+ -1 moreEverything went smooth except Traine AC unit was damaged in shipping container. They identified problem and obtained new unit. Pleasant, helpful staff! Job was completed to my full satisfaction. Only outstanding item is rebates from Centerpoint & REA which they filed for us. Cleanup & disposal of old units was handled well. I obtained competitive bids and they were 10% below others. Reviewed bids with contractors to assure comparable equipment in bidding.

The serviceman was there immediately, shut the water off, replaced the parts all within a couple of hours. + 0 moreJosh gave us a quote of about 4 hours to getting the system working properly. He finished in less time than that so the cost was less than his quote. He went over the system with us and explained how everything is suppose to work including different heating and cooling zones in the house. The A/C system works well and there is air flow throughout the whole house. We are very satisfied with Ellingson Plumbing, Heating, A/C, & Electrical. Their Geo-Therm Technician, Josh knew what he was doing, offered several ideas on how to repair the system and more importantly, made the repairs within the prescribed time and price quote.
Description of Work: Our Geo-Them heating & A/C system was not working properly. The master bedroom and bath had minimal heat and air conditioning. These issues have been an on going problem since the house was built in the summer of 2012. After being out to the house several times, the original heating & A/C contractor could not resolve these issues. The Ellingson Technician, Josh inspected the system and within 20 minutes found several problems with the original Geo-Therm heating & A/C system installation. Josh explained what he found wrong and gave me an estimate to repair. We gave him the approval to repair. Josh re-wired the LP forced air heat to kick on immediately when additional heat was called for. He hooked up the medium - high speed fan for additional air flow to the master bedroom and bath. Re-calibrated 3 thermostats as heat only and reset the 2 remaining thermostats dual heat-A/C thermostats. He also found a burned out zone damper motor that needed replacing.

Besides doing all of the plumbing and heating work at my business, I have had them do numerous other projects at my home and have referred them to customers of mine as well. I have occasionally heard people say that they are expensive, but you get what you pay for!!

+ -1 moreEllingson is a good company overall and does exceptional work. However, their prices are quite high and they only deal in Trane. Due to time constraints and availability of service, I had no other options. There was some work not completed per estimate and layout, but upon contact the company was very willing to make it right. Great work, good product, great availability. Just be ready with the pocket book. I literally had a bill in my mailbox the same day the crew left! Another came 3 days later! Their billing department is certainly quick service as well. This kind of put me off. The mail couldn't have even gotten to them before they sent a second bill...that seemed a bit ridiculous.

I thought that they were very professional and were very careful in our house. I have a very good opinion of the people and their service.

+ 0 moreWe have a lake shore cabin and it was built in 1930. It is vintage and it has a lot of plumbing needs. They have always done nice work. They are expensive but they are reliable. They have the key to the cabin so they can close it off in the winter if we need them to or start it off in the summer. I really trust them. They were very professional. Every time I have problem I call them. They installed the ductless air conditioner and they did a good job. It is beautiful and I would have not trusted anybody else with this leaning cabin. They did a marvellous job. They are very professional.
Description of Work: We used Ellingson Plumbing, Heating, A/C & Electricaling for plumbing. We have used them for years. I forgot to do something to my outside faucet and it froze and broke. I had water all around the bathroom and they came right out. Last summer I bought ductless air conditioners from them and I loved them.
