I called to schedule a repair on my garage door. It is a beautiful, heavy, wooden door from 1929, and I feared the worst...that it would need replacing! Jerry, from Overhead Door, was at my house within 10 minutes of my call. He fixed it quickly and did not have to replace any parts. I am very happy with this company!

We went to leave for the day and the garage door wouldn't open. Inspection showed that one of the springs on the door had snapped. I checked Angie's List (not a commercial for them) and found Overhead Door had received good marks. I called them around 9 AM and they were able to get a technician out the same day. The time window was small (between 2 and 5) which was nice. I asked that they call on their way out (we live in the middle of nowhere and I needed to get out of work early to get home). They arrived around 3:30 (without calling first, their only negative) and were finished in about 45 minutes. Everything was done in a professional manner and I am satisfied with the work. The technician was very friendly and represented his company very well. I would definitely use them again.

I cannot say enough about Patrick, who helped me concept the door and find one that was just right for me. He patiently went through several iterations on the software program that allows the customer to see what a particular door will look like on the existing structure. What I envisioned (Clopay Coachman Collection - carriage house type) was more costly than I had hoped, but I have never regretted spending the extra money. I knew, since I had to drive up to it everyday, that I better like it! I have received several nice comments about the door since I've had it installed. Patrick was very soft sell - efficient and responsive - but he gave me the space to make the right decision for me. I recently had a little issue with the opener, but, again, Patrick was responsive and came out to fix it when I was at work. He even offered to come back to show me how to release it in case of a power outage, which I still need to have him do. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience with Overhead Door. I initially looked at the company because of their great reputation, and they have lived up to it. I highly recommend them.

Overhead door was able to find the right fix without cutting through the load bearing headers on the garage. All the work was done in a professional manner and to our needs. I would recommend this company.

The spring on the garage door of my new-to-me house broke, the cable on one side snapped, and the cable on the other side unwound -- resulting in a door that would not open (with my car inside). Overhead Door responded the same day, and fixed the problem. The tech was very pleasant, and I thought the price was very fair.

The repair was quick (about 30 min.) and the person they sent was courteous and professional. He did not have a replacement spring on his truck so a new one was ordered. They returned about 9 days later to install the new spring. The whole process took about 45 minutes. The tech. also checked the entire door and opener for anything that needed adjustment or repair and oiled all of the hinges.

They were prompt, professional and did a wonderful job. Door is actually quieter than it has ever been.

The spring had broken on my garage door and we had continued to use the operator and "assist" the door to go up on that side. After a few days, the operator refused to work and we couldn't raise the door even after pulling the emergency cord. Luckily, the car was outside. I had used this company before so I called them in the morning and was given an early afternoon appointment. I was told that they would likely have to change both springs (they are over 20 years old) and possibly the operator as well. The estimate for the spring change was around $200. Shortly before the appointment, my child became ill and we had to go to the emergency room. I called the company and told them my problem and left the service door open. Upon our return from the emergency room, I tried the remote opener and the door opened! A bill was left for us at the backdoor and it was less than half the estimate. The contractor had been able to repair the spring rather than replacing it (although still recommended replacement soon due to the age) and got the operator to work. They left the garage clean, turned out the lights, and closed the service door. I could only tell they had been there because the door opened and they had left an invoice. My only concern is that the door doesn't close completely now, it lacks a little under an inch of touching the ground. I noted this on the copy of the invoice when I sent the payment and expect that they will be back soon to correct this glitch.

I was very pleased with this company's work. I'd recommend them to anyone.

The counterweight on the door got messed up, and the door would no longer open. I had managed to get the cables off. In the process, I had managed to tear the door opener connector off the door. At the point I decided to call for help. They fixed all my mistakes in about 60-90 minutes. It just cost the service call. The door is working better than ever. Very friendly and professional.

They advised us to rewire the garage and put in some more wood supports in order to accommodate the new door. They took off the old door, disposed of it and installed the new door. The only thing I don't like is that the sensors got bumped all the time, and we have to readjust them in order to have the garage close. I would think there would be a better way to house them so that they aren't so easily moved. Their price was comparable to other quotes that we got.

I HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE DOOR. THEY MADE SURE THAT THEY GOT THE JOB DONE RIGHT. THEY EVEN GOT RID OF THE OLD DOOR THEMSELVES. THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB.

THE COMPANY DID A GREAT JOB WITH MY GARAGE DOOR. THEY ARRIVED TO MY HOME AND TIME AND COMPLETED THE WORK RATHER QUICKLY. I ALSO FELT THEY WERE VERY POLITE THE ENTIRE TIME THEY WERE HERE.

THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL AND POLITE, AND HAVE A GREAT SENSE OF PRIDE IN THEIR WORK. I HEARD ABOUT THEM BY WORD OF MOUTH AND AM VERY GLAD I GAVE THEM A CALL.

I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY CAME IN, DID EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE HIRED TO DO. THEY DIDN'T OVER CHARGE ME AND THEY DID THE JOB IN A TIMELY MANNER. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB INSTALLING THE GARAGE DOOR OPENER.

THIS SMALL COMPANY CAME TO MY HOME TWICE. THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND NOT TOO EXPENSIVE. THEY ALSO LET ME KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND WALKED ME THROUGH IT WITH THEM. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THEIR WORK.

ORIGINALLY THEY CAME OUT TO REPAIR OUR GARAGE DOOR. INSTEAD, THEY TRIED TO SAY THE DOOR WAS UNFIXABLE. JUST TO SELL SOMETHING FROM THEIR PRODUCTION. WE FEEL THEY WERE VERY DISHONEST AND NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL AT ALL.

THEY DID QUALITY WORK AND WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. IT WAS OBVIOUS TO ME THAT THEY KNEW EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE DOING. I WAS ALSO OVER QUOTED, SO IT WAS NICE TO SEE THEY DIDN'T HOLD ME TO THE ORIGINAL QUOTE.
