SHARON'S HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING

**** I surely would advise that NOONE USE THIS COMPANY! **** On or about May 5, 2024, Sharon's Heating & Cooling installed a new furnace in my home. I immediately had problems with the furnace and central air conditioner not being properly wired to my thermostat. Also, less than 1 hour after they left upon installing the furnace, its 2 front panels fell off, opening the door at the furnace, and the 2 panels being in the hallway and resulting in my inability to access my bathroom and bedroom with my wheelchair. On November 18, 2024, a different contractor came to see what the problem was with my duct work as the airflow was low to certain areas of my home. This different contractor found and photographed the severely incompetent work done by Sharon's. These are the troubles found: 1) The new furnace sat back over 2 inches from the original furnace; 2) The plenum was 2 inches too short to connect to the main trunk line; 3) no effort was made to align the plenum to the trunkline; 4) Thus, my heat and airconditioning had been blowing below my home from 5/5/2024 until 11/20/2024; 5) Resulting in very high natural gas and electrical bills. I surely would advise that NOONE USE THIS COMPANY!

I would not recommend this company. I called them a month ago to give a quote for some duct work replacement in a 3 foot crawl space, person who normally does the quotes said she was sending someone else because she doesn't like crawl spaces. Guy named Rick came and kept suggesting just getting a new AC and Furnace and they would cut us a deal on the duct work. Received quote a few days later from owner Sharon for AC, Furnace and Duct work all in one. Responded to her email that we only wanted duct work quote and no response. Called Sharon, she quoted me $1500 for duct work in crawl space and said she would email me updated quote, which would be changed to flex pipe instead of solid metal as it is now, there is 8 runs and the down flow part of the furnace and another piece of sheet metal for the closet. Never received quote so I emailed her 6 times asking for the written quote, still never received it, but she did respond 13 days ago and tell me they would stick to what she told me $1500 and Rick would be out on June 30th, emailed her June 26th to get a time frame of when they would be out, no response. My husband called and she told him they would be out at 9am. 9am they show up and state that she misquoted the amount and thought she was quoting a basement job down the street and it would now be $2500 and they can't do it today, we would have to reschedule. This company is a joke, unprofessional, unorganized and horrible customer service.

We are completely satisfied. We started experiencing problems with our A/C unit so we called Sharon's for service. We chose them based on prior experience with this company. Although they would have been able to fix the unit, after talking to the repair technician, we decided to replace the units instead of putting money into the old one. He was able to give us a quote on the spot and schedule an install for the following week. He gave us all the info we needed and answered all of our questions so we could make the right decision for us. He gave us all of our options without any high pressure tactics. The install team was equally as professional. They showed up on time, worked diligently, and cleaned up after the job was complete. We felt totally comfortable with having them in our home. We would not hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to family or friends.6000

Well, though they didn't come on scheduled date but two days later. Also, quoted 5 hours to complete but took almost 12.

The guy came right out and we were hearing a bad noise in our furnace. We thought the blower motor was going but it turned out it was the cover on the air cleaner was loose and vibrating. They came right out and got someone out right away. The main reason we have used them is because they are a much larger company. They come out every year and check everything. We had Sharon at a previous place that we lived. We have been very happy with them. They come once a year usually in the Spring so they can check the air and furnace. Basically they check the freon, the coolant levels, make sure everything is right so we have good performance of the A/C in the summertime. We just call them and they come. When the guy was here, I said I want a price on a new air cleaner. It was put in by a different provider and I have not been happy with it. I told him I want a totally different operation here. They are going to call today and schedule to put a new air cleaner in.

Took about 2x as long as estimated. Team was very polite. Installation was successful. They cleaned up after the job was done.

Came out quickly to diagnose problem and fixed it.

The tech they sent out was very nice, however my heater only worked for about a month and then died. Trying to get them back out to fix it was nearly impossible and required 3 more visits. Another $600 later and thank goodness it's getting warm because it's still not working.

When we called Sharon's Heating & Air Conditioning they were the only company that could come out that day. The person that answered the phone was very nice and when the tech, John, called to say he was on his way he was also very nice on the phone. Once John arrived, he was very polite and explained everything that he was doing. He was a very nice person and represented the company in a great manner. I would definitely be using this company for all my AC and furnace needs.

