I spent some time troubleshooting it myself - it would drain, spin, rinse, etc... but not in the sequence it was supposed to. It was a very odd and confusing problem. I called Appliance Care on Tuesday, Dec 17. Mark was very nice and suggested a few more things I could try, in the meantime I scheduled an appointment for the following afternoon. Chris was the repair tech that was sent to my house. He was prompt and friendly. The diagnosis from him was either the pressure monitor or the computer. After speaking with Mark, he was suggesting we start with the pressure monitor but I elected to have both parts replaced as I did not want to be without a washer for the Christmas holiday (and didn't want to risk having to wait a few days for a computer to arrive). The pressure monitor arrived promptly, but unfortunately the computer did not arrive as fast. (NO fault of Appliance Care's). Chris did come out on Friday the 20th to try the pressure monitor but alas, it did not solve the problem. :( My generous friend let me wash clothes at her place - so we made the most of it by having pizza and watching a movie - not all bad! Thankfully I received a call on Monday from Chris that the computer had arrived! The computer did the trick and I spent the next 6+ hours washing everything in sight. Who knew washing could be so fun? I would very much recommend Appliance Care to anyone. I feel that the pricing was fair and that service was great!

I phoned yesterday at about 5 p.m. and they were able to fit into my schedule today. I also asked them to bring a new silverware basket ( for $50 more) because mine had discintigrated in the places where it's over the heating elements. I believe it's a design flaw of my particular Kitchen Aid model. It turned out that the sump pump filter was clogged with little plastic pieces that were from the disintegrated silverware basket. He cleaned everything up and took away the old basket.

I called and spoke with Mark on 12/12 as our washer had been leaking water out of it. He offered to have someone come out that day to diagnose and repair. He was very helpful and answered all of my questions before scheduling someone to come out the next day (which worked better for our schedule). Technician (Matt) called in advance and arrived on time, was friendly, quickly diagnosed the problem (hole in drain hose) and repaired the problem. I rated quality an N/A since this was just replaced today and we haven't had a chance to run a full load of laundry since but Matt tested it out and found no leaks. We are so thankful we didn't have to shop for a new washing machine this close to the holidays! Great experience overall and highly recommend this company. Cost was reasonable - $35 for the part, $125 technician time.

Called to get a dishwasher door that wouldn't close, fixed. They came out same day, on time and fixed the dishwasher door quickly. Price was a little steep for less than an hours labor and a $30 part at $150 but they did a good job and I'd use them again!

He can out within a couple of days after calling for an appointment. He was on time, courteous, and got my oven up and running within an hour. I would definitely use them again.

Had called another company on the list first and they didn't have an appointment for a week. Called Appliance Care and they were able to come out that afternoon - showed up on time, diagnosed the issue, gave me an estimate, left to get the part, came back and fixed the dryer. I am very pleased. They said they try to get out the same day people call - they should be promoting their service levels!

Have had Sears do all repairs prior to this. They were scheduled out until the first week of December. Called them this morning at 9:00 am expecting something later this week or next. They said how about today between 2:00 and 4:00. Arrived at a few minutes past 2:00. HAve had Dryer fixed before and it always was the ignitor according to Sears (more expensive) Matt the service tech said it was a fuse (much cheaper) Adjusted door on dishwasher which was causing leak. In and out in less that 45 minutes. I will be a customer for life. They are fabulous.

I scheduled an appointment frame of 8:00-8:30 am and the technician Chris was at my house promptly at 8:00. Chris was very professional and polite and I couldn't be happier with the overall experience!

Mr. Mark Benedict called to say he could come a bit earlier than scheduled, arrived as per that conversation, examined the dryer and determined what was needed and left for the one part he did not have with him, returned quickly and completed the repair and, at no additional charge, installed a new light bulb in the dryer (out for so many years we'd forgotten it had ever been there). The problem has not reappeared and the chamber is illuminated each time the door is opened.

Initial contact with Mark was VERY positive: He returned my initial query promptly.. I had been told by a couple of other providers that service would commence several days hence: Mark had someone out the next afternoon. Then, Chris spent the first afternoon diagnosing the problem; first attempt at replacing a faulty - and probably worn-out part! - didn't fit the bill. After the second attempt which necessitated - a different part, that, too, needed to be abandoned. Now, today! With a new computer-part replaced, it WORKS! Thanks to Chris - and to Mark for employing him! Chris was professional, clean-cut, and most cordial!

Tenants in rental house reported that oven was slowly dying; at times, it would work fine, but at other times, the oven wouldn't heat or the gas burners wouldn't ignite. I called Mark Benedict at Appliance Care on Tuesday afternoon; by 10 a.m. the next morning, his repairman was on the scene (he even waited patiently for me to show up as I was running a few minutes late). An hour and a half later, the problem had been diagnosed and repaired.

