Mountain Side arrived when they said they would. They did our driveway/sidewalk project in what I consider an excellent manner. They returned to remove the forms and perform final clean up. They left the project area very clean and straightened up. All and all, we are very satisfied!

Mountainside was easy to work with and I was pleased with how the staff listened to my questions. The work went quickly and cleanup was nice. My neighbors (some are in construction) complimented the results. I ordered concrete color tiles from Davis Concrete Colors. The web picture and color sheets don’t show them accurately. I can’t say enough good things about the staff and their crew. They arrived on time to do the work, were respectful of our property cleaning up at the end of each day, and provided a great product. I would highly recommend them.

Contractor did a great job. Plenty of communication and replied promptly to emails. Did the work in a timely manner and cleaned everything up when done. I was especially impressed when they came back to fix a couple issues including one that required several hours to repair. I would definitely hire them again.

The crew did a great job. They were prompt and efficient. The patio looks just like what we wanted and they were able to get the job done within our timeframe. Great communication with the company as we worked to pick out style and color of the concrete. Over all very professional. We recommend!

The workers arrived one day early and finished the job in a single day. The slab lays even to the driveway making the moving and storage of trash bins easy. Scheduling, invoicing and payment was easy.

Mountain Side Contractors widened my driveway and installed a concrete patio in the backyard. They were professional, on-time, and provided quality work. The concrete pads that they installed are 4" thick with rebar, control joints, and expansion material along the edges at existing concrete. I enjoyed working with Mountain Side Contractors and would recommend them.

This is the first time I have used Mountain Side Contractors. I found them on "Angi". From the first contact with them (initial call from Brenda) to the last encounter was outstanding in EVERY way! ALL of the staff was highly professional, extremely responsive and provided excellent workmanship. In this day and age (difficult to find a company that encompasses superior quality, professionalism and good value - along with people that want to work) - it is so refreshing to experience a company who stands by their word, exhibits the utmost integrity and professionalism. They showed up on time, were very respectful to my neighbors (noise factors) and always cleaned up after themselves as they found it. Cuco and Brenda were top notch in everyway. They kept me abreast during the entire process. I finally found a company that I can rely on! I will refer them to everyone I know, and will only utilize their services for any future projects! We got in touch with Mountain Side Contractors on a referral and we are so glad we did! They completed 3 retaining walls in a very sloped backyard as well as poured 2 concrete patios and a sidewalk that ran from the back of the house all the way to the back of the yard. They used colored concrete and had a selection of colors and stamps for us to choose from. They allowed us to make a few changes and additions along the way to make sure it was exactly what we were looking for. They also assisted us in raising our block walls. They arrived early each morning and completed everything in the time they said they would. We received a few quotes and theirs was the best. Coupled with great reviews online and a friend referral, they were the obvious choice for the project. They did an excellent job and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again and recommend them to neighbors, friends and family.

Hired Mountain Side to move a cinder block wall section and also raise another. Submitted a request for quote via Angie's List and receive a call within an hour. Mountainside sent a rep to my address within a week to generate a free quote. Cuco spent about 30 minutes reviewing my plan and gathering measurements for the project. A quote was sent to me that night and a team arrived a few weeks later to complete the project. All work was completed promptly and professionally. I was present at my property to complete a final inspection before payment, and minor issues I noticed were completed before I made payment. Mountainside also accommodated my last minute modifications to the original plan, after I requested a couple pillars in the new wall section be completely filled for additional strength. I can't say whether the price they gave me is superior to other contractors, since they were the only company that responded to my requests. However, I felts the price was reasonable for the project. Communication with everyone at Mountainside was easy and prompt, and they contacted me prior to moving forward with any step along the way. I definitely will reach out to Mountainside to complete any future masonry projects I need done down the road. Definitely recommended!

Super! Showed up as scheduled. Did a GREAT job. They were professional and friendly. They turned our general idea into a really nice layout/design.

A neighbor's nearby cottonwood tree had buckled our existing driveway so we needed the old driveway removed, roots cut and a high density, reinforced driveway poured. All work was performed as stated. The company said it might be a few weeks before they could schedule me but found an opening so that I got the work completed in less than a week. The receptionist, Brenda, was very communicative at all stages. Concrete finishers were clearly highly skilled. Owner, Cuco, checked on work consistently throughout the project and personally made sure everything was tidy at the conclusion. Beautiful work. I am extremely happy with the finished product.

