Very bad experience. The work was never done. I kept well-documented notes, and they are as follows: August 16, 2012 Michael White, President of Concrete Leveling Inc. came to the house to give me an estimate. He was very assertive during the estimate. He gave me a very detailed description of what he will do and the reasons why others fail when doing this type of work. Over the course of the next few days, I agreed to hire him, and we scheduled the job for September 5, 2012. Wednesday, September 5, 2012 Mike called me at 9 a.m. to inform me that his crew called in sick and he would have to figure out a place to squeeze me in and reschedule me. I asked him why he has to squeeze me in, that I should just be the next job on the docket. He said it doesn’t work that way. His Office Manager was returning that day after a 4 day holiday weekend, and he would call me later that afternoon to reschedule the job. Friday, September 7, 2012 Mike never called me back, so I called him in the afternoon to see what was going on. He told me that his crew graduated from college and gave him a one day notice when quitting. He was going to have a different crew do the job and work on Saturdays to make up for the work. He said that he would have a crew over next Saturday. He will call me early in the week with the details. Saturday, September 15 Mike never called me during the week. I called him and asked him what time I could expect the crew to begin working. He told me that he can’t believe that nobody from his office called me. He was in the hospital in Ann Arbor and couldn’t have a crew there today. He said that I will hear from someone in the next couple days. I said that if I don’t hear from him by Tuesday, I will have to go with someone else. He said that I will hear from someone before Tuesday. Thursday, September 20 I never heard back from Mike, so I called him again. He said that he must not have read his own notes and forgot to call me back. He is going to have a crew here on Saturday, September 22, unless it rains, then they will be here on Saturday the 29th. Saturday, September 22 It rained the entire day. Saturday, September 29 I never heard from Mike, so I assumed that the work would be done today as promised on the 22nd. He never showed up. I called him and left a message. He never called me back.

Overall, the work was done as expected. They cleaned up well afterwards. Definately met my expectations.

After I spoke to the office an estimator provided a quote for the job within a few days as they promised. I have used this company before to do walkway leveling few years prior. However the actual job had to be re-scheduled several times - once due to insufficient material, once due to weather and one more time. They did call ahead and inform me of the reschedule however.Since it was not urgent I did not mind the delay. The work was finally done to my satisfaction and as outlined in the written estimate.

We have a 3 season room attached to our home which seems to have settled causing a separation in the bricks. We wanted to see if the mudjacking would raise and level the floor. Kevin called back almost immediately after I sent an email asking for an estimate. Kevin took the time to stop by our home while we were at work. He then called me to ask a couple of questions and his first impression was that he couldn't be sure if the mudjacking would be the right process and asked if he could think about it for a couple of days. Three days later he called back and said he would like to see the space better when we were home and he could see the inside walls rather than just the exterior. We arranged a time that worked for both he and my husband. After closer inspection he thought the best way for us to progress was to use concrete expansion filler and monitor the area(s) to see if the settling was ongoing or had stopped. After that determination we could better decide how to proceed. Amazing to meet someone who wasn't just out to make a sale. Thank you!

They came out to level my concrete last fall and they did a great job. I would give them an A rating and will use them again.

Good The type of work that was needed could not be done by this company. Had to call someone outside of Angie's List.

They did a good work. I was very happy with the results. I would use them in the future.

We had interviewed 8 other companies and just were not satisfied with all the varying solutions proposed for our bowing and leaking basement walls. CLI's solution seemed reasonable, cost-effective and tailored to the scope of our problem. It seemed like the best long-term job, so that we would not have the issues in the basement again. Darrin was always prompt, efficient and professional. Calls were answered quickly. It has been less than two months, but no problems. CLI also has a better warranty than the others we interviewed. Over all we are very satisfied.

The job went well. One slab they couldn't do but it had to do with my neighbor's driveway connecting to it. They did a very good job.

Estimator came out and provided a written estimate while I was at work which was nice. The work was self explanatory, so I didn't mind when they offered to come over and perform the work while I was at work also. This saved me from having to take a day off. The invoice for the work was mailed to me and overall the concrete is very good. I have a small amount of filling to do where the pads separated slightly and some more blacktop to fill where the drive meets the garage approach, but this is expected.

CLI previously performed concrete raising/leveling on our driveway and sidewalk by the front porch with excellent results. This time they came and sealed every joint in the driveway and by the front porch to prevent water intrusion underneath. They were very prompt with excellent communications and workmanship. The two men who performed the work were very personable. As a result of the overall leveling/sealing operation at our residence, our neighbors have since contacted them and will be having some work done at their residence. We are still amazed at their CLI's ability to make our driveway and sidewalk by the porch look like it did when the house was new 6 years ago. Thanks!

The leveling went very well. It took one entire day, but the driveway and walk are the same level as when we built the home 6 years ago. Very impressive. CLI was very good at communicating and followup, and was very prompt.

Overall I'm quite satisfied. Despite the huge demand for this type of work in Ann Arbor (because the city started enforcing its ordinance) the company was responsive and on time. The estimator came two days after my first phone call. Once they gave me a date for the job they came on that date and did the work. A couple of days later I got a bill in my mail. I did not have to pay an advance - I appreciated the level of trust. There were just a few minor snafus: 1. It took the estimator several days to respond to my voicemail. 2. After I notified the estimator that I accepted the bid, nobody called me back for two weeks. (When I called the main office I got the date right away.) 3. The total work done was a bit less than on the estimate, but that was not reflected on the bill. However, when I called and pointed that out, it was corrected and another bill issued. The guys did a good job, including cleaning up after themselves.

The company's representatives were very polite and professional. They were very prompt, both in returning phone calls and in coming out to provide the estimate. The quality of the work was very high- it surpassed my expectations.
