We used the fencing company through Angie's List a few years ago. They're a very nice and a very good company. They were very, very good. They did exactly what they said. It's guaranteed for 2 years. They had to come out and look at something which they did a lot for something they did. They were very, very nice. They were wonderful. I would recommend them. The cost of their services was in the ballpark of everybody else. They were competitive. They knew what they were doing.

I agree with the reviewer who said read the fine print with this company, seriously BUYER BEWARE!!! I contacted this company after reading the mostly positive reviews here on Angie's list, parts of our fence was blown away during the Nov 2014 wind/rain storm. I called them, told them we are looking to possibly replace the entire fence, they responded promptly came out gave an estimate to replace the fence the price was a whopping $6700.00. My wife and I decided to just replace the areas needing repair then replace the fence next year. Jim, the customer service rep and I agreed to the 3 posts, and new hardware. Jim told us the job would take 2 days they would come by on Tuesday and complete the Job on Friday. $300 down and the remaining balance when the job is completed that Friday. Cool, they also told me I didn't need to be home. Except, they came and put up the fence on Tuesday, did not use new hardware as agreed, completed the job on the same day the showed up (Tuesday) never returned that Friday to meet with me. After inspecting the fence I realized they didn't replace the hardware as agreed, I contacted them and suddenly they were slow to return my calls, or messages I called today 4/6/2015, and I received the receptionist. I told her of my concern of being charged an extra $475.00 for 3 posts when the posts were supposed to be 30 dollars each. She admitted that were were charged too much, and she remembered that I mentioned the new hardware in the second message I left before the instillation began, unfortunately for us Jim didn't keep his word, and I didn't read the contract because I thought Jim would keep our verbal agreement. After getting a hold of Jim, he was very sarcastic, unapologetic, and was not concerned about the issue, he also denied we had the conversation of the hardware replacement. He didn't offer discount, or apologized for the error. I learned my lesson dealing with Jim, the owner who was not interested in resolving the situation, this company is very unprofessional to work with, poor customer service, and very high pricing! I would say be very careful, and make sure your contract says what you actually agreed upon! It's too bad we were actually going to go with this company next year to replace our fence, but they lost out. I guess business is slow so they need to make it up by deliberately over chaging us

Ok, first of all, read the fine print. No seriously, read the fine print. I called this company because my next door neighbor used them to install a wooden fence and we wanted to extend that fence to our house and they had a positive experience with the company. Called them and they responded promptly, came out, gave and estimate and we scheduled the work to be done. At the time, the guy who came out pointed to an electrical junction box near the metal post that needed to be replaced and mentioned that they'd have to be careful with it. They said I didn't need to be home so that was cool. Came home from work on the day of the install and I didn't have internet, tv, or phone service. They had cut through the communications cables while installing the wood fence. Then I went into the garage. Oh wait, I couldn't. No power to the garage. They cut through that line as well (remember the guy mentioning that they should be careful?). So I called and they said they were not responsible AT ALL. They told me that I signed the contract and told me that the contract absolved them of all responsibility. It's true. The contract did indeed say that. No remorse whatsoever. No discount for screwing up my services. Nothing. Just repetitive droning on about what the contract said. I asked if they carried insurance for damaging someone's home and they said they did, however, the contract blah blah blah. What's the point of being insured then? All I can say is I hope you learn from my bad experience with these folks.

Went well. Estimator showed up on schedule, took his measurements, showed us the options based on what we told him we wanted. We booked the work the following day. They were pretty busy, so our installation was almost six weeks out. Crew showed up on time on the scheduled day and got right to work . Two men put up our fence in seven hours, and it looks great. We were truly impressed.

I was impressed that he was one of many and he came out pronto. He was very professional, I liked him and at this point he's kind of running in a lead. I like his demeanor. I'm going to get a few more quotes to be sure but from what I could see it seemed like he was fair. He gave me what I asked for and recommendations and I appreciated that. I felt like he was experienced and respectful. If I find his prices what I want then I am going to hire him.