Very prompt response. Installer was here at designated time, called beforehand to let me know he was on his way. Nolan was professional and courteous. No issues. Would definitely use them again. Competitive pricing.

Today the word, awesome is overused, but it truly applies to Sharon?s Heating & Air Conditioning. I?ve used other heating companies in the area, but they don?t come close to the quality of workmen ship service, and price I received from Sharon?s.

Showed on time, explained what he was going to do and went on with installation. After competition of install, purged gas line and fired up furnace numerous times. Checked that I was satisfied and cleaned up. Very satisfied with this installation and this company in general .

On time answered all questions and was very courteous.

I received an estimate from Sharon's and two other companies because I like to do business with local companies. Their estimator explained what replacement equipment I needed, what the optional upgrades were and the rebates available. Their pricing was competitive and they were able to do the job within a few days of my booking it. Their installer showed up on time, was experienced and finished on-time. Glad I went with Sharon's--the whole process was smoothe.

Josh was scheduled for 2:00 and he showed up at 2:01. Not bad at all. Right on time. Explained what he was going to do and then set about to do it. Answered any and all questions I had. Vacuumed out the furnace, checked the burner, etc. Took out all the necessary parts. Performed a gas check to make sure I was safe. It was the best and most thorough job I have had on my furnace. Clean, neat and professional. I am now ready for winter.

I had a new furnace installed , that all went well, although it was good that I was there when the install guy was running the pipe for the condensate, as he was about to route it in not the best way. I pointed that out to him, and he immediately saw that way was better, and redid that part. I have no complaint about the installation, that was all done very well, and they cleaned up after themselves.the problem came when I had this company do a 'tuneup' on the furnace in my other rental house. I initiated this, via Consumers Energy, which offered a rebate for using one of their 'approved conteractors', one of which was Sharon's. The man who showed up brought a trainee with him (who used to be a truck driver and it seemed evident that he had no existing knowledge about ac and heating) - He ran through some tests, did not do ANY tune up of any sort, and then pronounced that I had a bad heat exchanger (the furnace is about 12 yrs old, and in otherwise good condition). he had me look through some tiny instrument, claiming he could see some flame that indicated a crack. he did not show me any CO reading, that would have indicated a leak. I stupidly let them put in a new heat exchanger, and when the men who had installed my furnace in the other house came over to put in the new heat exchanger, and took out the old one, I learned that there was a good place where I could have seen the heat exchanger operation, without looking through the tiny instrument - also, the heat exchanger had no crack in it that was visible - tho it did have some sort of hole in it near the bottom that looked like it had been punched out. Unfortunately, I was not in the basement when they removed it - was it already there, or not, I can't prove it either way. . If I had some proof, and didn't have to leave town, I would have filed a complaint. I am very suspicious, and can only warn others, esp, if you are a senior citizen such as myself, to get a second opinion if you are told that you need a new heat exchanger, before you go ahead with the repair.

The township said that was some of the nicest ductwork they had ever seen installed. They said it was the best and cleanest job they had seen in a long time. They were very impressed and they are the ones that do the permits and codes so it must have been pretty good. They were very professional. They were really good and we would most definitely use them again.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!!!!! Took three days to install system, I NEEDED the system installed a certain way along with the piping and was promised this before I paid and nothing was done as promised. After the system was installed the A/C did NOT work for two weeks after. They have been out several times since July,2010 to fix and or do repairs. Just last night a pipe they have going over my daughters changing table started leaking brown liquid right on her while I was changing her. They never even called the city to have the inspector come over, makes me wonder!

Sharon's it always top notch. Their staff is on-time and will call when on their way which means I can leave work and meet them at the house rather than having to take off a half day to wait for them. They are always professional when they arrive and get the work done quickly and with quality. They explain everything they've done and are reasonably priced for the work being done. We just bought a new hosue and will be using them for our heating/cooling needs there too.

Although Sharon and her crew were polite, I would never hire them again. They left us high and dry without a way to run our furnace at the beginning of Winter. Their estimation, which was performed at our house, was not accurate and resulted in an incomplete job. We have since worked with another company who finished the job correctly the first time through at a cost much less than Sharon s would have ended up costing.

I have recommended them to a dozen people and they have all had good experiences. They are top notch. They are excellent. The price is very reasonable.
