Chris came out at the last minute to help me disconnect and move my AC so it was out of the way of some other work being done the very next day. He did this quickly and cheaply. He then was able to return a couple of days later and reconnect in a new location - again quickly and cheaply. Super easy to work with and bailed me out.

The repair person, Sergio, called to give me warning that he was on his way, well within the time I was told he would come. He arrived and went promptly to work. He diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate and did the repair. He explained the problem and told me how he would fix it. After he replaced the igniter, he made sure it work by cycling the oven up to 350 degrees. He explained the warranty and told me to call if I had any problems. Very prompt, very quick, very professional.

Very professional, will use them again.

Chris was great - he explained what had happened, what he was doing to fix it and assured me that with how he fixed it - I would not see the issue again.

Very good experience. I received a call within 24 hours of leaving a message, and was given the likely diagnosis and repair costs. I made an appointment, and the service person was on time. A quick visit included diagnosis and repair.

I cannot say enough about how great they were in helping to fix my dishwasher. Chris even tried to give me suggestions over the phone to save on the service call. The problem turned out to be more complicated then first suspected and I really appreciate all the time both Sergio and Chris put in to this issue. THANK YOU so much - this was a complicated fix and I really appreciate that you still returned my calls even when the manufacturer was not responsive.

called on Friday at 5 on a holiday weekend to get a microwave repaired. Got a call back from Chris in 10 minutes. We scheduled a time for the next week utilizing a 2 hour window. Tech Matt called and said he could be early which was great. Problem fixed in 20 minutes.

Chris diagnosed problem and gave estimate over the phone. Very experienced in his trade and he works with integrity. Thanks Chris!

The door on our dishwasher was not operating correctly and the lower panel (below the door) was loose. I called Chris, described the symptoms and gave him the model number of the dishwasher. He ordered the parts based on our conversation and then called me back when he had the parts to schedule the actual work. When scheduling, he used a 2 hour window. He arrived on time within the window. I really liked this approach because I meant I didn't have to be home first for a visit to look at the problem and then later for the actual fix. I will use him for the next appliance repair!

Called on 4/25/2014 and left message about issue that freezer door wouldn't stay closed tightly. Chris called me back within a hour or so and I described problem. We agreed that it was a bottom cam that wore out and he could replace part on Monday afternoon. Chris was prompt and called before he came. He removed door and replaced cam and adjusted door. It took about 20 minutes to preform service and would not hesitate to use them again.

I called and left a message regarding the need for dryer repair. I did not receive a call back after two days so I called again and left another message. I was told that they had been extremely busy at that time due to the weather. I accepted this answer because we had a need for another repair and we were told the same thing when scheduling this repair person. We scheduled the date (January 30) for Chris to come to take a look at the dryer. He called to say that he was ahead of schedule and was wondering if he could come come earlier - which was wonderful. He reviewed the dryer to determine that the upper cabinet needed a new steam unit component. He contacted his supplier and was told that there were 15 in stock. He said that he ordered it and would contact me when it arrived and would then schedule the next appointment. I asked him how much I owed and he said that we would pay when they installed the part - I thought that was very generous of them. Chris was very friendly during this visit and seemed knowledgeable about his work. I had not heard back from anyone and finally called Chris on March 11 and left a message as to the status of the replacement part. A few hours later I received a voicemail message telling me he needed to speak with me regarding the dryer repair. We finally connected and he informed me that my first voicemail message triggered him to find out what happened to the part. Evidently, the part number that he had given them had changed and he was sent something that he did not know what it was for and returned it. I'm saddened that at that time this Maytag part did not trigger that he was awaiting a part for us. He did some research to now discover that the part that we need no longer exists. I asked about calling Maytag directly and he told me that he could not stay on hold for a long period to check it out. He was also told to maybe check E-bay but that is something that they do not do and would not be able to guarantee that the part was right or worked. While I completely understand that parts become no longer available for older model appliances, my disappointment with this company is that I had to do the follow-up after 1.5 months and was basically informed that they forgot about it. I informed them that they needed a better tracking system for customer follow-up. I know that this and quot;slip-upand quot; was not done on purpose, I am just so disappointed as they were rated SO highly on this list. I am not sure at this time whether or not I would call upon them again for service.

The service was great! The cost was reasonable, they were on time and professional. They diagnosed that the water pump on the dishwasher had to be replaced, but when they went to install the new one they found a pushpin in the old water pump intake. So, he pulled that out and didn't need the new pump, and saved us $90. I really appreciate his honesty, and they did a great job!

In October of 2013 Sergio came out and put back together the highly complex ice maker in my Fisher and Paykel refrigerator. It has several mechanical parts and the entire unit just kind of fell apart one day. Sergio didn't need any parts to put it back together but it did take a little time due to the complexity and the fact that it was hard to get to and work on. After being put back together it operated several months before it fell apart again. It wasn't a result of Sergio's work. The unit had just gone bad. I ordered a replacement unit directly from Fisher and Paykel and Sergio came back out in February to install it for no additional cost. I was very impressed with Sergio's and Appliance Care's professionalism and the fact that they didn't charge for the return trip to finally get things working correctly. I'll definitely be using Appliance Care for any future appliance repair work!

