water softeners
 + -1 moreRepresentative did a great job of outlining the options. I also installed a twin tank fleck water softener with a whole house carbon system. 1/3rd price of Kinetico 1/3-1/2 less than Culligan/Ellingson/Eco with less pressure. I liked it so much that I had him install the system at our cabin. Since the install, whenever I have had questions or concerns, service has been exemplary.

 + -1 moreIt cost a chunk of money, but the price was about half that of Kinetico's system which is nearly identical. A month later when we went to change the filter we realized there was not a water shutoff by the system so it was a little inconvenient. We asked the sales rep about it and he said that was not part of the package but agreed to come back and install a shutoff that we had purchased. Overall, we're very satisfied. The system seems to have solved our iron and smelly water problems.
Description of Work: We purchased a Fleck 9100 twin tank water softener with whole house carbon filter from Traut Wells. It was installed quickly and neatly.
