The initial delivery and service of renting the dumpster went fine. The reason why I am rating them an "F" is because I was overcharged and they management/owner is unresponsive with my request. I rented a 30 yard dumpster for a weekend from Plummer's. They asked me what I would be throwing away and I said we were removing some small stones and dirt from our residential yard. My credit card was charged for the amount I was quoted but then a week later I received another invoice (not a bill) for disposal overage. This second overage charge was more than the initial price of renting the dumpster. The individual working the phones explained that there is a tonnage allowance of 4 tons with the 30 yard dumpster. I understand the fee, however I was not made aware of that fee for overage before, during or after the rental. Nothing is noted on their website of this fee either. As I mentioned earlier, I received an invoice, not a bill, because they charged my credit card that was on file from the initial invoice a seconds time, without getting my authorization to do so, which is against the law. I was hoping to resolve this directly with the company/owner but am starting to lose patience with the lack of responsiveness. I have been advised to call my credit card company and file a dispute if the owner/management does not respond to my request within the next day or so.
