Mosquito Joe of SE Michigan

Mosquito Joe is great. They were recommended and I’ve been very happy. I live on 14 acres half of it is woods. I have them spray just around my house and their product works great. I’m mosquito free. Without them I can’t enjoy my property. See you next year!

Results have been as advertised. Will continue to use this company. They also give a nice discount for preseason service.

We've used Mosquito Joe for the past two years and have been very satisfied with the results. We had mosquito issues for years, once we started using Mosquito Joe are problem was solved.

I used this company last year, they were so friendly and explained exactly what would be done. We had several sprays and it worked great. Not sure what happened this year, always a different tech, said they used garlic, but no garlic smell immediately after spraying (always could smell before), in and out in under 6 minutes. I called and said I had to cancel due to ongoing poor service, explained why and they just seemed like it was no issue. Very matter of fact , just said, sorry, your service is canceled. Save your money, they could care less about helping customers.

I called in May to request Mosquito and Tick spray around my home. Told them I wanted it setup for June and skip July because of our trip and then to start again in August. They told me no problem. And I would be scheduled for the week of June 12. Perfect! My family can enjoy the June month mosquito free! June 12 comes a long nothing. Checked and now the service was scheduled for the 19. No one told me. Now it's the end of the week and my schedule service changed again. June is already over and now I'm not going to need it for July. They don't want to follow up or inform me about changes. Telling me weather was to blame. But it would have been nice to have some communication. So unfortunately I cancelled the service will have to look for someone else starting in August. I can't recommend Mosquito Joe. And that's to bad.

It took too long for initial treatment. First treatment was scheduled for June 1st; but, did not happen until July 3rd. We are new customers because company we used for last 2 season is out of business. I hope their responsiveness going forward improves.

The first spray went fine. They called 15 minutes before arrival. Sprayed yard and applied "natural repellent" to garden area. Seemed to work. The second time they were out to spray did not go well. They told me they always e-mail the day before a spray so one can prepare their yard for pesticide application. They failed to e-mail me the day before this spray. They later admitted that their e-mail system does not work properly and people were not receiving e-mails. If they knew that, they should have called the day before to let me know they were coming. The e-mail, or some form of notification, is very important because it provides notice to pick up kids toys and other things you do not want sprayed with pesticide. I did not receive any notice other than a voicemail saying they were five minutes out. Too late to do anything or cancel. This meant they sprayed my kids toys with pesticide. They failed to give me proper notice to remove them. Also, the "natural repellent" they applied to my garden area is not safe for use in gardens. When I signed up for their "service" they said the "natural repellent" is safe for gardens. We did not have any problems after the first application. However, the second application was horrible. They dumped what appeared to be way too much "natural repellent" on the area. It was very thick substance like a powder and made the area small horrible; a garlic smell so strong it burned ones nose. We removed it from our plants but the damage was done. The thick "natural repellent" burned the leaves of our plants and killed some of them. What is worse is what happened when I tried to contact Mosquito Joe of Southeast Michigan. I called immediately when I discovered what happened. It was Friday afternoon and I was told someone would call me the next week. No one ever called. Two weeks later I filled out an online survey they sent me. I described what happened. That must have gone to a corporate office because they did call me back because of the survey. However, they were unable to refund my spray. (The spray that killed my plants and put pesticides on my kids toys because they failed to provide notice. They knew their notification system was not working and did nothing.) I was told a manager would call me the next business day to discuss a refund. As you can imagine, no one called me. I called three business days later and they would not let me talk to the manager. I hope I receive a refund. This "service" did not do what they said they would. They lied. Their office lacks organization and gives the a sleazy run-around when questioned. I would not recommend.

osquito Joe technician sprayed the requested full backyard area. Having two dogs, he told me I only needed to wait 30 minutes for the spray to dissipate before I could take them outside, again. There was no unpleasant scent. In fact, had I not been home at the time he sprayed, I would not have known smell-wise that he had been here! After the 30-minute grace period, I soon took the dogs outside to relieve themselves and there was no sign of the mosquitos. Though periodic spraying may be required for your area, I have not had a recurrence of the problem. VERY, VERY pleased with this service and highly recommend them without hesitation.

Mosquito Joe took care of our mosquito problem. Made it pleasureable for us to sit outside in our yard without having to swat mosquitoes. Awesome job.

Great... We can enjoy our yard and deck without the challenge of being swarmed by mosquitos.

Wished we had done this years before. Love to sit outdoors after work but mosquitoes have always been bad in the evening. Decided to try a commercial service after trying to do my own spraying. From the first application to the last we were able to enjoy sitting on the porch and not a single bite. Mosquito Joe is very good with communication letting you know in advance when they will be out. Grand children are able to play in the yard a couple hours after applications. Plan on calling them today for this seasons applications.
