Chose Bob b/c he had a high rating, and also specifically b/c "free Brinks security" inspection was included. When I placed the order, the company neglected to put the security inspection on my list of inspections. Bob's report was thorough and made me feel confident, but when I asked "where is the security check?" he mentioned it slipped through the cracks and would call me back. Even though I said I only had 2 days left before I was required to get back to seller (I was the home Buyer; the inspection was post-Purchase Agreement, pre-Closing. Negotiations hinged on what the inspections determined), he never returned my calls. I also called the office three (3!) times to try and determine what the deal was with the (missing) free security check they offered and that I requested with my report. NONE of the phone calls were ever returned. It was like, once I paid (which was early in the transaction), I was non-existent. The report itself seemed really thorough. But for nearly $700, I felt like they could have provided everything I signed up for, or at least returned (at least one of!) my phone calls. There are plenty of other thorough inspectors out there. I don't think I'd recommend them to a friend, even though Bob seemed to do a good job on the report itself.

Bob Jeffries was extremely thorough, he spent about 3 hours on the property. He explained what he was doing and how unacceptable items should have been done or could be repaired. He was on-site 5 minutes early, compiled all of his observations on a Palm Pilot, downloaded and printed his report while on-site. He also promptly answered a list of follow-up questions, I emailed to him a few days later. He was also more competitive (by about 30%) than other quotes I received, yet I did not sacrifice any quality of service or attention to detail.

Very courteous both on the phone and in person. Inspection was thorough and the final report printed before they left. Both inside the house and outside (for the septic evaluation) great care was taken to keep everything clean and neat. Water and Radon results were received on time as promised. Was impressed from the website through to the end of the inspection.
