We originally had a yard with some weeds and a giant hill and decided to do something about it. We originally tried to do the work ourselves and started to clear the pile and grass. Well, after several works of slow progress and it looking much worse than when we began we decided to call for help. After calling several vendors and either not getting a response or mind blowing high quotes a friend recommended All Type Landscaping. They immediately understood what we wanted and that while we wanted something very nice we did have a budget. They quickly did a computer drawing of their proposal and it was fantastic and much better than we expected. Of course with us now loving the drawing we cringed as we asked about the price. We were very surprised at the low cost and great value. They did a great job and did the work beyond our expectations. We now have a front yard landscape that we are proud of and are eyeing the backyard for next year!

We had a very difficult piece of property: a soggy backyard on a steep slope leading down to a lake. Other landscapers had plans for it, but none seemed to solve the underlying issues to our satisfaction. Thomas, the owner of All Type, came in and described at length how he planned to install drain tile to take care of our drainage issues and gave us options for retaining walls to give us the most usable property in the yard. Thomas was professional from start to finish. When we had concerns (and they were many), he took the time to talk them through with us, adjusting as needed. He ALWAYS returned phone calls and texts in a timely manner, very important to us as we were, at the time, dealing with several other contractors who were not as accessible. His work crew was polite and friendly. We ran into issues with our Homeowner's Association, which delayed the job while requesting more information. Thomas took the delay in stride, never complaining about the change to his schedule. Furthermore, he helped us provide the HOA with the information they needed, and got us back on track as quickly as possible. While the price of the job seems high, you'd need to see the scale of the property and its problems to appreciate how much work went into it. Thomas was very responsive to our requests, even though we weren't always the easiest of clients. He also added a couple of nice decorative touches at no additional cost, and the seed he planted seems to be taking very well. The drainage issues appear to be a thing of the past, and we now have a beautiful limestone retaining wall which will enable us to enjoy our yard next summer. We recommend All Type.

I contacted All-Type and Tom was able to come out the same day to look at my existing landscaping. He sent me a quote the very next day with photos & ideas of what I had in mind along with recommendations. Although Tom had a busy schedule within the next few weeks he was able to fit me in during the time I requested. What I like about All-Type is they were quck to respond, able to work around my schedule. Tom and his crew were very professional, and patient with me for positioning the ledge rocks were I wanted. Tom was good at making recommendations on what would look the best! Thanks Tom for doing a good job & helping with my much-needed Japanese bush. What was an overgrown Monster now looks like an attractive ornamental Japanese bush! Love it!! A big thank you for dropping off a healthy red-twig dogwood to replace my pathetic existing one that was barely alive. I love the work they did. It gives me something to look at everyday & he has made the yard that much more enjoyable. I plan to use All-Type Landscaping in the future for a possible waterfall & exterior Lighting.
