Everything went well. The showroom has a great selection of granite slabs, and it has pieces that range in price to fit most budgets. I shopped around at other places and found the best deal here. The installers were on time, courteous, and quick. Would recommend to anyone.

I liked the product but there several things which were frustrating. There was water stains for some reason which I did not have in my previous house and I was not able to get the part they cut out for the sink. I would not use them again in the future.

the material over $250 per square foot. Unbelievable! Needless to say, I did not purchase and would not recommend them. By the way, they also have a showroom which is less than 5 miles from my home and would still charge multiple trip charges.
Description of Work: Went to the showroom looking for a 4' X 3' countertop to put on my island (12 square feet). It took fifteen minutes for someone to talk with me, my service person was under 20 years old and she did not know what she was doing. After I explained to her what I was looking for and my dimensions, she left for another 15 minutes to prepare a quote. When she returned she told me that the material (recycled glass countertop) would be $3500 for my 4' X 3' countertop plus 2 trip charges and if the installation was difficult, that would be an additional cost. I was shocked. I asked her to clarify and made she that she understood what I was looking for and that it was only 12 square feet. She told me yes, but that I would need to pay for the entire piece as they would have to order it in. I showed her the piece in the warehouse and said that it did not need to be ordered. She shrugged her shoulders and told me the same thing she did the first time. That would make

The final product looks great, but is was a pain to get there. Good: Final product, installers, handyman. Bad: the third party plumber, the front office in keeping track of what was going on when and making sure it happened correctly. The plumber especially was bad and tried to get away with two pieces of poor work. My wife caught one and made him come back in the house and fix it before he left (I was not home) and I caught the other immediately once I got home and made the handyman (pre-install work) come back to fix the plumber's lousy work. The guys who performed the install (other then their third party plumber) did a great job and the final product looks great. The front office, however, needs to get on the ball: After ordering what we wanted over a month in advance, at the one week mark we got a call that the sink we ordered would not fit. Really, it took you three weeks to figure that out and put things into a panic to choose a different option and pray it was in stock and would get here in time? Unacceptable process. When they came to do the install, after the counter was in place they opened the box with the sink in it to find the granite composite sink was broke. Even I (and I've never ordered a sink before) knew that these sinks have a bit of a reputation for getting damaged in transportation. To think they don't know this and then didn't bother checking to see if the sink was OK before showing up is again unacceptable. So we had to wait several more days for the second sink to arrive and get installed. Way to much of a circus around the sink for things that should have been obvious to a company that only installs counters and sinks. They did try to help fix the problems and eventually did to our satisfaction, but these are problems that should never happen with a company in this business full time. Again, the end product, however, is superb and looks fantastic. The route to get there was way to bumpy, so I'm 50/50 on doing business with them again.

Note -- that in the end we are generally satisfied with the final product. Also that we found everyone we worked with to be very personable and professional. The salesroom and granite presentation process is very good. The Problem -- First the company measured the countertops for our kitchen. When the granite was delivered, one of the granite countertop pieces was incorrectly cut. The installers made some measurements and then took the piece back to be recut. They returned in two business days and the piece was still wrong. The installers did some adjustment cuts on site and then with some shifting around of the pieces got it to fit fairly okay. To me the company needs a better process to handle in-home installation problems.

They did a fantastic job. Mike and Mary took excellent care of me from the moment I called and informed them of what I was looking for. My wife and purchased a home and wanted to update the kitchen. We had researched a variety of surfaces and had some idea of what we were looking for. The staff was extremely accomodating as my wife and I looked through samples and picked the stone we wanted. They definitely went the extra mile in helping us choose. One of their guys came out and did a field measure to get exact dimensions for the fabrication. He was on-time, courteous, professional, and very helpful. We also purchased a sink as part of our project and the process was easy and affordable. The new counter tops when installed looked outstanding! We could not be happier with the overall product. The counter tops are beautiful, the install was completed neatly and on time. I would happily reccomend anyone looking for countertops (grantite, quartz, etc.) to call Mike Mowers.

