THEY DO NOT BACK THEIR WARRANTY Both were installed incorrectly. The wood burning fireplace was damaged beyond repair from the improper installation. This unit was functional for only 4 months before it was deemed unsafe to use by a 3rd party inspector. Fireclass blamed us for the damage because we used a grate in the fireplace, no where in the manual did it say this was not permitted, or that it would cause damage. The manufacturer won't replace it because it was installed improperly, and Fireclass refused to replace or fix the unit. We will have to replace this ourselves, which will cost us $10,000

Good quality. Clean up wasn't great and they damaged some drywall, but I would still hire again.

Description of Work: Sprayed foam insulation inside a bay window skirt outside the front of my house. Received a quote over the phone and everything was performed while I was away from the house. Everything went well, however, there was a mix-up as to how the insulation would affect pets inside the house. It turned out to be not to be an issue.

These guys were incredible. I actually wrote a testimonial letter for them because that's how good they were. It was too difficult for me to get under there to insulate the ducts because they were so close to the floor joints, so I actually called the company that manufacturers the spray foam insulation and they this company to me. I looked up how this stuff was supposed to be done and the problems with it. When the guy came out to talk to me about it and inspect the problem I asked him different questions about it and he knew the answers to everything I asked him.
Description of Work: I had my crawl space insulated with spray foam insulation by FiberClass Insulation because I had an issue where none of my heating and air conditioning ducts were insulated or taped. In the summer time when it gets really hot and humid and that air meets the cold air coming from the air conditioner you get condensation, so it was raining in my crawl space.

I was referred to this contractor by my roofer (Spencer Roofing). My contact at Spencer said we could get a reasonable deal for the installation of insulation in our newly pitched roof. Spencer said they passed my information on to them on 11/8 and they would be in touch. I called personally on the provided cell and office numbers. I left a voice mail message on the cell and left a message with a person at the office location. I did not receive any response. My roofer spoke to me on 11/12 and stated that he has spoken to Shawn at the company and that he had PROMISED to come to my house that day and price out a quote. No one ever came out. I never got a phone call.

the vaporis!
Description of Work: I initially contacted BASF Corporation when I discovered that my crawl space duct work was "raining" (due to excessive humidity/heat meet the cold a/c duct lines). My house was built in 1993 and at that time code did not require taping or insulation of any ductwork running in the crawlspace! I examined the problem and attempted to do it myself and discovered that since the trukn line was attached so close to the floor joists, there was no way to properly tape it or insulate it to stop the air leakage and insulation problem. I called BASF about the possibility of using spray foam. They said it was an EXCELLENT OPTION (remember BASF manufacturers all insulation types)! I asked them several questions about off -gassing issues, foam thickness, vented vs unvented crawl spaces and they explained the following: 1. The floor of the crawl space should have a continuous vapor barrier that ran up the foundation wall at least 6". 2. Spray foam should be applied down the walls and overlapped onto the vapor barrier. 3. If code in my area permitted, the crawl space should be non-vented (crawl space vents sealed off). 4. All HVAC lines should be spray foamed. 5. All rim joists/bands should be spray foamed and sealed. 6. Off gassing occurring occurs

This past winter I discoverd that there was insulation missing on a small roof that was between my first in second floor. I contacted Fiberclass to ask them to send someone out to look at the issue and give me a quote for fixing the problem.Following my initial contact, I had no response from their construction manager for over a week. I placed a second call the following week and again left a message for the sales manager. He contacted me back later that afternoon. He started the conversation off with some what of an attitude about me contacting Fiberclass twice. Then, proceed to indicate that he would need to get back to me about getting something scheduled. After another week went by with no response, I called and told them I was going a different direction. I work as a consultant, and based on the level of customer service this gentlemen provided, I would not recommend anyone using Fiberclass in the future.
Description of Work: Fiberclass initially installed the insulation in my home when it was built back in 2006. Since this was new construction, they were contracted by the builder for the insluation.
