John differentiated himself from other contractors by actually doing what he said he would do.

I had John come in to install a Marblelite shower pan and walls. He quoted a very fair price and made it seem like he worked with this material all the time. After a few weeks, and costing me another $600 in plumbing issues he couldn't fix, he finally got around to installing it. The boards came in at 96" tall to be cut to size. Well he cut the holes for both the shower valve and head pipe before realizing it won't fit in the room. So now instead of being able to cut the bottom and still having a nicely finished top area, he had to add a big tacky trim piece to the top which I never wanted in the first place. Understanding the situation I decided to let him attempt to finish. He said the trim pieces would be done this weekend (4/7/18). I get home from work on the Friday before hand and notice a dirt trail from my garage through my master bedroom. I guess John had been there. Then I see the monstrosity of trim pieces they used, which doesn't even match the wall panels, the walls are a creamy white and the trim is grey. While I'm looking at that, I notice the wall panels are 1/8th of an inch beyond the shower pan, it doesn't even line up. Then on top of that, there is a 'patch' on the face of one of the panels where they have apparently chipped it and didn't bother saying anything. When John showed up the next day I had his tools on the porch and fired him. He did refund me $250 of the initial deposit but now I'm out $520 for the shower panels that now need to be replaced plus the other half of my deposit and the time and hassle of hiring another contractor to fix his mess or doing it myself. This whole process has been the biggest waste of time and money.

John was amazing to work with. He was very communicative regarding the work involved and time to complete the project. His prices were extremely reasonable. I will not hesitate to use his services again and will refer him to anyone that requires assistance with their own home! Thanks for a job well done.

They did a nice job on the repair. However, they were not very neat on the job and did not clean up upon completion of the project. Project was quoted at 4 days and ended up going over 3 weeks.

John did an excellent job. He was dependable, knowledgeable and did excellent work on a custom railing installation and wall repair. I will not hesitate to contact him for other projects, if required, and have already recommended him to my neighbors.

John is a true professional - he repaired my mailbox that was hit by a car - it was -2 degrees and he did a great job while freezing to death!

Very nice service attitudes with us and did a very good job although the one room had to be redone at no charge to us since we could see all the brush stroke around the edges. Looked like one of the helper's did a sub standard job the first time around. Mr. Dailey was prompt to come back and refinish and it looked great afterwards. Did a fantastic job on the ceilings where the first contractor had failed miserably and Mr. Dailey redid all the seams the correct way and now it is seamless to the eye.

John is a man of his word. He is Knowledgable, precise, and helps you with the finer details. He also Charges a fair amount for quality work. Best money I have spent in years!

We used John for a powder room remodel, it turned out Beautifully! He assisted in purchasing some of the items (faucet, custom cabinet, mirror...) pricing was very good. Remodel was very reasonable & completed in a short amount of time. We are very happy with his work. The only thing to note is that we contacted him several times to come back & fix a paint spot on the wall and look at another project we wanted to have done, that he was going to orginally look at while he was doing powder room, and although he said he would come back out we never heard from and fixed spot ourselves.

John was professional, on time, did very careful and thorough work and was finished with the project on time. He also kept the work area clean and uncluttered. It was a pleasure working with John via Service Magic. We would contact Servicemagic in the future for remodelling needs because of this experience.

Mr. Dailey was thourough in his explanation and listed all expectations on his proposal for the work. Work progressed efficiently and as promised. All work areas were cleaned of residue. Mr. Dailey is very personable, portrays confidence and trust, and is easy to work with.

Honest and responsive

John was very courteous and professional. He met his commitments and went out of his way to help us out. I would not hesitate to recommend John to someone else.

John's initial work on the ice dam repairs to our home's interior were done with such care and such a reasonable price, we added a lot more work all of which was done at a high level of quality. Once we figure out how we are going to redo another room, he'll be back in here to complete that.

job hired fro ot repaired sufficiently or completely. wouldn't fix properly saying more problems exist want those done before will provide actual fix. original problem still exists.

John Dailey did a great job on replacing my damaged siding, gutter and wood trim. He responded promptly, provided a professional quote, and delivered as promised. I would definitely recommend him to someone else.

This was our first time working with John. He kept us well informed, completed all work as promised and was very professional. He and his crew cleaned up everyday after work. He showed up with adequate help every day and was on the job with them (it was very nice not to have to supervise the job myself). We will be contacting John for our next job and would recommend him to anyone.
