did not provide with service as he was booked but did respond promptly to my inquiry. Update: Art texted me back immediately, (did not ask if texting was OK) and said he was too busy to do my projects. He never gave me an option of service -three weeks later or at any time thereafter. He also texted me again after I submitted this review asking me to increase his grade. Sorry I can't give an excellent grade to someone who would not do the work.

Art was very professional. He responded immediately to my email. After exchanging pictures of the kitchen, he quoted the job fairly and thoroughly. He even did the job on the weekend - as it was a rush to get the appliance installed prior to a tile job in the kitchen. Art is a perfectionist and did a great job installing the appliances. He went way above and beyond by shoring up the counter compartment under which the dishwasher was to be installed. He stayed until the job was completed to my satisfaction. When the store provided a defective outlet - he even return it and came back the next day to re-install it. The job was done well, completed on time and priced fairly. Art was a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend him to anyone for a wide range of home improvement projects. I will definitely utilize his services again. He has my highest recommendation.

Art was clean, efficient, and thorough. He has completed 3 jobs for me and I could not be more than pleased ... Not only with the quality of his work, but also his level of knowledge and professionalism. I look forward to the next job.

He is extremely busy but did answer my email promptly and was very easy to work in some of the jobs that i need done. Very easy to work with and I am very happy thus far.

Art is a great guy to work with. He is honest, personable, creative and goes beyond what is required to ensure that the work is done correctly and safely. Art came up with several possible solutions to fix and fully re-secure our floating cabinet to the wall without putting support legs under the cabinet which would have distracted from the appearance of the cabinet. We had the new granite top installed by another company and we are more than pleased with the new cabinet's appearance and structural integrity to support the heavier granite top! Would definitely use Art again and would recommend him without reservation to others in need of his "handyman" capabilities.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Art. He was able to tackle all of the oddities that came up with the work I needed done - he's skilled, clever, resourceful, creative, professional and a problem solver. His prices were more than fair. I'll have him back anytime I need help with home repairs. Thank you Art for many jobs well done!!

What he wouldn't do was a ceramic tile installation over a solid hardwood floor, using a cement board underlayment.

Art did a great job replacing my kitchen faucet. He arrived on time; he was very neat; he cleaned up well after the installation. I love my new faucet. He was on time and on budget. I would definately use his services again and would not hesitate to recommend him to others. -Linda M.

This was the first time ever I was completely satisfied with a contractor's work. Art was friendly, personable, and very easy to work with. Our work requests were small but miscellaneous, and he was knowledgeable and quick to finish all of the requests to my satisfaction at a reasonable cost. Kept me informed while he was at work, at the same keeping my kids entertained too :) Definitely would like to work with him in the future if we have any other project. Thank you, Art!

We live in Commerce Township and I have used Art for more years then I can count (10-12). I was referred to him many years ago when we had another older home and needed a master handyman. Art is just that, I imagine I have used him no less then 30-40 times for different projects over the years. He is extremely knowledgeable, courteous, very honest, and a genuine pleasure to work with. We have actually developed a friendship based on the work he has performed. When he comes over now and I have to leave, I just tell him to lock up when he is done, we trust him that much. When we did our new home's kitchen backsplash, I went right to Art knowing it would be done meticulously and to perfection, instead of using the place we bought the tile from and it was. He thinks like I do, do it right the first time and take your time to get it done to perfection. He often comes up with ideas and options I have not even considered. I actually look at him as my home consultant if I want to bounce ideas off of him, even if it outside of what he would do himself. He was actually over here yesterday to do a garage drywall patch, install 2 new faucets, do some caulking, adjust a leaning mailbox and advise me on an electrical wiring question we had. If you are looking for a very honest, knowledgeable, meticulous and quality job, I can personally guarantee Art will not disappoint you, and if he does, he will fix it and make it right. There are not a lot of people that I have such high regard for in the services business, and when I find one, I want to tell everyone else my excellent experiences. He is just a good guy and knows what he is doing.

Contractor was 3 weeks out to perform what was needed, because of this went with another contractor which was only 1 1/2 weeks out.

Art was very thorough and took great care in all the work he performed. Very easy to work with/talk to. I would highly recommend Art.

Art assisted us with installing our hardware equipment in a shopping center. I could not say enough good things about the experience. It was A++ service from communication to preforming the job and then following up after the job was completed. Will love to work with Art in the future.

He completed the work as promised, charged a fair price. I will likely call him for other tasks in my rental home in Berkley.

I have rehabbed homes by hiring handymen and subcontractors in five states. It is very hard to find a handyman as good as Art Nanian. He is very knowledgeable in multiple trades, is well equipped with tools, is diligent about providing high quality work, and was reasonably priced. I highly recommend Art as ethical and a true professional.

I am extremely particular about things being done right and perfect, that is why Art is so valuable to me and my wife. He treats our home like his home and often will make alternative selections and offer ideas we had not considered. He is a true expert at what he does and takes the necessary time to do things right. We look at him as a member of our home since he has done so much around here and at our old home, thus I have recommended him often. We trust his work, his ideas and more importantly him in every way and I would never consider looking at any other person to do a job at our home. We usually save up a list of things to do so we have a full day of work for him, typically he is at our home (which is a new home) to work on our changes and projects about every 3 months. Feel free to contact me on here for any more information, but I can guarantee you will be happy you hired him. That reminds me, I have a few things on my list for him to do right now!

Fabulous. I swear, this guy can do just about anything. He will be coming back shortly to do more lighting fixtures, trim work. He is very professional, kind, and thorough. Can't say enough. He is now my permanent handyman.

I was originally looking for quote for caulking around windows to resolve air leaks. Art made the additional suggestion of removing the loose trim around some windows and insulating behind it. This turned out to a be a good suggestion as we found that the windows were not insulated correctly. I was happy with the quality of the work, and I would hire him again. The job took longer than expected, but Art stuck with the price that he had originally quoted. I chose to pay extra for his time because I was happy with the work.

First Art installed the gutter covers and downspouts. We had also asked for drain pipes and pop ups for the downspouts, which he had never installed. He did some research and came back with options for us in a very professional quote. They have been installed for several months now and are working great. We also had Art redo some work in a botched bathroom remodel from another contractor. Again he did some research and gave us some options. As he worked, he found more problems with the original work. He made sure that everything was redone correctly and at a fair price. Again everything is working great in our bath and looks great as well. Art is very professional to work with. He works through problems very methodically to make sure everything is done correctly.

Art came through again. We had a number of items that we needed to have completed following the inspection on the house we are selling. Art completed everything we asked, and he was even able to complete the electrical work. He provided us with an itemized invoice that showed the exact charge for each item as well as photographic documentation of the before and after for everything he completed. Art is professional, skilled and very reliable.

Art really bailed us out. Our house was going on the market the next day with showings starting at 9 a.m., and the handyman we had scheduled came out to give us an estimate - not do the work as requested. Our realtor recommended Art. He came out at 4:00 p.m. after another job and stayed until after 8:00 to complete the work for us. He did a fabulous job, didn't charge a premium for the late hour, and even did the painting on the window for free. I would absolutely recommend him.
