Metal Roofs of Michigan

At the time it seemed to go ok, however they did not complete the job. They were supposed to install the plastic pieces that help prevent snow from sliding off the roof. When we met with the salesman he said they would come out after it snows to determine where they need to be installed which we were fine with. Once the roof was installed they never came back out to install them and we called them before the following winter to get them to come out and finish the job they were supposed to do. The guy in the office said that it is not included and we would have to pay extra, but then the salesman that we worked with confirmed with him that he did say it would be included. Also they had dented the white metal trim that was already on our house so we mentioned that at the time also. They sent someone out to look at it and said they'd be back after winter and then they never showed up to finish the job and fix all of the dented trim. Since then all of our phone calls have not been returned. Another issue we had was with a dumpster we had to rent for the job. We paid to rent it and were told that if there was still room after the job was completed that we could fill it up if we had any other stuff to get rid of. We were excited about that because we had some other things that we wanted to get rid of at the time, but as they were finishing up the job they hauled a trailer from some other job site/sites full of junk and filled up the dumpster that we paid for for our job site! The roof looks good but they are definitely not a professional company and I would not go with them again when we decide to add on to our house. For reference the price was about half of what Montell Construction wanted to charge us.

Fairly well. Took longer than predicted. Had to have them fix a couple of things. Guys were friendly but kind of left work site in a mess during job - cleaned up at end. Initial contracting was rather "casual" - we had to track amendments as we went. Not always an on site manager who really knew the financial arrangements. End product - We are very happy.

Everything went well and as it was expected. I know from my research that MROM has 15+ years of experience. If it were up to me, I'd put a metal roof on every property.

our chimney cap was concrete and has cracked over time. with heavy rain, we experienced some leaking inside our house. instead of installing a new concrete chimney cap, a metal covering was designed to fit over the existing concrete cap. the job was done well and the repairs are likely to be long-lasting because we don't need to worry about temporarily sealing the cracked concrete anymore. the metal chimney cap was also designed to match the color of our roof and looks great. we're very pleased with the quality of service and the creative problem-solving that was exhibited.

It took a lot of time for the roof to be installed and they did an expert job.....lots of craftsmanship. This is not the kind of roof that goes on in a day and a half. But it will last a lifetime. THey did there own quality control and were really picky about it being perfect. I am certainly pleased. The end product does not really look like a metal roof (not shiny or bright or different looking), but it is discreetly attractive. These guys are pros and soooooo nice to work with.

We met with Eric R. in the spring and scheduled an instillation for June. The crew showed up on time in June, and spent about 3 days installing the new metal roof, and checking for other necessary repairs. The instillation went well, and we now have a new roof! Overall Metal Roofs of Michigan was professional, punctual, and did an excellent job. I would recommend them to friends and family. I will come back after a year and let you know how well the roof has held up (if I forget to come back, its probably because everything is great!).

Eric the owner has been out. He was very professional. He wrote up the estimate and ordered the snow guards and now we are waiting for the weather to break, so that he can do the work. The estimate was free, I hired him and I have given him a deposit. He has not put the deposit through yet, he will wait until he starts the work. I will be using him.

I called Metal Roofs of Michigan on Thursday, 8-13-13 in the early afternoon and left a message. A few hours later, Eric, the owner of the company, called back. We have a metal roof on a northern Michigan cottage and thought it might be a good choice for our Novi home so wanted some basic information and a price estimate since we know metal roofs generally are more expensive than asphalt. Eric asked me questions about our house and actually was able to see the roof (using Google maps or something like that) so he knew what type of roof we have. I had a number of questions and he answered them all. I learned that in addition to the "traditional" metal roof style, they also use metal shingles. We set up an appointment for the following Wednesday evening. In the meantime, he said he would do a rough estimate based on our conversation and the visual he had, and email it to me. I could then email him back to let him know if we still wanted him to come out and talk with us or not. I had the email by the weekend. My husband and I discussed it and decided it was probably more than we wanted to invest in our house at this time (we are in the retirement-age bracket)----so i emailed back my thanks and said don't come out to see us. I was very impressed by Eric's business style. He was upfront in letting me know a metal roof is more expensive than asphalt and not right for everyone, but if you plan to stay in your home for awhile, they will last your lifetime. And they also offer some other advantages we were interested in. No pressure---and he very sensibly sends a ballpark estimate before he comes out to the house so he doesn't waste his time or yours in the event the price is not in your budget. Eric,owner, made himself available for estimate, inspection of roof, very punctual, man of word,etc. We were and are very impressed with Eric and the product he sells. His willingness to match prices, offer help where and when needed and most importantly, he is willing to stand by his product by assuring customers satisfaction. All in all we would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone looking for quality for the buck, honesty, and respect of a person's time schedule.

It rained and the roof did leak when they first put it on. Supposedly they fixed it because we had to leave. The guy's name was Eric Rasche. As far as I know the roof is fixed and it looks really nice. They were $3,000 cheaper than another company that I got an estimate from. I liked Eric. He was a super nice guy and seemed real honest. I let them put a sign in my yard.