We got a quote a while ago from Upright Fence, and we liked the guy who came to the house and the quote looked pretty good. We started calling to try and schedule our install, and after almost daily calls for FOUR WEEKS we finally got a response. By now, we only have 5 weeks to meet our deadline, and they are not only booked 6+ weeks out, but they want us to pay half and sign a contract that this is non-refundable after a week, and sometime in six weeks they'll call me to give me an install date. They won't even tell me before locking me into a $3,500 contract whether or not they'll be able to meet my deadline (obviously they can't), and they were willing to do absolutely nothing to compensate us for having already waited 4 weeks because they would not return our calls. We were told time and time again "somebody will call you tomorrow..." and no call. If you have unlimited time and patience, sure, go with them-- by the sounds of it they do a good job. But personally I am not paying $3,500 to find out if my job will be completed on time six weeks from now! If you're too busy to take business and RETURN PHONE CALLS, stop giving quotes. Don't waste my time.

We are disgusted by companies which do not have the decency to simply say " NO, I am too busy for your job." We could respect this type of honesty in business if it were forthcoming. We are aware that other, larger jobs are available. Please, just let us know so we aren't waiting for a response before contacting others. Angie's List recommends getting 3 quotes before letting a job. It is difficult to do when owners/businesses won't even bother to quote.

I know they did an excellent job and gave a fair price as well. They were very, very helpful to us, they did the job quickly and did it well. I was very happy with the work they did. They worked hard and they were very industrious. I was very pleased with the work. We still like it, it's just what we needed. It was a fair price. I think it was good for the money and it was a good experience.

Everything was fine. They did a great job and the price was fine.

It was great. Very helpful and responsive on the phone. Understood our desire to have a quality job done but at an affordable price since it was a rental house. There was no mess after they left and the fence looked good.

Perfectly. No problems then or since. In fact, I recommended them directly to another neighbor who got three bids, and found Upright Fence to have a great selection of fencing and gate materials, had a face, competitive price, and came out when they needed them. Same as my experience!

Price was right. Workers who installed our fence were very friendly and cared about the job they were doing. We are very happy with the service and the fence we received. Installation of fence is great...it is straight and not high from the ground like a lot of vinyl fences I see.

Two workers came to my residence one day and replaced the five cedar posts and returned three days later to provide any needed repairs to the cedar panels and then mounted the four panels to the posts. Their work was very neat and precise. I am very pleased with the outcome. I felt the price was fair in relation to other previous provider's quotes or completed work. I would call them again for services.

Company was punctual and completed the work, however, the quality of materials was less than we contracted for. The workers cut a sprinkler line when digging and did not repair it. The fence has started to warp already and is weak in places; not the quality product we were promised. They never put the finishing trim on the top edge; leaving a rough raw edge. I would not recommend this company.

A positive experience all around. Cost was as estimated, and this was much lower than the other two quotes I had gotten. Arrived on time, completed the job, and cleaned up. I would not hesitate to call on them for repair or installation of a fence.

Communications with the office could improve. Permit information was not passed on to scheduler, causing a delay in the start of the job.. The installation crew, Dave and Jacob, did an excellent job. They were patient with us and answered our many questions. The completed job looks great. We are satisfied with the outcome.

No details to give. None of the fence businesses I contacted through Angie's List were interested. They wouldn't even recommend smaller companies that wouldn't mind it being a small job. They were useless and I will never use Angie's List again.

They were very prompt the day of installation. Fence was built offsite and the install took only ten minutes. The quality is fantastic. Heavy galvanized pipe, welded, not lugged.

I would not hesitate to recommend Upright Fence without reservation.

They were professional and they did quality job. My husband died right after and I was unable to pay them quickly but they were very kind about it.

I would recommend this company to anyone! They made the process so easy and were professional and did the job exactly when they said they would do it. They took care of all the permits and everything else we needed. And the best part was we got a few quotes and Upright was $2000 less then everyone else. Our fence looks FANTASTIC! They even said they handed out 8 business cards to my neighbors during the install. We keep seeing them slowing down to look at it. The product quality is great, we could not be happier!

Sales team was professional and helped ensure I got the right components to complete my project. When a part was found missing from the factory, they promptly ordered and delivered the missing part; no questions asked.

Everything went very well. No problems at all. They showed up on time and were easy to work with. Two years on, our fence still looks wonderful and we've had no issues with it.