Mark came out to the house within 24 hours of when I called him. Unfortunately, my oven is and quot;deadand quot; and can't be fixed, but he provided me with suggestions on replacements and other considerations. I appreciated his quick response and honesty.

The technicians were great. They called when they were on their way so I could stay at work rather than wait at home. Once on the job, they quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it. I was very happy with the service.

They came within a few days of the call. The guy took the machine apart only to determine that it wasn't worth repairing, the parts would have cost close to $400 so I just bought another washing machine.

I had a water leak -- from the back of my refrigerator -- so Appliance Care came out and Sergio, the technician, quickly diagnosed the problem and completed the fix. It was a bit time-consuming, yet he was so gracious and professional and -- while he was doing this work -- answered some questions I had about other kitchen appliances. This is the second time I've used Appliance Care and would highly recommend this company.

I have an older Kitchenaid washer, that although in very good condition, has started to act up recently. On 1-18-14, the washer stopped during the wash cycle with the tub full of water. I called Appliance Care LLC and spoke with Chris. Chris was familiar with my washer since I had him out for a repair back in August which was for an unrelated issue. Chris was enroute to another repair, but said he would call me as soon as he completed that job and let me know that he was on his way. He followed through with the call and was at my home approximately an hour and a half later. As with the previous house call in August, Chris was professional, knew what he was doing and resolved the issue promptly. Needless to say, since this is my second experience using Appliance Care LLC with excellent results, I would definitely recommend Appliance Care LLC to friends.

Two plumbers had told me that my 12 year old dishwasher was done for and needed to be replaced. It had been leaking water for a few days and we could not seem to stop the leak. Before I replaced it, I wanted to be sure it wasn't fixable. After reading the excellent reviews of Appliance Care on Angie's List, I called and talked to Mark. He was very patient and listened to the whole long story of water leaking into the basement and two different plumbers coming out who both thought the dishwasher could not be fixed. He told me a couple of possible things that could be wrong and what would be worth fixing and what would not. It would be $78 for a service call to determine the problem. He would send the proper part along in case it was fixable. It was worth it to me to get a clear picture of what was wrong and whether I needed to invest close to $1,000 to replace the unit. He set up an appt. for the next day. Technician Chris came right on time and was able to replace a part and get everything working for $178. He also suggested ways to keep the dishwasher working in the cold weather. I learned to run hot water into it daily even for just a short rinse during this cold weather. I was very happy with the time and expertise of both Mark and Chris and I felt I could make a good decision based on their advice.

I contacted the owner, Mark Benedict, on Monday for a quote. He estimated somewhere between $700 and $800 for the job. I reported the compressor readily available and he had availability within two days. We scheduled. Service Technician, Chris Carlson, called in advanced and arrived a bit early, which worked out great. He was professional and courteous. He laid down blankets for his tools and parts and wore protective coverings on his shoes during the job. Prior to beginning the work, Chris asked if I'd mind if another Service Tech stopped by to watch the job and learn from the installation at which point he began the job of swapping out the old compressor for the new. The other tech showed up and the two of them completed the job in little over two hours. I was satisfied with the work and our refrigerator seems to be running quietly and to our satisfaction. A job well done!

Excellent. They were able to come out within an hour and a half from when I called. The repair was simply a frozen pipe. Matt explained all to me and told me what to do to prevent and what to watch for. I was surprised at how quickly they responded, the honesty and quality. Would definitely use again. Plus I love supporting small company.

The washing machine was making a loud noise and wasn't spinning anymore. Chris realized the problem right away and fixed it by replacing a part. I left a message late at night and got called back first thing next morning and I was able to shedule an appointment the same day. Great experience and would definetely use them again.

First of all, the responsiveness was great. I emailed the company late in the evening on 12/30/13 and received a response within the hour. They told me a standard install was $130 but that they had a few questions to ask in order to provide a more accurate bid so they asked me to call them the next day. I called them the next day and answered their questions explaining that my hood range was hard-wired, in-between cabinets and was not vented. They were then able to give me an accurate bid. They told me to install an over-the-range microwave where an existing hood range was would be $150 plus $10 in parts and about $12 in tax (The total was $172.40 so they were spot on!). They also told me that they could schedule me as early as the next day (New Years Eve). I told them that I had a few other companies to talk to first but that I'd call them later that evening or tomorrow morning. They were not pushy and said that'd be fine. I respected that response. After talking with other companies and collecting other quotes they were by far the most professional and affordable. The only cheaper option would be a handyman service but I felt an experienced professional was worth the extra premium, as long as it was fair (which they were). I called later that evening and was still able to schedule it for the next day. They typically give 2 hour windows but they were able to make it 4:30-6PM (90 min window) since the earliest I get home is 4:30PM. This was very helpful. As far as the service, it went very well. The technician Matt did a great job. He called about 2:30PM letting me know he finished his previous job early and was able to come by sooner if that worked for me. I told him that an earlier arrival wouldn't work due to my job but it was great that I had an opportunity and that he offered. He then arrived promptly at 4:30PM. He put on booties to keep from tracking in snow which was a nice touch then went straight to work. He was very efficient in the use of his time and was very professional. He was very helpful in answering my questions and provided me tips on how to maintain the microwave as well. He then took my microwave's packaging with him (nice bonus) and even told me how much to list my hood range on craiglist. From start to finish, I was very happy with this company. I would highly recommend them and would hire them again.
