He did an excellent job of reducing the height if the chimney and capping it. He was polite, friendly and efficient.

Needed repair of my garage after a truck backed into it damaging the brick work and the frame. They were able to quickly do the job, and despite the old brick, they were able to do a fantastic job at matching it as closely as possible. Very friendly and professional, I'll be hiring them again for any future brick work!

He was very responsive and courteous. Looked at the project within 24 hours of contact. Once I was ready for the work to be performed he came out within 2 days and completed the work in one day. Left my yard very very clean and went out of his way to install a chimney cap I had sitting in my basement.

Boonstra Masonry was fantastic all around! They were very responsive to my phone call. The owner provided me an estimate fairly quickly and once we decided to move forward, his crews came within that week. They performed the job while I was at work and when I got home... tada! The experience was a positive one and I have zero complaints!

They were prompt with the estimate and were able to schedule the repairs within our limited timelines. They weren't the lowest bid, but were inline with other bids we received. The original brick was 30 years old and no longer manufactured. They matched the existing brick as well as they could, offering three different options. They were neat as they worked and cleaned up nicely.

It went well, when I called he said he could get the job done next week which was a lot earlier than other places. He and his partner helped us remove the fireplace insert which was quite a job! The entire job took about 3 to 4 days, and looks beautiful. I would highly recommend Boonstra Masonry.

After the initial phone call left the date somewhat vague, and I hadn't heard from them, I called to set up a specific date and time. I was told that they had gotten very busy, but that someone would come on the morning of May 7. I waited all day, and no one showed, and no one called to explain why. I called on May 8 and inquired as to what was up, and the receptionist took down the information and assured me that someone would get back to me. There was no call. So I will send my business elsewhere. I understand that companies get busy and can't keep their appointments, but the appropriate way to handle that is to take the initiative and make a phone call.

Work was performed timely and professionally. My only quibble was the request for me to leave a check in advance of the work being performed. I did so, but it was a little off-putting. As a professional service provider, I understand not wanting to chase a payment. But I think he could tell from our house that we were no deadbeats.

Mr. Boonstra was extremely professional and did an excellent job. He was fast, though thorough with his work and we are already ready to work with him again on another project.

We are getting a new roof, and Boonstra Masonry and Repair repaired our chimney which had to be done before any roof work. We had called them and they called back and said they had an opening this particular week, and we'll give you a discount if you go with us. They were very prompt, the cleanup was outstanding. They made sure everything was done properly. We are very happy with them.

The chimney demolition was done carefully. The new chimney was was rebuilt and looks great. The cleanup was thorough.
