Geo Tech Heating and Cooling

Geo Tech has been my go to provider since their inception in Yale. I was not happy with the company that did the installation of my system so I contacted Geo Tech for all my services over the past 18 years. They kept my system going and got my heat back on when the system shut down appropriately on the coldest day of the winter this year. While parts are crazy expensive for Geo Systems they have strived to keep their labor rates reasonable.

Geo Tech is exceptional when it comes to sales, service and installation! They have been our HVAC company for 12 years now and I highly recommend them for all your heating and cooling needs! Don’t go anywhere else!

John and Dianne are great people to work with. We built a new home in Lexington MI and we wanted green technology with heating and cooling. John came to our property and provided detailed information how the system would work for us and how it would be installed on our property. The system is awesome and the expense is way lower than traditional heating. We are very happy with the customer experience. 2 years later, we added onto the home and John Jr and his workers came out to install our heating vents. Again, quality work that he is following John and Dianne's footprint. All the workers were extremely polite and helpful especially during the pre and post Covid that we all had to deal with.

Geo tech has been a very reliable company for me for years. They have helped with maintenance of my geothermal system for the past 8 years and have been there quickly when I needed them in emergencies. Last fall they installed a new closed loop for my system and it has never worked better. They are quick to respond to messages and I never have to wait long to get service. They are professional and I will never have another company touch my system. I highly recommend geo tech for all of your geothermal system needs.

We have been using GeoTech for years for our Geothermal system. They have consistently been reliable, courteous, professional and very reasonably priced. Had to call them out for an emergency in the middle of winter and they came right away and got it up and running. My husband had them install a special light (cant remember whats its called) during Covid. We have never had any issues with them and continue to use them. Highly recommend Geotech!

Fantastic! John, Carter, and Diane were great to work with. Highly-qualified and professional. Work was very neat and clean. John is extremely knowledgeable and informative. John & Carter did a great job installing the new furnace, outdoor a/c unit, gas line, and wiring. Diane was great at scheduling everything! Highly recommended!

Geo tech did my home in jeddo then when I built my home in Lexington I hired them again. They were very reasonably priced ($10,000 less than our other estimate!) They are knowledgeable in placing duct work. And when I built my home in Lexington they even accommodated my wishes about not putting the duct work against my exterior walls and ran them inside the interior walls to avoid possible condensation problems. Even though it was code to put it on the exterior walls.

Worst experience. Had to re-hire electrician to fix all the mistakes. Wires were cut to several lighting sources in our home. The electrical box (I am not an electrician and don't know the technical names for all these items) had to be to code. The company, Geo Tech, denied any fault (btw this was new electrical work we had done in our newly purchased, but older home), but stated they would come back to put in a new dimmer switch when they were able to find the right color (which was white).... weeks later after calling them they still weren't able to find a white dimmer switch!! What a novel color...not! Thumbs down.

This was an absolutely horrible experience. I was surprised as I have dealt with Geo Tech geothermal system in the past. They installed a geothermal system for the home we were previously in. We dealt with John. Everything went well, so this was a no brainer to use them again. This time we dealt with John's son, who is very nice, but not thorough. He had a very young man working with him. We ended up having to have our electrician come in and fix everything they did (such as cut wires for lighting inside and out... mind you we just paid over $1000 for the electricians to come in). When I tried to address this with this business, they were extremely terrible to deal with. When they came back out to look, they said they needed to buy a dimmer switch and they'd be back. Weeks passed and nothing! When I called them, they gave me the dimmer switch song and dance again, saying they were looking for the right color (this is a white dimmer switch!!). I believe we pain Geo Tech nearly $2000, maybe it was more, but my husband deals with the money. We actually paid over $3000 due to the fact that we had to fix what they had ruined. They should have manned up and fixed everything, but they didn't. THUMBS DOWN. BTW I did estimate on the date of service, but it was last summer. I am still upset and don't want people to experience this.
