Description of Work: I called and talked to Mark. I had issues with my dryer and refrigerator. Rather than just schedule a service call he had me describe what was going on with each appliance. He could tell rather easily from my description of the respective problems what was wrong with them. From that he was able to give me a ballpark cost for repairs. As it turns out it makes more sense to replace rather than repair. This has saved me time and unnecessary expense which is much appreciated. If i have any problems in the future Mark will be my first call.

Description of Work: Another "A" for Appliance Care. I called because the igniters on my gas stove weren't working properly and not giving a flame. I called at 2:15 and Chris was here within 45 minutes. Turns out one knob had been removed and forced back into place losing the metal attachment. The other burner wouldn't ignite because the wrong plate had been attached after cleaning. Obviously not life-threatening but he was so nice and I am grateful for my piece of mind, especially when the smell of gas was getting strong. Will be looking through Angie's for new housekeepers...

Description of Work: A week or two ago my washing machine stopped working, so I called Appliance Care (having found their name in the Angie's List magazine) to come out and look at it. The service man (Chris, I believe) came within 24 hours to look at the washer. Within five minutes he had diagnosed the problem--a broken lid latch--and within 30-45 minutes he had fixed the machine. He was very prompt, courteous, and professional. I would definitely call Appliance Care again.

Description of Work: repaired refrigerator that had a bad sensor thermostat. reviewed and recommended a repair on garbage disposal NOT be done but rather a drain be cleared down to street.
