Description of Work: They replaced the fence on one side of our backyard. Because the posts were cemented and had to set, they left us with a temporary fence to keep our dog separated from our neighbor's dogs. This was a HUGE bonus. The fence looks great, and they did a nice job cleaning up.

Description of Work: We had a picket fence installed along the edge of the new concrete driveway about 30' with 2 gates and a solid panel gate on the opposite side between property fence and the new garage (see: James Fisher Licensed Builder). The picket fence is awesome, A+ on the installation. Minor sticking problem with the closer / lock mechanism was taken care of in a timely manner. |The solid panel gate installation wasn't as awesome. The opening is 5' wide where the concrete ends. They had to deal with jack hammering the garage foundation to install one post. After installation there is a 6 to 8 inch gap between the fence and the edge of the concrete because there is a gutter downspout right at the edge of the concrete. Instead of discussing any options (they don't move dounspouts) the finished product is short of satisfying. First operation of the gate was a disaster. Upon the gate hitting the lock the panel between the post and garage fell out, post sprung toward the garage and the strike from the gate wouldn't hit the lock. They did lean the post back and secure the loose panel and they put a longer strike on the gate (which obviously sticks out farther) but the posts are not parallel to the edge of the concrete. I would give a "D" grade for this installation alone. They did such a terrific job along the edge of the driveway and lousy job along the gate.

Description of Work: Called to set up appointment. Got called in to work during appointment time so I called the office to reschedule. Woman on the phone was polite and understanding. Said she would let the sales guy know. Was getting ready to go to work and he comes anyways. I tell him I rescheduled with the office and he seemed frustrated. Not sure if it was at me or the fact his office made him drive all the way out when I rescheduled much earlier that day. I might use this company again if the need came up.