When we decided to install new counter tops we decided on Silestone as our choice. We shopped around for Silestone dealers thru Angie's lst and decided to go with Victory Tops and Services. We made many trips to their showroom and and talked to Mary at length. We felt very comfortable with the process and decided to use them for the project. The whole process went like clock work. They came out and did detail measurments and said it would be about three weeks before the counters would be ready. One and a half weeks later Mary called to lets us know the counters were finished. We set up an install date for a week later. The crew showed up on time and did a fantastic job on the installation of the counter tops. Mike and his co owner (sorry I forgot his name) showed up as their crew was about finished to thank us for the job and go over it before his crew left. We are replacing bathroom counter tops in the future and will give them a call.

The countertops that they installed are high max which is like corian countertops, but it is $1,000 less expensive than corian countertops. For the most part our experience was good, except that they did not finish the job properly. They wanted to put grey caulking around the top and it did not match the countertops. My husband had grout from the ceramic and we asked if they could put that instead of the caulking and they said that they did not have the tools, so according to me the job wasn?t finished properly. The two owners are terrific guys, but they did not finish the job properly. We were still pleased with the overall work. I think their prices were average.

Dear Member I am sorry that you feel the job was incomplete, i had know idea that there was an issue, i wish you would have called me and i could help to understand our situation. when we install countertops up to exsisting tile we try to do our best to fit the the countertop backsplash as tight as possible to the tile so that a color match caulk will hide the transition, if the gap is larger then we expected then the fix might be grout. unfortunately we do not have the tools or the experience to grout tile, we specialize in countertops. The caulking that we were going to use was a color match to the countertops we installed. again i am sorry that you were not 100% satisfied, we try our best to achieved perfection, but there are situations that somtimes dont allow us to do that. thank you for your report

It was a really good experience. They provided me a rough estimate based on my faxed dimensions and stock grantie. When I finally found the right granite for my kitchen, they updated the estimate (of course, I wanted a top tier granite) and gave me a new quote. I also asked them to quote the removal of my existing counters and installing the new sink. I accepted, and we scheduled a field measure. JJ was great. Very detailed, took a lot of time to get the measurements right. I showed him my new sink and it was one they had never installed before (introduced earlier this year). He asked if he could take it with him to make sure the cut out was right. He also said they would take a final measure for the backsplash the day of the install to get the exact height between the new granite top and the bottom of my windowsill. The install was scheduled for 1 week later and went off perfectly. I told the team I was going to reuse the formica and asked if they could be careful when removing it and help me get it to the basement when it was out. Both were no problem. They cleaned up everything before they left and measured for my backsplash. About 3 days later, they stopped by again and had the backsplash installed in about 10 or 15 minutes. I love my counters and am really glad to have them. I did call around for price from 2 or 3 other companies and I didn't find anyone who could beat them.

We chose them because of the positive comments they had Angie's List and the low cost. I liked that they came when they said the would. When they measured they paid attention to detail, so installation was a breeze. They were careful not to ding my cabinets. They made sure everything was level. They went above and beyond what was expected and I appreciated it.

They were great to deal with. We originally saw then at the home show in Apple Valley and went to their showroom. They were very helpful discussing our options and giving advise on matching the tile we were installing. They came to our house to do a final measure before placing the order. We were going to pick up the shower base when it came into the showroom so we didn't have to pay a delivery charge. We needed to have it installed because Victory doesn't have a plumber to install the drain. The material didn't come on the day it was supposed to. I think it came in a day or two later. Because it was late, they delivered it to our house for no charge. They did install the countertop and the shower walls and did a very nice job. They were there right on time. They were very pleasant people do work with. The only 2 things I wasn't really happy about were having to find a plumber to install the shower base and having to pay the delivery charge for the shower base. Even though we ended up not having to pay it. I think with as much as the shower and countertop were, delivery of the base should have been included.

We went with a different company first that screwed everything up, and Granite Tops was highly recommended to us. They were very professional. They called 2 days ahead to say they were coming on this day. They had good follow up and were accommodating. They have worked with sever companies on our project. Their pricing was middle range. They really did a good job. If something came up, they knew how to deal with it.

