 + -1 moreJohn was very responsive in coming to do both the estimate and the actual job. He clearly had thought about the job ahead of time, so it went smoothly and efficiently once he was here. He also fixed another door for me while he was here which was over and beyond expectations.

 + 0 moreWhen I first contacted John, he seemed friendly and intelligent. So I scheduled an on-site estimate. He arrived on-time. During his visit, I became more convinced that he had experience as a qualified builder. He also gave a tip to make the project better (which I did). Then I scheduled him for the job. He said the job would take 1-2 days. I had never seen a door replacement so I was curious to observe a lot of the work. John didn?t seem to mind. He seemed like a social person and I think we both enjoyed conversation on both days. The installation and door operation is top notch. His cost estimate was in line with other estimates I received, but because the quality is so high, I suspect his value is among the highest. I will definitely contact him for future work.
Description of Work: On day 1 he arrived on-time. He brought a helper (Dale) who was also friendly and capable. After the 2-man work was done, they cleaned up for the day. John did not request partial payment, which reassured me that he would finish the job in a timely manner. Day 2 he arrived with materials and equipment that were not expected to be needed on day 1. He showed patience and flexibility in working with me to get my preference for trim. He demonstrated precise attention to detail as he measured and installed the trim and storm door.