My freezer was running all the time and the ice cream was soft while other things were frozen. I called Mark at Appliance Care late Tues afternoon and set up a service call for early Wed. morning between 8 and 8:30. Matt called in the morning to let me know he was on the way and was here at 8:20. He found the problem, explained what it was, fixed it and was on his way around 9:30. What more could a person want, prompt service, knowledgeable courteous service man and a fixed freezer.

It went extremely well. I felt I needed service within 3 days. I provided them with model number and exactly what I needed on the phone. They were able to accommodate my service needs later the same day that I called in. When the repair technician came later in the day, he had the necessary supplies and assessed the problem as a plugged drain in the freezer area. He repaired it, installed exactly the right filter I needed, and offered me tips on running this particular frig/freezer and answered all my questions. I had other questions about my dishwasher and my clothes dryer and they answered them. I requested he add cleaning the dryer venting today, and they accommodated my request. Charges were enumerated and I agreed. I had a minor resulting problem after the repair and called in and received the necessary advice for it via phone. I feel this is a good working organization and I am happy to select them on Angies List. They service a range of appliances, and I will gladly use them in the future.

There is not much to tell. The service technician just took it out and went on his way.

Repair was good, but put chip in paint when put back together.

Our freezer started acting up and was not keeping things cold anymore. At first it was just the icemaker and water line that stopped working, but over the course of this week the actual freezer started to fail. I called several different places yesterday to see if someone could come out in the afternoon. Appliance Care was the only one that answered and said that they would try to work me into their schedule given they would be in our neighborhood. Sergio called me about 1 hour before to let me know that he was on his way and what time to expect him. He showed up promptly and was able to diagnose the problem. He replaced the the defrost switch and timer, but unfortunately didn't have the exhaust fan needed on his truck. At this point, it was after 5pm and he advised me to wait until the next day to get the part vs. having them call to open the parts shop and spend a bunch of extra $$, which I greatly appreciated. He also gave me an estimate of what he thought the entire job would cost prior to leaving for the day. He then offered to work me into his schedule for the next morning. He called me at 8:20 this morning to let me know that he had gotten the fan and would be to my home by 8:40 to install it. He again arrived right on time, made quick work of installing the fan, and the cost came out right on his estimate from yesterday. Overall, I had a great service call from this provider - Sergio was very professional and prompt, walking me through his findings and advising the best course of action to solve the problem. He also gave me some handy tips along the way. I will definitely use this provider again if needed and highly recommend them.

Mark arrived on time with a great attitude. He did not have to replace the motor because it was just jammed. He could have talked me into replacing it, but explained that he had the same brand of washing machine and he said they go forever.

Went right to work when arrived at our home. Brought correct control board and dryer motor with him. Had dryer apart in no time. When an additional part was discovered to be needed, I offered to go pick up the part and he went to work on the washing machine while I was gone. By the time I returned with the dryer part, her had the washer repaired, tested and running.

I called about 09:30 in the morning because the oven would not heat. A few minutes later I got a return call from Mark, and he asked me to perform some basic tests that indicated the heating element was bad so we made an appointment for later in the day. Mark promised that they would call before they arrived. About 1:00 we got a call and Matt showed up shortly after that. It turned out the problem was in in the relay board and the oven sensor. Matt had a to make a trip to pick up the proper parts, and then returned to complete the repairs. The oven is now fixed and I can use it again. The service was prompt, professional, and all work was completed as promised. I couldn't be happier and will use Appliance Care again

I called this morning about 10:00. Though this was not an urgent situation, they got me in the same day and were here about 3:45. Within a 1/2 hour the part was replaced and the oven was working perfectly. The installer was very professional, made sure to answer all my questions about other things that could go wrong with the appliance, and made sure that I was happy with the service. I suppose it was a pretty simple repair for him. I guess this part is the one that tends to go out on a gas range. However, the speed and professionalism made it a great experience. I would definitely use them again if needed.

The washing machine had not been working well and finally didn't work at all. We gave them a time window and they were promptly there. He immediately got the machine running, but it made lots of noise, the control panel didn't work too well and the agitator is pretty loose. Recommended the machine is on its' last legs and that we replace it. Very reasonable charge for the time and professional advice we got. Thanks

This provider is fantastic. Sergio, arrived on time and spent hours trying to diagnose the problem. He eventually changed out the soap dispenser. His price was extremely reasonable given the amount of time he spent at the house. However, when we ran the dishwasher, it still didn't work. Sergio came back out and spent more time trying to identify the problem at no extra cost. The new diagnosis revealed that it was the control panel. Now it works great. The professionalism and willingness to stand behind their work, is outstanding. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

Very happy with the service. Called and they were able to get me in within a day. Showed up on time. Found the problem right away and fixed it. Also checked to make sure there was no dust and lint accumulation in the dryer and the vent. Will use again!