I had granite countertops installed by another company about 3 years ago. They did not do a good job of installing the countertop. The seam in the counter top broke and one side was lower than the other. I did not want to use the original company for the repairs. I called a few installers however; I was told they were not interested in fixing this problem. My last call was to this company. Within two days of my call, the owner was at my house and looked at my counter top and he had an employee come to my home a few hours later to fix the seam. The employee was very professional and explained everything to me and did a great job of repairing the seam. If I ever need another countertop again this company will be my only call.

They walked us through the process, and they made it clear for us. They were very good with the installation, easy to work with and very nice people. They also put in a new quartz composite countertop in the bathroom. We had a small space and suggested they have remnants that we could use.

We chose Hanstone for our kitchen counters and a Blanco Silgranit under mount sink. This company answered endless questions from me, let us take samples home and came out and did a thorough measure and estimate. Once we decided what we wanted the counters were installed within a couple of weeks. The crew who did the install were great, very professional and cleaned up after themselves, they put down protection on my floor and checked and cleaned the counters before they left. The only thing (which was pointed told to me beforehand) is that there had to be a seam in our longest backsplash piece. I wish the stone were made to be able to do one long piece, but perhaps that is not possible. I was really pleased with this company and everyone who I talked to from the company was very knowledgeable and I felt they were all concerned about doing a good job. I will definitely be calling this company again when we are ready to work on bathrooms.

I first met one of the co-owners, Chuck, when he came to take field measurements. He was a friendly enough guy, but when we were chatting he shared intimate details about his business and it's earnings and tax liabilities. Although the conversation seemed innocent enough, and he was just trying to get advice from me given my background in accounting, it nonetheless seemed unprofessional to me. Further, it frustrated me that I got one answer about the installation date prior to my down payment, but another after I had committed. That said, they did accommodate my installation date requests, and I am happy with the quality of their work.

Great experience from start to finish. We went to store in Apple Valley arriving just before close. Mike stayed 30 min late to talk with us and explain all the options. (Bonus: very cool with my high energy 2 year old and gave him a squishy ball with permission to THROW. Oh boy!) We brought home lots of samples. When Mark came to measure, he kindly gave us his thoughts on countertop and sink color and style. He let us know where we needed to further work on the cabinets. Much appreciated! Heather was patient with us while choosing a faucet, which they needed to know for drilling the holes. Two weeks later countertops were installed - very quick. Work crew was very nice, polite, and went to extra lengths to protect house from getting messy. No question was too dumb, and the foreman took some extra time to give insightful tips on countertop care and positioning height of oven and dishwasher. They made the countertop work with our warped walls and unsquare corners.

There were several major hiccups to the installation, starting after Kristina left. First, the measurement team did not show at the appointed time. It was not documented in their books. When I called, Mike apologized for the inconvenience and Chuck came out later the same day. After measuring, Chuck forgot the specs on the sink I purchased separately, so I drove that to their office and also paid the down payment. A few weeks went by when Mike called me to ask what layout I wanted for the faucet holes. I did not think anything of it at that time, but did remember that when they brought the stone to install. They had not matched the holes in the counter to the holes in the sink I bought. Since the under mount sink was cast iron, they sent it out to recut new holes in it. Starting at roughly 11:00 AM, they finished working at 10:00 PM. After they had left, I noticed the desk counter top was not level. That was fixed a few days later. There were also some invoice errors.
Description of Work: Victory removed an old Formica top and installed a solid surface counter in my kitchen. Measurements had to be precise, since the counter top profiled a bay window ledge with several detailed contour cuts.

Kristina provided several estimates (with and without backsplash, with and without tear out and disposal, etc.), and answered several questions via e-mail. She was very helpful and prompt with her responses. While this was the one of the lowest of three other bids for full slabs, I did end up going with another company that offered to show me remnants which reduced the price significantly with by going with one seamed piece. Victory Tops would have been my second choice.
