Bath Tub Re-Glazing. We are focusing our efforts on Interior Remodeling and are doing less and less exterior projects, usually only as part of an interior project.

While we appreciate the great comments and the Straight A's grade, we don't have a record of completing any work for this member. Perhaps it was done under another name and at another address. In our 29 years in business, too, we still haven't been able to figure out how to remodel a Kitchen OR a Bathroom for only $40 yet - but we're working on it! Thank you for the wonderful review - we're just trying to keep our information on Angie's List as accurate as possible. I apologize in advance if I have this wrong! Description of Work: Replaced laminate counter and backsplash with quartz countertop and subway tile backsplash. Also replaced kitchen sink, faucet, and disposer. Job exceeded our expectations.

(Response prepared by Mark, our Senior Sales Design Representative who met with the customer twice and prepared a preliminary design and cost estimate for him.) "Unfortunately, we were not able to work with customer on his project. "I had an initial meeting with him at his condo where the scope of work for the remodeling of his kitchen was discussed. I took detailed measurements and photographs of the existing kitchen cabinets and the walls that were to be removed. "I then returned to our offices and generated a new kitchen design showing all of the changes desired. We had a second meeting a few days later here at our HWC Showroom to go over the project and preliminary pricing. Unfortunately, customer had what I believe was an unrealistic budget for the extensive size of the remodeling he wanted done. He mentioned to me that he had one quote from a competitor that was 160% higher than my preliminary estimate and one that was 93% of our estimate, or 7% lower. "I believe he said that he was hoping to spend what turned out to be about 33% of our estimate for the entire project. That sometimes happens - some prospective Customers experience 'sticker shock' despite our ongoing efforts to remain a very price-competitive, full-service design-build remodeling company. "After discussing the project for an extended length of time, we both mutually agreed that HWC would not be a good fit. I wished customer good luck with his project and we parted ways very amicably. "HWC has had no other involvement in 's project and we don't understand his 'C' rating for Quality when we performed no work for him. While we DO appreciate his 'A' ratings for Responsiveness, Punctuality and Professionalism, we're puzzled by his overall 'C' rating. "Obviously he wasn't crazy about our preliminary pricing, but that sometimes happens - It's part of the Free Enterprise system. Isn't that great?! "We wish customer well and a great outcome with his remodeling project!"