The concrete driveway at my home was about 40 years old and had been breaking up for the last decade or so. I knew I had to replace it but I was concerned that doing so would damage the sewer and gas lines that run under the driveway. Then I noticed that Mountain Side was doing some of my neighbors drives so I spoke to them about my concerns. They assured me they could do the work without disturbing the underground utilities. They removed the old concrete WITHOUT using a jackhammer. Safer on the utilities and quieter. I then stress tested my sewer line by filling 2 bath tubs and started them draining them, at the same time I flushed 3 toilets and turned on every faucet in the house. No backup. They then put down some rebar (the old drive did not have rebar) and poured the new drive the next day. I now have a new attractive driveway that my granddaughters can use as a canvas for their chalk art. COST: I checked several other contractors and Mountain Side was on the low side of the average. WORKMANSHIP: Excellent Practically a work of art. CREW: Professional and courteous. They knew what they were supposed to do and did it. NEATNESS: Excellent All construction debris was removed and landscaping on the side of the drive replaced neatly. OVERALL IMPRESSION: Very pleased with the outcome.

The work went great. This was the most positive experience I have ever had with a contractor. The quality of MountainSide's work and customer service was outstanding. When MountainSide evaluated my project, they took the time to listen to my concerns, discussed different options for completing the work, and gave me a detailed, written estimate. Unlike the other contractors that gave me estimates, they advised me upfront that part of the work required a city permit - I checked and they were right - and took on the responsibility for getting the permit and complying with all pertinent city ordinances regarding the work. Their work crews showed up on time and did a great job. They were polite and efficient and they took the time to explain what they were doing and why. More importantly, the quality of their work was outstanding and they cleaned up the worksite at the end of each day. Finally, MountainSide's customer service was outstanding. They kept me up-to-date on the status of the city permit, worked with me to schedule the most convenient date for the work, and followed through with me on every step of the project, including the removal of the cones and barricades after the concrete had hardened. I have hired several contractors through the years, and although I have been generally pleased with the work, the quality, efficiency, and level of customer service provided by MountainSide Contractors was absolutely outstanding. The next time I need work done, I will not hesitate to call them. If you are looking for a contractor that will show up when they say they will, a contractor who will make the effort to fully assess the project and give you a fair price, and a contractor who will be there for you every step of the way, you cannot go wrong with MountainSide Contractors.

The work was very well done with good quality and on time. The workers showed up when they said they would and asked questions to make sure we where happy with the work. They cleaned up after their work and stayed on budget.

We needed to transform an eroding flagstone staircase to a sleek concrete staircase. The price quoted was fair. The crew was on time and courteous. They worked diligently to complete the project to our satisfaction. Great job! I strongly recommend this company.

MC bid 4000 psi concrete with rebar, although driveways are typically 3000 psi with mesh. Crew arrived on schedule. First day was old driveway removal then prep for the pour. Put in 1/2 in rebar on 24 in centers with standoffs. Very meticulous. Took them from 7 AM until about noon. Pour started at 6 AM on the second day. Extensive careful finishing which wasn't completed until about 11 AM. They put a lightly brushed finish on it. Third day one of the crew returned to remove the forms and generally clean up and touch up. Crew obviously knew what they were doing. Resulting driveway looks excellent. Can't comment on durability for about another 10 years or so. :) Overall, MC did an excellent job and I would use them again and recommend them to others. They stepped on a couple of plants, but that was unavoidable. No issues whatsoever.

They were on-time for the estimate but pricing was expensive. They however seemed willing to negotiate on pricing.

Mountain Side showed up on time as scheduled, completed the work as planned and on time. Our job entailed going from bare sand to cement patio with decorative rocks and gravel, planting of native plants, irrigation, turf installation and a flagstone walk. The entire crew was courteous and would ask for our input if there was a question. We were given the opportunity to select materials from multiple vendors and were able to pick exactly what we wanted. Would use them again and would recommend them to others.
