 + -1 moreI feel they were just trying to sell me everything. All I needed was a flapper on my toilet and I took care of it myself. I let them go before they actually did any work for me and they still charged me $83.00.
Description of Work: We had Roto rooter check a running toilet and change out a sink faucet. They told me I needed a brand new toilet and new shower head so I asked them to leave.

 + -1 moreI have been using Angie's list with great results for years(originally from Kansas City). We just bought a house in Ada and the toilet was running. I didn't have my internet so I relied on the yellow pages. Chris, the service technician, advised that the toilet was bad and I had to buy one from their company. Also he stated he could not install the shower head I bought, as it was the wrong type. He told me what I needed to buy. I decided to wait on changing out the fixtures and was told that he would charge me $75.00 just for showing up (he was there for less than 10 minutes). Or, I could buy the right shower head and he would only charge me $125 to install it next week. Needless to say, I received an invoice from Roto-Rooter for $83 ($75 for the ten minute service call and $8.00 for "fuel").
Description of Work: None. I had a toilet that was running (bad flap) and called Roto-Rooter to change out the flapper. Since they were going to come out I also bought a new shower head and faucet to be installed.

 + -1 moreTHEY DID A GREAT JOB. THEY WERE VERY QUICK ON GETTING THE JOB DONE. THEY WERE UP FRONT WITH COSTS AND IT DID NOT SEEM TO BE SOMETHING THAT THEY WEREN'T FAMILIAR WITH.
Description of Work: I HAD THEM COME OUT TO REPLACE THE SEWER PIPES BECAUSE WE HAD CLOGGED PIPES.

 + -1 moreI'M IMPRESSED WITH ROTO ROOTER AND THEY ARE A GREAT COMPANY. IT WAS FOURTH OF JULY WEEKEND WHEN THE PIPE GOT A HOLE IN IT. ROTO ROOTER WAS THE ONLY COMPANY THAT WOULD COME OUT. THEY FIXED THE PIPE AND THERE HASN'T BEEN ANY PROBLEMS SINCE.
Description of Work: THEY REPLACED A PIPE IN THE KITCHEN THAT HAD A HOLE IN IT.
